Well I have wondered about this place so the mystery is over. The food is delicious I ordered a lamb mansaf a traditional Jordanian dish . Which was grilled flatbread with lamb and saffron rice with yogurt sauce and a Turkish coffee. The food was filling the service was fine . I sat outside it was warm and quiet. Inside they had more seating and a back room for extra seating and lovely maybe Jordanian music. I am looking forward to returning on my next visit to this area.

Came here on a Friday evening - we sat in the back patio which was very cute and nicely heated! They gave complementary pita chips and dips, which were delicious! As an appetizer, we got the muhamarra which was very flavorful! As a main dish, we got the chicken shawarma rolled bites - they were delicious and perfect for sharing! The shish tawook which was flavorful, but slightly on the smaller side. The staff members are really friendly and welcoming - will definitely be back again soon!

We came here on a weeknight and did not have a reservation but were able to walk-in when it opened. Not sure you can always do that given how busy this place got the later in the evening it got during the course of our meal. We ordered the baba ganoush and pita, falafel rolls, salmon and freekah, and lentil soup. We also received a side of complimentary pita chips and dip and we ordered two desserts which were quite tasty. Our friend and my partner also paired a glass of wine that was purchased from Palestine, and they said that it was very good. The complimentary chips and dip were very good and fresh. The baba ganouch was good, and the pita was standard a bit warm. The falafel rolls were fine, but nothing special. My partner really liked the freekah and salmon, and he said the salmon was grilled to perfection. Overall, this restaurant serves delicious food and has very nice outdoor seating in the back and also in the front.

Delicious and unique food! Would definitely come back here. We didn't need reservations on a weekday and were able to get a table on the back patio. The ambiance was amazing, with beautiful decor.

Cute spot! Nice staff too. I love middle Easter food and this was tasty and delicious. I ordered a Turkish coffee (great!) I was told mine was the last one. We shared the Jerusalem breakfast which had egg salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, grapes, strawberries, pita bread, hummus, labneh, oil, and zaatar. All very good and was a good portion size. My friends also ordered a Kufta wrap. They were kind to let me taste it and wow it was full of flavor. The garlic sauce was great. Dog friendly and have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking near by on 16th and Hoff. I'd come back again!

I always pass this place and felt so drawn to its authentic ambiance so I finally tried it out. The restaurant is gorgeous. And the food is definitely fun. Come with a group! Appetizers: We got the house sampler, jibneh halloumi (AMAZING you have to get), jawaneh chicken wings, and bamia bil bandorah. All totally yum! Entree: Jambari skewer, musakhan, and mansaf. I think the entrees were alright, not a lot of flavor so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Also I would definitely recommend family style eating here. Makes the most sense with portions / types of food! Service was pretty slow. We were a table of 6 so it's understandable at times, but we didn't have our water canteen filled once, none of us received drink refills and we had to constantly flag our waitress down for any service. Overall this place has great ambiance but the food and service did not live up to what I would've wanted.

I had a nice dinner with girlfriends here. Reservations made online a month in advance for a Thursday at 6:30pm for five people. They weren't crazy busy so we probably could have walked in. $52.12 per person for 3 cocktails, 2 non alcoholic drinks, 4 starters, 3 entrees, and one dessert.

Lovely restaurant serving middle eastern/palestinian bites, and busier than I expected on a Tuesday night. Service was sufficient with no delays less than an hour before closing time, despite most tables being full both inside and in the patio out front. Our food was ready in about 10-12 minutes. We ordered kufta skewers with garlic sauce instead of tahini (beef and lamb kabob with onions, parsley, and mediterranean spices), shish tawook skewers (grilled chicken breast), zahara bil tahini (cauliflower mixed with tahini and spices), jibneh nabulsi (salty grilled cheese, atop a very thin cracker). Everything was remarkable and full of flavor, there isn't a single item we weren't impressed by. I especially liked the muthawama garlic sauce which wasn't too garlicky and had a consistency like whipped butter, perfect for dipping the chicken pieces as well as the pita bread that came on the side.

This was my first time at a Palestinian restaurant. The flavors were similar to Mediterranean cuisine (Greek, Turkish) but there were some interesting dishes I hadn't tried before. So glad to have tried it. A few things to call out: House sampler - nice way to try a lot of the appetizers. Normally I'm not a fan of tabbouleh, but this one was delicious. Not overly parsley forward. The pita was great as well, though we had to ask for another basket to finish all the dips. Chicken Shawarma - our favorite! The chicken was tender and flavorful and we loved the garlic sauce. Mansaf - many others called this one out so we had to try it. Maybe it was just a bad day but the lamb was quite gamey, so gamey that the spices couldn't cut through. Disappointing. Kanafeh - depending on which part you ate, it was either delicious our cloying sweet. Wish they had a lighter touch in the honey.

really great menu and delicious food! this is one of the most vegan-friendly (by default) places in the city, can't wait to go back and try more! they even have things like vegan tzatziki and dessert options, which i really appreciate.

The server was amazing! We walked in and we're seated in the back patio, as the evening was coming to a close. Our server was very helpful and explaining the different dishes, and we went with a starter platter as well as the salmon, chicken, and beef skewers. They were delicious, and they good size for the price. We were able to take some as leftovers, and enjoy them the next day as well. The baklava is served with ice cream on top, and delicious! We will absolutely be back to try more items.

I came with my friend after making a dinner reservation for Sunday evening. The host and wait staff were generally pretty helpful and efficient. We ordered the Mansaf, Zahara Bil Tahini, and Freekeh. In general, I would say that the food was good but not particularly memorable. The cauliflower felt a little soggy and oily, but the flavor was good. I liked the lamb in the wrap was yummy, but the wrap itself was cold and fell apart super easily. The freekeh was just standard grains. They also gave a free side of pita, which I appreciated but was also just okay. We ordered based on what our server recommended and what we saw was popular, but maybe we just didn't order the right things? That being, I really liked the ambiance. I feel like it had a cool aesthetic going on without trying too hard, and I could see myself wanting to come in a larger group to try other things on their menu. Their bathroom was also super high tech which I found entertaining.

Really nice Middle Eastern restaurant on the North end of the mission. Made a last minute reservation and got a table in their cool back courtyard. Really nice environment. Generally officious service.... could have been a lot nicer in general and more responsive, but functional and efficient. Greek salad was great.... chicken schwarma wrap was pretty dry.... no hummus on the brunch menu, but glad they did that for us anyway as it was really great. Strange / unnecessary QR code interface to the bathroom.... when there's a sister restaurant nextdoor with a normal bathroom... Good spot if you're in the neighborhood, but probably not a destination...

We ordered the shawarma and hummus, and everything was fresh and well seasoned. The meat in the shawarma was juicy and not dry, and the hummus was very smooth and creamy, clearly made well. A great spot if you're craving something tasty and satisfying from Middle Eastern cuisine. I'd definitely come back.

The location on Geary is excellent--it has that perfect neighborhood "bodega" feel but with a polished, modern edge. ### The Vibe & Service The ambiance is casual and welcoming, and the service is consistently solid. It's the kind of place where the staff actually seems happy you're there. On a sunny San Francisco afternoon, their **alfresco seating** is the place to be. There's nothing quite like tearing into a warm pita while catching some rays on the sidewalk. ### The Food The "delicacies" here are the real deal: * **Hummus:** Incredibly smooth and rich. It's clearly the star of the show. * **Babaganoush:** Perfectly smoky and creamy. * **Falafel:** Crispy on the outside, vibrant green and fluffy on the inside--just how it should be. * **Pita:** Hands down some of the best in the city. It arrives warm, pillowy, and fresh. * **Salads:** Don't sleep on the sides. The Israeli salad and cabbage are crisp, fresh, and provide that necessary acidic bite to cut through the rich tahini and hummus. **Verdict:** Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or lingering over a spread of small plates outside, this place delivers. High-quality, authentic flavors with a great community vibe. Definitely a staple in my SF rotation.

When we arrived at around 7:30 pm, there were tables available. It's a comfortable cafe-like restaurant with mural paintings on the wall. Service was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as the ambiance and waitstaff. ***OUR PICKS*** BEEF SHAWERMA ENTREE ~ the beef was overly salted, saffron rice was ok, hummus was really thick, like peanut butter. My guy ordered this and thought it was average. 3/5 LAMB SHISH KEBAB WRAP ~ this was my dish. I ate one half of the wrap and it only held two cubes of lamb meat. The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor! I'll have to add something to it when I eat the rest of this wrap at home. 2.5/5 HALF ROASTED CHICKEN AND RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish. It needed more sumac. This tasted like plain roasted chicken. Maybe it needs more seasoning while marinating. It wasn't dry, so that's a relief. Rice was ok and it wasn't dry or soggy. 3.5 We've been spoiled and have had better food in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Nothing stood out for any of us. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Sadly, probably won't be back.
