Colorado Boy Pub & Brewery - Local IPA, very good and quite strong, and the cowboy with modifications. Exchange the grape tomatoes with kalmata olives.

Ate here today for a late lunch/early dinner and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas. He…read moregot the Mia Bella and I got The Cowboy and both were just so delicious! They have indoor and outdoor seating options and I thought it was super cute that all of the outdoor benches had dog bowls for everyone who wanted to bring their fur babies along with them. Service was pretty laid back/casual-our waitress took our order within 5 minutes of us being in the restaurant and when we moved to a bench outside they were super flexible. She bought out the food fairly quickly and she also brought us some chili oil that she said people like to drizzle on their pizzas.

They had Irish red on the hand pump, which I wanted to try but never did, it certainly looked great. The building itself is pretty cool, and the vibe is super friendly. It is a bit tight inside, but that makes it feel cozy and fun. The bartender was great and actually gave us a little history lesson, explaining how the space was originally part of the theater next door, which added a nice touch to the experience. The food was fantastic. We made the "mistake" of ordering a large spring salad to share, it was absolutely huge! It was served on a medium pizza pan, but it was delicious, so we didn't mind the portion size. We also shared the Peppadew & Sausage pizza, which was great. All around a fun place with great beer, history, and food.

The restaurant-side was unfortunately closed, but the bar was open. They happened to be serving BBQ this weekend. The BBQ hit the spot. It wasn't the best, but it was good enough to hit the spot. I got the Strawberry Lemonade Clarified Punch, which was refreshing and surprisingly really sophisticated - I was expecting such a sophisticated drink in a random bar in a small town (unincorporated). Drinks were a little pricier, but I think it was still worth it. Definitely recommend popping by if you need a quick drink and grub.

Surprisingly large inside with one side dedicated to the bar and the other side the more traditional restaurant-style. Good variety of beer and cocktails. Was surprised they even had a cider on tap, which is usually hit or miss when I go to a bar. Since it was "experimental," they only charged $3 for it. Loved the creativity behind their cocktails - their Strawberry Banana Clarified Punch was both smooth and tasty. It is a smaller serving - glass came half full including the ice - but probably because the normal mixers are infused in the tequila. They had a very limited food menu while we were there. They were serving BBQ, and you had the option of pulled pork or sausage. A couple different side options. Nothing special about the food - it was enjoyable and at reasonable prices. Wouldn't make a special trip back for the food but would gladly order it if I was already there. Staff were so pleasant. Parking was super easy - spots in front as well as a dirt lot across the street. Overall, enjoyable time. Recommend you stop by for some good drinks!
