Falafel; pesto hummus with pita bread

Dine here previously with my husband and our fur baby. Located in North Beach, giving locals and tourists another option besides Italian food. Inside seating with a few tables outside making it easy for my fur baby to dine with us. Turkish / Mediterranean food was delicious and service was great. My salmon was cooked perfectly, but the veggies were a tad overcooked. Clean and airy environment. Located on Columbus and Union.

My brother happened to find this place nearby our hotel and it did not disappoint. Our server, MJ, was super hospitable and friendly. Service was fast and portions are big enough to share. My mom ordered their lentil soup which was nice and light. My brother and I each order their gyro wrap; I ordered the chicken gyro while he had the lamb gyro. The chicken was juicy and very tasty. My brother enjoyed the lamb gyro and said it tasted as good as the one he had while stationed in the Middle East. We of course added their French fries which were served fresh out of the fryer. My Dad ordered the mixed grilled plate which was really good, all the meat was tender. We were able to share everything and didn't have any leftovers. MJ's hospitality is unparalleled. After we finished our meal, he brought us complimentary baklava. He took the time to chat with us and tell us about his family. The baklava was crisp and not very sweet. My brother was tempted to order more, which MJ offered, but ultimately declined since we were very full. Ambiance is nice and warm, restaurant is big and spacious. If you're on the fence on whether to dine here, do yourself a favor and give them a chance. Hope you all have the opportunity to meet MJ!

My sister was craving gyros so we stopped in here. What a vibe, really clean and I enjoyed the food! Jose was very kind and made sure to take care of us. We will be back (:

I think this might be in my rotation for great Mediterranean food. Juicy chicken and overall a super filling meal! The server (who I believe may be the owner as well) was so friendly and incredibly hilarious. We came in on a Saturday evening and seating was plentiful; I can see it being great for a quick lunch or dinner. They also close late so if you're lookin for yummy food, this might be the place.

North beach gyros solidified my appreciation for Mediterranean food!! Everything was extremely well seasoned. Our sever Jose was super nice & answered all of our questions. The staff was also kind enough to give us a complementary dessert (baklava). It was my first time having baklava and it was delicious!! I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to Jose for your hospitality and service!!

I stopped by on a Saturday evening for dinner. Very few people were dining in at that time. There was even live music. Beef and lamb gyro plate and chicken gyro wrap were my dinner items. I thought both were good, but could have had some more flavor.

Amazing every time! I love how clean, and delicious their food is. My wife and I have been here a couple of times and really love how friendly the service is to us, even offering a complimentary dessert when we told them we visited right before we got married. Food is flavorful, light, and feels clean. They can do no wrong in my book!

This has been my go to Greek spot when I'm in North Beach. The service is always above and beyond expectations. The manager/owner is always extremely hospitable and hands on. The food is very tasty and consistent, serving the best quality food at all times. Very clean restaurant with a romantic vibe when you come here for dinner. Love the beef and lamb plates and the fried cheese as an appetizer. This place gets a 10 out of 10 stars at all times! I highly recommend you try this place out.

Cozy Mediterranean vibe right into the heart of North Beach. I'm originally from the Middle East, and honestly, the food here felt like a taste of home. We got the meze plate, vrything was homemade and super fresh. Portion is good for 2-3 people. The baba ghanoush was amazing, probably my favorite part. Hummus was light, tzatziki was solid, and the falafel was crispy without being greasy. The place feels authentic and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend checking it out!

What…read moremakes this place stand out is its TRUE authenticity and Middle-Eastern hospitality: * Rich, diverse flavors and top-quality food -- both in ingredients and preparation. The food is incredibly delicious, clearly made with high-quality ingredients, and absolutely worth the price. The dishes genuinely took me back to my roots. I've tried almost every place in the city offering this cuisine, so I don't say this lightly. * What truly places this establishment ahead of all its San Francisco peers is that it offers the famous Middle-Eastern hospitality where guests are honored and made to feel welcome. The service was exceptional! We were served by Syrine, who added her own welcoming touch and made the afternoon even more enjoyable! PS: My only comment for the owners, but this is a question of personal taste and not really a reflection on the establishment, I would've loved to have some Turkish or Arabic music in the background.

What we ordered: + Meze Combo [5/5]: A bit overpriced for the portion but the diversity of spreads and dips was worth it IMO. The hummus and ezme were very classically flavored. The portion size, flavor, and texture of this is amazing! The veggies and herbs are incredibly fresh. This is my favorite and I would 100% order this again. + Beyti [5/5]: Very impressive dish. The beef/lamb meat in this is pretty tender and a thick cut. The tomatoes add a nice sweetness throughout the dish, and the cheese is super fluffy and light pairing. Yummy! The Stuffed falafel was so good and huge 1 is enough for 2 people. The mosabaha was very refreshing and so good. The meat combo was good overall and everything was very herbally spiced, I wasn't impressed by the lamb tho but the kebab, hummus, and chicken were great! I haven't had Mousakhan before so not sure how it should taste but to me it was sweet and savory with really well cooked chicken. I honestly felt pretty healthy overall cause I was eating hella veggies and everything tasted so fresh. Arab food isn't really spicy but it is spiced and very herbal which I felt in the food here, I appreciate that chili sauce is provided for the spice lovers. Overall, would highly recommend. It was about $100ish for everything and they recently increased their prices but tbh the portion sizes are huge and I feel like it is so worth it we had hella leftovers. My guy ordered this and thought it was average. 3/5 LAMB SHISH KEBAB WRAP ~ this was my dish. I ate one half of the wrap and it only held two cubes of lamb meat. The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor! I'll have to add something to it when I eat the rest of this wrap at home. 2.5/5 HALF ROASTED CHICKEN AND RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish. It needed more sumac. This tasted like plain roasted chicken. Maybe it needs more seasoning while marinating. It wasn't dry, so that's a relief. Rice was ok and it wasn't dry or soggy. 3.5 We've been spoiled and have had better food in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Nothing stood out for any of us. Prices are a bit high for what you get.
