I have mixed feelings about this spot and it's probably because I've had inconsistent experiences. What I always enjoy is the outdoor seating and nicely lit indoor space. The hummus is the best I've ever had and the mezze platter is a great share. The meat can be overcooked or dry in the entrees though.

This place looks inviting, yummy, has that awesome college campus vibe and professional all at the same time. I see med students, health professionals and kids. They are very welcoming. The staff is super friendly. The food was excellent. And there's foosball table, sports memorabilia, seat cushions, great lighting and lots of plants. There's so much to say. But all I can say is I recommend this place. Come and give 'em a try! That solid A is smokin!!!!

The hummus was good we got that with two chicken kabobs. Everything was fresh and clean good seating and food came out quickly at a decent speed considering the rush before a concert across the street.

Always curious about this place, my partner is receiving treatment at UCSF and I decided to try it out today. Food is delicious, I had the chicken gyro plate with the dressing on the side. Loved it. The place can get busy around lunch time, but there is ample seating inside and outside. Plenty of natural light inside. Service is quick, if you are eating in they gave you a number and bring out your food to your table.

We were in the area and saw this place had good reviews, therefore we gave it a try. The food was delicious. We order beef and lamb gyros and hummus with pita bread and it did not disappoint. It took us back to when we were in Greece. The service was great and fast. The ambiance was welcoming perfect for families.

First visit to SF Kebab, food was really fresh, service friendly and prompt with orders. Had a little rush while I was there which was a great sign. Food was really good and gets the vote for best Falafel. Access to napkins recommended be place where you have access prior to seating as their was some debris left from the previous dinners on the table but nothing to wipe them off if you need to do it yourself... just a suggestion. The restaurant has a nice well lite, wood accents and colored pillows give it a nice cozy ambiance.

SF Kebab Stopped by while I was in the area and craving something quick but not too heavy--SF Kebab hit the spot. I went with the Salmon Shish Kebab Plate (23.95), it was well-seasoned and grilled just right: tender inside with a nice char on the outside. The portion was generous, with a good amount of rice and a fresh side salad to balance it out. Service was fast and no-fuss, which I appreciated since I was just passing through. A reliable, satisfying meal

My coworkers and I stopped by for lunch to give this spot a try. Pretty busy place with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly cashier at the counter. I'm not a fan of lamb so I got the kofta wrap. My friends got the kofta plate and the chicken kebab plate. We all remarked that the prices are on the higher side. Food came out to our outdoor table. My wrap was mostly lettuce and a smaller serving of the beef. Wasn't really impressed. My friend's plates had more meat, especially the chicken entree. The accompanying rice wasn't great, per my coworker. Both plates came with a stale roll vs flatbread. I wanted to like this place but wasn't really impressed.

The other day, we tried a Mediterranean restaurant across the street from Chase Center. Love my Mediterranean food! I ordered Hummus w/ Pita Bread. It was so good. I loved the way they made theirs. I also ordered the Plate with Beef Shish Kebab, Pilaf & Salad. Dan was so nice to talk to in the beginning & he gave us Baklava on the house! Shout out to him! The prices are not bad at all, considering being in San Francisco, on top of that, across the street from Chase Center. The place is nice and spacious. Nice outside seat, could be for a nice day! I look forward to coming here again!

Whats better than a Sunny Day in San Francisco & superb middle eastern food!? The service was superb to say the least & the venue was super warm w/outdoor seating & a lil foosball table while customer waited for their food. I order Alexanders Favorite(pictured) & it has become my favorite. The marinated meat & hand made bread soak in the juax of the beef warmed my heart & soul to a dish that served a homely sort of experience w/the red tomato sauce. Not to mention the house yogurt which elevated & balanced the dish to completeness. We also ordered the Mezze platter. The baba ganoush was the best ive ever had & couldn't stop eating. My dining partner also really enjoyed the hummus. A passing customer looked at our table & iterated; " you musta like it you cleaned up your plate". Lol All an all a lovely experience & cant wait to come back again

The ambiance and location are seven stars. This place is perfect. What is it, even? It's like one of those restaurants in those sci-fi movies, like the third and fourth seasons of Westworld, although I hated both those seasons with so much passion, it's not even funny. The food is pretty good. It's pretty expensive too. I don't mean it's ridiculously expensive in a ridiculous way, but for what you get, it just doesn't feel too valuable. But did I mention the physical surroundings? Inside and out. There are tactile, visual, and botanical delights in which to delight. Even the space around and outside is inviting, although strange. What's with all the dirt? Why isn't there a path? Are you supposed to eat outside on those benches? I'm sure the answer to all these questions is UCSF, as in they own the land, so they do whatever they want or don't want with it. But UCSF's indecision is your gain, because this place is kray to the kray. My falafel whatever was good. The people who work here are nice. There are many of them. I love all the tile and glass and cushions and ceramics. Is there a water station? I believe there is, and if my belief is correct, I love it! Don't let this place intimidate you, although it intimated me away from trying it for years. Learn from my mistakes! That's the best way to learn.

Greek Salad Bowl, add lamb kebab

Came by on a weekday before Thanksgiving while my husband was at an appt at UCSF. Convenient location right across from the Chase Center. Beautiful interior, airy, bright. Only downside was it was a chilly day and I sat next to one of the side doors so there was a big gust of cold air each time someone went in or out! I had the Greek salad with a lamb kebab added. It was SO GOOD. The greens were fresh and crisp, the feta was salty and perfect (no bland cheap feta here), cucumber/tomato/onion were cut up into perfect bite size pieces. The balsamic vinaigrette was herby and delicious. The kebab had a great grilled taste, was well seasoned, and grilled perfectly tender. My only regret is I forgot to ask for their hot sauce, which is spicy and a bit fermenty and delicious. I know the hot sauce is good because before I left, I ordered my husband the same salad to go. In the to go bag, they kindly packed a container of the hot sauce, which went perfectly with the meat. Will definitely return here for a tasty meal next time I need to go to ucsf!

I ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate, and while the meat was flavorful, I wish they included more hummus. At around $25- $30 per plate, I expected a more generous portion. I ordered takeout and arrived about an hour later because the app never updated to show my order was ready. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and they didn't start preparing my food until I got there. I mentioned that I had placed the order an hour earlier and expected it to be ready, but the server seemed to brush off my concern, which was disappointing. One highlight was the hot sauce. I'm not sure if it's house-made or not, but it's so good. The pita, however, was a letdown. I prefer my pita soft, fluffy, and warm, but this one was hard and grainy. Overall, it's a cute restaurant with decent food, but it isn't my top choice.

Being married into a family that specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, I admit I'm a bit biased. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich, Lamb Sandwich, Greek Fries, Juicy Potatoes, and Baklava Crumbles & Syrup. The Chicken Sandwich was very mediocre since it was pretty much just Shredded Chicken with Veggies and the Pita Bread, which also was a weird texture and meh in flavor. The Lamb Sandwich was was also very meh. The Lamb itself was on the tough side of life and this didn't really have any flavor to it besides the taste of Feta Cheese. The Greek Fries were the best thing and those were also pretty okay. They were nice and crispy but that was all. The Juicy Potatoes were indeed juicy, but that was really it. The problem was that they didn't have any flavor. The Baklava Crumbles and Syrup was okay. The Frozen Yogurt was okay and the Baklava that went with it was very meh in terms of taste and texture. This was definitely the worst Baklava tasting thing that I have tasted before and wish that there was the Pilo Dough to give it some texture instead of being mushy. Overall, very mediocre in taste and overpriced in terms of taste.

I arrived around 5:45PM and they had a few spots open. They have a good amount of tables, and the interior decor makes the entire spot feel elevated. I placed my order around 6PM and received my food around 6:40PM. I ordered a falafel appetizer and paired it with a Mixed Grill Kebab and a Beyti. The falafel was really crunchy and flavorful, and overall tasted freshly made. The Beyti was a more riskier dish we ordered, as we aren't as familiar with Mediterranean cuisine. It's basically the meat from the Kofte Kebab wrapped in a bread, with seasoned yogurt as dipping sauce. Since we were familiar with the Kofte taste, this dish was a good twist on the flavor and I would definitely recommend it, especially as a shareable plate! The Mixed Grill Kebeb took the show, because how can a chicken breast be so juicy? We ordered this one to taste all this establishment had to offer, and the chicken was arguably better than the lamb. The chicken breast was super juicy and flavorful, but the lamb felt a little under-seasoned and could've used a little bit more salt. Not a big fan of the gamey taste of lamb, but the lamb chop here had very little - to a point where it tasted GOOD. The seasoning they use is magical, and the hints of cumin mask the taste exceptionally well. Did I mention big portions and good service? I love how this place diverges from the small SF portions and gives you a fulfilling meal with leftovers if needed. We are so accustomed to not taking home leftovers when I remember getting leftovers everytime pre covid! Bursa is an amazing place to take the parents, the inlaws, or even visiting friends to experience one of the many pockets of SF's vibrant districts while getting yummy food without paying tech bro prices. I look forward to coming back, but wish I didn't exhaust all my conversation topics before finishing my meal.
