We stopped to just buy some wine to take home to our house sitter for taking care of our house while we have been out of town for four months. My husband did the tasting and I stayed in the car to limit our exposure. He bought a few bottles and I have already drank one. It is good wine. I can't wait to return post Covid and "experience" the place.

I really don't like to do reviews because then it just makes so many more people go to places that are special, but this place is super special. The setting, which is out of town is absolutely stunning. The gardens and the tasting area is so very comfortable. The tents are beautifully appointed (coffee and wi-fi, fresh towels) and have air conditioners that cool things down nicely (I visited in mid-July) for a good night's sleep. The showers have everything you'll need and the sheets are crisp and fragrance free. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Cindie, the proprietess, was my gracious hostess. She and her staff were so accommodating, warm, and professional. They treated me like a prince! Everything has been carefully thought of to make my stay in the glamping tent easy and relaxing. The wines are wonderful (go for the petite syrah) and the charcuterie board turned out to be dinner one night. I will be back. This serene little farm is a keeper! Thank you, Cindie and your staff!

Even though it was 95°F outside, we stayed comfortable thanks to the plenty of shaded seating and outdoor misters. There are cozy chairs on the lawn where we spent quite a while enjoying our wine and the scenery. The winery is also pet-friendly both inside and outside, which was a huge plus for us. They don't serve food, but they typically have food trucks on-site. We did the tasting, which included all six wines currently available. My favorite was the White Blend, while my husband's favorite was the Red Blend. The staff was incredibly friendly. After we ordered our tasting inside, they even brought the remaining pours out to me while I was relaxing outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, Restoration Vineyards offers beautiful views, great wine, excellent service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We would absolutely visit again.

The grounds are beautiful, with lush grass, plenty of shade, and cornhole games that make it easy to relax and spend an afternoon. They also have a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is a great bonus for travelers with pets. We chose to sit inside and were fortunate to have Zander as our host. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tasting experience enjoyable. My husband and I shared a tasting flight of six one-ounce pours for $20, and the tasting fee is reduced to just $10 if you purchase a bottle. The wines were outstanding, and we ended up taking home six bottles. Everyone on the staff was warm and welcoming, and the owner, Gary, even took the time to chat with us about their winemaking process. That personal touch made an already excellent tasting even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return the next time we're in the Grand Junction area.
