I'm glad that another Middle Eastern place has replaced that embarrassment Yasmin, which itself had sort of replaced the original Ali Baba's Cave (RIP), the first place I ever had a falafel wrap with fries in it. Although there's not as much cool art on the walls as when it was Yasmin, SF Grill still feels much more welcoming and cozy than Yasmin ever did. The people are also friendlier, and the food comes up more quickly. I'm not exactly sure why there's a $6 difference between the regular falafel wrap and the falafel supreme wrap. Yes, the latter includes French fries (in the wrap), red cabbage, pickles, and eggplant; but I cannot imagine those additional ingredients cost that much more. I order the supreme for the fries, so maybe next time I'll ask them to hold the eggplant and see whether they'll charge me less. read more

i came here after a late-night tennis match once and the food was delicious. i got falafel and a chicken skewer and the falafel was very crispy. the food was very flavorful, like the chicken skewer is really tender and juicy actually. i was really impressed by that. for the price it is on the slightly pricier side but honestly i think for the taste, location, and convenience it is worth it. it's a very solid delicious mediterranean-flavored place. they're open till around 10:00 i believe so that's on the slightly later side for sf at least. the owner is really nice. he's at the grill or at the cash register - very friendly. it makes me very happy every time i go there just to support the business. i'll be back soon. read more

So whatever you're in the mood for The lamb and beef plate was fantastic, the meat was flavorful and the rice it sat on top of was buttery and amazing! Met my girlfriend to have lunch there, and I ordered the falafel platter with all the vegetarian samplings. The owner was beyond sweet. The second I came in inside, he offered me a complimentary falafel which was delicious, not too oily, not dry, with a little bit of spice in it, just perfect. The owner checked in with me completing my order whether I was vegan or not, which I really appreciated. Great local spot. I've come in maybe 3-4 times and I've liked everything that I've tried. My husband and I like their chicken wrap and falafel. They have a good menu with Mediterranean and American (burgers) options. There's seating inside, it's clean with extra drinks and snacks to buy inside. Decided to get something different for dinner so decided to try out sf grill Looked at reviews and star ratings seem to look like try Sorry to say we gave it a 1 star. We ordered 2 beef kabobs plates and 1 chicken, chicken was dry under seasoned as well as the beef and tough to chew Also ordered a simple garlic fry they were so pale and very under fryed looking and soaking with oil Had to refry them at home and add more of everything Usually don't like to do reviews but I paid close to 90 bucks for all this wont be going back or recommending this place I think they should retest there whole menu again and do better on taste and texture read more

Their food is great and super flavorful with generous portions and the service is super friendly (Mohammed remembered me after my first visit). I got the chicken schwarma plate, fries, and tabbouleh salad and omg so good. The tabbouleh was lemony and bright, the Chicken Schwarma plate was spicy with buttery rice, creamy hummus and tangy tzatziki, and fresh Greek salad. The pita is warm (get an extra- there is so much to eat!!) and it's enough food for two. Their fries are as good as McDonald's and I'm looking forward to trying the burgers next time. read more

It was a 2 person show, so it wasn't super fast but it was well worth the wait and service was great.
