    Azura patio w/ expansive views

First of all, approaching the winery was like rolling up to an Italian villa, with beautiful grounds and lush landscaping. The wine tasting was very reasonably priced, with the ability to sample 4 different wines for $10, and even included the glass. They were all very well done, and I honestly liked everything I tried. I settled for the yacht club red for my full glass, and settled down under their pergola patio, which sported incredible views and offered shade as well. We were really impressed with everything, and while we didn't get food, we came back with 2 bottles of the Yacht Club Red, as it's only available at the vineyard and not distributed locally. Guess just a good reason to come back! Azura was by far the best vineyard of all the ones we tried in the area and we'd absolutely come back!

5 stars for the view isn't enough. It's amazing. The owner is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable about their wines and her and her husband have a cute art gallery. It's definitely worth the drive and a sit down with a beautiful glass of riesling. I hope to be back soon!

Wonderful wine and then take a bottle to Chef Joe's porch and enjoy the best charcuterie platter and salmon toast on the Western slope. Delicious!

Azura is a great winery/vineyard. Stopped here on a gorgeous day and what a view to go with some very good wine. Our tasting was outside and offered us a good variety of what they offer. We then stuck around to enjoy a glass. Really enjoyed their Riesling. If your are in the area it is worth the stop.

The view was incredible! So many lovely places to sit or wander!

We went here as part of our local honeymoon and we were delighted! First, the place itself is so artistic... I felt like I was transported to Italy, sipping delicious wine while enjoying magnificent views and exploring the grounds... Plus, they have a beautiful art gallery. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and celebrated, and the wines themselves were some of our favorites we came across in Paonia.

Now don't get me wrong - this area is stunningly beautiful as far as scenery goes however, I did NOT anticipate to find the beautiful within Azura Cellars property. Upon entry you swear you have been transported to another world - it is simply stunning what the owners have done to the property. The other wineries in town do not even begin to compare. There is ample seating, classy furnishings, and the view I mean, WOWZA!!! The owner was very helpful to my husband and I and we really enjoyed hearing about the wines (and tasting) but also the property and the art displayed inside (not cheap but incredible). We finally chose to buy a bottle of Pinot Noir. We had the bottle opened and we made our way out on to the patio. We could have sat for hours! And to be honest having wine here was a great way to spend my birthday afternoon let alone any other day of the week//month/year. It is probably one of the best wineries that I've been to in regards to wine (in Colorado) and experience. Top notch place they have here!

This winery is so beautiful! The staff/owners are incredibly friendly. The jewelry they sell is very reasonably priced. The views are outstanding! This is a MUST SEE if you're in Paonia.

Good wine and a beautiful setting. Very artistic inside with pieces for sale by local artist. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

By far the most beautiful winery on the hills above Paonia, Colorado. The wines are some of the best in the region. In addition to tasting these excellent wines, there are ample tables overlooking the valley to enjoy a small picnic. Make sure to climb the tower.

Simply wonderful. Fantastic service. Gorgeous views. Beautiful art. Delicious wine. Perfect afternoon.

Amazing.....Tuscany in the mts of CO....Refined.....drop dead gorgeous......Fantastic Wine! Probably my very favorite winery I have ever been too! I could literally have spent all day here with the views and the wine and the rc sailboats....lol. No really

What a beautiful winery in CO, who knew. I had never bought CO wine before. We made the day trip from Crested Butte, was a great drive and day. We had a fun tasting, all the wines were good. We bought a bottle of Yacht Club Red. The grounds are so beautiful. We were lucky to meet the owner, Helen Gillespie. She was such a nice host, she is also an artist. We all loved the gallery. This is a great spot to take a picnic and try wines, the grounds are so nice, reminds me of Southern France. This is my new spot to take friends visiting, the drive is worth it.

The Riesling was a wonderful surprise. Enjoy the art gallery, get a bottle, sit on the terrace, and drink in the view.

We stopped to just buy some wine to take home to our house sitter for taking care of our house while we have been out of town for four months. My husband did the tasting and I stayed in the car to limit our exposure. He bought a few bottles and I have already drank one. It is good wine. I can't wait to return post Covid and "experience" the place.
