    Amazing food! The branzino was definitely the standout, since it was crispy but perfectly cooked and so flavorful, but everything was delicious. Mezze platter had a lot of flavor and went very well with the Pita. The halloumi was so tasty we had to get 2 orders! Lamb was a little more tomato-ey for my liking, but still was delicious. White wine paired very well. Service was great, staff was very friendly and the vibes inside are super cute, great spot for a celebration dinner. Will definitely be back.

    I visited Beit Rima on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was packed. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the process is to find a table first, then order at the counter and grab a number. Since we had our dogs with us, it took about 15 to 20 minutes to snag an outdoor spot. It was a pretty warm day and there was not much shade outside, so keep that in mind if you are bringing pets. If you have any food allergies, they have a separate allergy menu that you can ask for at the counter. It is very helpful for identifying things like gluten-free or dairy-free options. The housemade lemonades were also very refreshing and perfect for the warm weather. The service took a little while because they were so busy, but the food was worth it. I really enjoyed the chicken shish tawook plate and the shakshuka.

    I'm not too familiar with Mediterranean food and this was such a great intro. We arrived as a party of 2 on a Saturday afternoon and were able to be seated instantly. There was a steady stream of customers dining in and ordering to go the entire time we were there but overall, not too busy. Ordered the chicken shish and the lamb kebab and loved every bite. The chicken plate came with a generous portion of food and the lamb was so tender and fell off the bone. Lamb is one of my favorite proteins and this was so well done- not too gamey as it can often be. There was a garlicky sauce on the chicken plate that was so addicting. Wish I could've tried more items like the hanger steak or the baba ganoush but we were just too full. Next time! Also it's located right off the muni exit so super convenient to get to and from

    I came here on a Friday evening right before closing. Thankfully, the server was kind enough to still serve us. I appreciated that because some places would have turned us away. The restaurant has a nice vibe for a small Arabic spot. It was more on the casual side, but welcoming. We started with the halloumi, which was good but a bit on the salty side. For my main dish, I ordered the musakhan since it's known as a national Palestinian dish. The chicken was tender and flavorful from the unique spices. Even the plating looked beautiful! I'm pretty picky with chicken dishes, so it didn't end up being especially memorable for me. I've heard great things about their mezze plate, so I'd like to come back and try that next time. It could I didn't order the best dishes since the restaurant was on a time crunch.

    The other night, we felt like middle eastern fare, so we stopped by Beit Rima for dinner. It was a weekday evening at around 6:30, so naturally it was crowded, but we managed to snag one of the last indoor tables. The restaurant is modern, warmly lit, yet small and cozy, holding roughly a dozen tables depending on the party size. Outside, they have another dozen or so tables. The outdoor dining really helps accommodate on those busy nights! So waiting for a table isn't too bad at all. Once you grab a table, you stand in line to order and pay for your food. Then you take a number and sit down. ***OUR PICKS*** CHICKEN SHISH TAWOOK PLATE ~ Yogurt marinated chicken, charred onions/red peppers, hummus, toum (garlic sauce), mom's rice, pita bread. They give you a healthy serving of very tender chicken on 3 skewers, 3 pieces of pita bread, pickled radish, hummus, and mom's rice, which tasted like jasmine rice? It's usually basmati rice where the grain is longer and not sticky. The rice was sticky yet it had a hard center in some grains so maybe it was steamed and not boiled? The texture and taste of the rice was disappointing whether it was basmati or jasmine. However, I enjoyed the plentiful chicken and how moist and delicious it was. Hummus was good and pita bread was warm and soft, perfect for dipping. Though I did not see toum on my plate, but asked if we could get some on the side, which they graciously gave us. Maybe it was mixed in there and I missed it. 4/5 BEEF KABOB PLATE ~ spiced kabobs, grilled tomatoes, tahina (tahini - sesame paste), mom's rice, hummus, pita. My guy thought the meat was hard on the outside. He was wondering if the meat was grilled or deep fried having a crunchy exterior. Though the meat inside the kabob was soft. What a contrast! It had the texture of a tater tot. We were expecting the meat to be on a skewer, but it looked like sausage links. The rice was the same sticky rice. Sadly, we would rather have basmati. He thought the food was ok, but he's had better. 3/5 I bumped the rating up a 1/2 star for quick service and nice cafe ambiance. It's a great spot to gather with friends, though it can get a little loud inside. Outside would have been quieter and probably easier to have a conversation.

    Had dinner here last week and was very satisfied. Beit Rima has been on my list for a while so I'm glad I finally got to try it. Not sure what took me so long! Lol The mezze sampler was awesome. I loved each and every dip it came with + the house made pickles. We also ordered the hanger steak and chicken which were both equally delicious. Definitely will be coming back to try more!

    Beit Rima has officially ruined me for all other Mediterranean food. I.am.ruined. We ordered the chicken shish, shakshuka, mezze plate, and potatoes, and every single dish made me pause mid-conversation to just stare at my fork and make sure I relished this meal because this place is 2,488 miles from my home. The chicken shish was impossibly tender and flavorful with a crispy char on each piece. It sat upon a bed of rice with lightly crisped onion slices, which are the supporting actor of the dish. The shakshuka was rich and comforting in the way only something made with actual care can be. The egg was perfectly oozy and the tomatoes were rich with flavor. And the mezze plate is an absolute masterclass. Each component was distinct, intentional, and better than the last, but we definitely have to pay homage to the bread because it was the perfect vessel for everything. But the potatoes. I don't know what they did to those potatoes. I don't know if there was sorcery involved. All I know is they were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and deeply addictive. We finished them in a way that suggested poor impulse control but excellent judgment. Service was equally outstanding; warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without hovering. The whole experience felt effortless, which is usually the result of people working very hard behind the scenes. Beit Rima isn't just a great neighborhood spot, it's the kind of place that makes you immediately plan your return visit before you've even paid the bill. Already booking my next trip from Ohio to San Francisco and a visit to Beit Rima is on the agenda!

    I've often passed by this restaurant on the N Muni Stop, and this is the first time I was able to enjoy a weekend dinner with my friends here. At around 5:30PM when it started becoming crowded, the outside tables became open for seating, and space heaters placed outside made it not too cold. Although we sat outside, we still went inside to order and got number cards for our orer. Shakshuka: This tomato heavy dish with an egg in the middle was rich and comforting since the spiced tomato sauce was hearty and not overwhelming. The eggs were also perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Beef Kebab Plate: This was well-seasoned and tender, with the right amount of char from the grill. Both this and chicken plate we ordered came with sauce and rice that complemented the dishes. Chicken Shish Tawook Plate: This was my personal favorite, as the chicken on the skewers were seasoned perfectly, juicy, and flavorful. Portions were generous for the price, and I would recommend this spot if you're craving some Middle Eastern flavors!

    Excellent Mediterranean food. So many options to choose from. Place was vibrant with people. Staff were friendly and receptive to our food preferences. We ordered vegan and vegetarian items. We are very happy with the food and the overall experience. Nice location too. Thanks to the team here who put together such an awesome spread!

    Cool location (right by a Muni stop) and great outdoor seating. This restaurant itself is super cute and charming. We liked the limited variety of dishes on the menu. The mezze sampler was a good move for our group of 6. The pita is soft, hummus is smooth and delicious, and falafel is so flavorful and just moist enough! The yogurt chicken was my favorite (very flavorful and tender). The lamb shank and beef kabob plates were well-cooked, but lacked flavor for us. The hanger steak was overcooked, but still had good flavor and components. Overall, this is still a great place to come for a nice brunch/lunch with friends & family! Definitely do family-style and order a variety for the table! (Only complaint is that nobody came for water refills until we were literally about to go! But otherwise the service was fairly quick and friendly.)

    Small cozy interior (expect to be close to your neighbors) but delicious food and friendly staff! - Beef kabob : delicious logs of meat, not dry and was flavorful! The cherry tomatoes in the rice were grilled perfectly and so sweet! - Chicken plate : somehow better than the beef! The chicken was so juicy and tender, seasoned perfectly! Nice portion and delicious with the hummus side - Baba ganoush : smokey and nice consistency, delicious with the pita and to save for the mains!

    We came for my best friend's birthday and it was really delish! MEZZE SAMPLER lebna, muhammara, baba ganoush, hummus, pickles, 2 falafel 21 Love being able to try all the different appetizers! Everything was tasty. BAKED HALLOUMI jalapeno, meyer lemon, herbs 14 Halloumi generally doesn't have much flavor, so I was blown away when I tasted this! One of my favorite dishes of the night! The seasoning was great. SHAKSHUKA farm egg poached in a spiced tomato & pepper stew 14 I've never had shakshuka and didn't have high expectations, but this was so tasty! BEEF KABOB PLATE 22 spiced kabobs, grilled tomatoes, tehina, mom's rice, hummus, half pita The beef kabob was good, but a little on the dry side. CHICKEN SHISH TAWOOK PLATE 22 yogurt marinated chicken, charred onion/red pepper, toum, hummus, mom's rice, half pita Everyone preferred the chicken over the beef. SAMIR'S HAND KNEADED BREAD 6 fresh pita with caraway, nigella, thyme topped with zaa'tar and sumac Tasty bread to dip in the hummus and anything else!! Tasty Mediterranean spot!

    I go take out here one evening and ordered the mezze sampler and the chicken shish tawook plate. The mezze sampler came with lebna, muhammara, baba ganoush, hummus, pickles, 2 falafels and pita bread. Everything in the sampler was good, the muhammara had a nice roasted bell pepper flavor. The chicken shish tawook plate had marinated chicken, onions, red pepper, toum, hummus, rice and pita. The chicken was delicious. It was moist, had good amount of char and spice. The toum on top of the chicken was a nice balance to balance the smokiness. The onion and red pepper were charred which was a nice addition to balance the meat. Having the side of rice, hummus and pita worked nicely with the meal. Overall, very good experience, I will be back. They get busy here so ordering take out works nicely as well.

    Are dogs allowed on the patio / outdoor eating area?

    I saw dogs on the patio while I was there and no one said anything, it seemed friendly. I'd give them a call to confirm but it seems if the dog is social and well behaved it wouldn't be an issue.

    Do you have a vegetarian plate, something like the beef kebab sides but with Falafel or Halumi as protein options? A lot of people would like a vegetarian plate of food, not millions dishes. Please consider a vegetarian plate with all the lil sides.

    Yes, you can order the Falafel Plate. Not listed on the menu, buts it’s the beef kebab plate but with five falafels instead of 3 kebabs. $16

    We had such a wonderful time at Dalida last year celebrating our 20th that we decided to run it…read moreback for our 21st! It was so good that it was the first time that we've ever repeated a restaurant for an anniversary date! I was hesitant that the second experience would live up to the first but it totally did and then some! We arrived 1.5 hours early to explore the Presidio - IMO the best and most beautiful part of San Francisco - and walked down to the Golden Gate Bridge and Beach where on an uncharacteristically immaculate, windless, perfectly baby bear (not too hot, not too cold, juuuuuust right) warm day we saw people body boarding and water skimming, stopping by the Korean War Memorial and the National Cemetery where endless rows of Korean War Vets killed in the line of duty are buried. The experience at Dalida is like a good dream that you don't want to end. If you go to Dalida, you might as well make a day out of it...we briefly stopped at Inspiration Point for a quick photo but you could also visit the Walt Disney Museum, the Lucas Film Lobby, the Palace of Fine Arts, take a quick stroll through Lover's Lane, visit the Presidio Officer's Club, or just hang out on the immaculate lawn across the street beforehand. It's housed in these stunning red brick buildings (where soldiers used to live in wartime) that make for some spectacular photos. From the marvelous front of house (shout out bubbly Meredith & kind Jackie) to the excellent service (shout out to Johana or Jo who was like one of the best servers we've ever had to the point of being memorable...perfectly personable without a hint of pretentiousness, warm, accommodating, and really knowledgeable about the finer points of the meal). We were lucky that Top Chef Season 21: Wisconsin 4th place finisher & Co-Head Chef Laura Ozyilmaz happened to be in the kitchen that day as we got her to sign a photo that we took with her last year. (I LOVE TOP CHEF so this was really cool!). She's so unbelievably down to earth friendly and passionate about her food. This would all be nothing without the FOOD. Last year we got the tasting menu and we got it again! It was a perfect blend of it's greatest hits and all new food we haven't tried before. The only things that were repeated from last year were the Fattoush Salad with crispy cucumbers, juicy flavorful heirloom tomatoes (WOW), sweet apricots, parsley, crispy pita croutons, candied walnuts, and tangy pomegranate molasses dressing (so perfectly balanced with amazing texture...a recurring theme throughout the meal) and the memorable Breaking Bread which should be renamed Breaking Bad because I think their Chubby Pita (hands down the best I've ever had) is laced with Walter White's crack or something man b/c it's soooo good. Accompanying the puffy pita is the best and smoothest hummus I've ever had, something called Muhammara which is a delicious, sweet roasted red pepper spread with walnuts, smoked yogurt (another WOW), punchy olives, and refreshing pickles. Welcome snacks included something called Sabzi (very herbacious and floral), an amazing Octopus Panipuri with Mint Chutney, and Mussels stuffed with rice. No misses here...everything is distinctive, exploding with flavor, and delights with various textures. Next came a crunchy Kibbeh with either curried lamb or beef (I forget)...it came with a Tahini sauce with a smiley face dollop of balsamic. =) This was followed up with a delightful carob pasta with pork shoulder...the flavor on this dish wasn't like an explosion per se and was more muted compared to the other dishes but it was hearty and reminded me of a good Italian ragout dish. It was still excellent and a delightful contrast to the rest of the meal. Then came the highlight and star of the show: a completely succulent, I-don't-need-teeth-to-chew pork collar which was impossibly fatty and unctuous and tender, accompanied by this appropriately tangy pomegranate sauce that got back on the flavor bomb.com train. What came with it was a complete surprise. I forget what the Turkish name of the dish was but it was like a Rice Wellington! The fragrant rice inside was flavored with dill and sweet Turkish Apricots and was baked inside this perfectly crunchy, flaky, buttery puff pastry...another WOW dish I've never had before and bet you haven't either! We also ordered a side of the crispy buttery Persian Tahdig rice that we enjoyed so much last year but that didn't come with the tasting menu this year (order it if it's not on the Tasting Menu). Dessert was the unique sticky Turkish Ice Cream that we remembered so fondly from last year and craved again since, a refreshing and not-too-sweet Strawberry Jasmine Sorbet, Sesame "Halva", and a chocolate cake with honeycomb ice cream. Everything on the menu is unique, creative, whimsical, rooted in Chef Sayat's Turkish, Greek, Armenian, Jewish, Persian, and Arabic (!) heritage, flavor bomb.com, and simple food elevated to something memorable.

We ordered drinks and a little bit of everything…read more From the breakin bread, to octopus, to beet salad, to the lamb shoulder, fish, chicken and a couple of desserts. My top favorite has to be the breaking bread, octopus and the black ink pasta. Everything was tasty and perfectly portioned for family style. The desserts were amazing, baklava, chocolate cake and the chocolate tart. Everything was perfectly sweet, meaning not too sweet. :) Got here early and got to walk around and watch the sunset after a full belly.

I honestly felt pretty healthy overall cause I was eating hella veggies and everything tasted so fresh. The kunafa was good we got it crispy and was yummy imo but was a lil oily (I think this is normal tho). Arab food isn't really spicy but it is spiced and very herbal which I felt in the food here, I appreciate that chili sauce is provided for the spice lovers. Overall, would highly recommend. It was about $100ish for everything and they recently increased their prices but tbh the portion sizes are huge and I feel like it is so worth it we had hella leftovers. My guy ordered this and thought it was average. 3/5 LAMB SHISH KEBAB WRAP ~ this was my dish. I ate one half of the wrap and it only held two cubes of lamb meat. The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor! I'll have to add something to it when I eat the rest of this wrap at home. 2.5/5 HALF ROASTED CHICKEN AND RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish. It needed more sumac. This tasted like plain roasted chicken. Maybe it needs more seasoning while marinating. It wasn't dry, so that's a relief. Rice was ok and it wasn't dry or soggy. 3.5 We've been spoiled and have had better food in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Nothing stood out for any of us. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Sadly, probably won't be back.

My new favorite dip is the Mercimek Kofte which is a red lentil based chunky dip ; I would've guessed garbanzo bean based dip. The Haydari dip was also super addictive, a thick creamy dip made of kefir cheese and Greek yogurt. So many delicious but gut healthy items of the combo plate; which comes with thin lavash bread. Also loved the red lentil soup, which was warming on a rainy day. I thought it was flavorful without being overly spiced or too thick. My husband enjoyed the lamb kebabs. Tender juicy cuts of lamb that were well seasoned , comes on a bed of salad and rice. We also liked the charred red peppers and onions on the kebab . We ordered the combo plate which came with a lot of Pita bread, definitely enough to share among 4 people. Dishes came with a big helping of hummus too. I personally got the Kofte Kebab which filled me up. I had enough to bring home for lunch the next day. Getting a frozen yogurt at Easy Breezy is a must afterwards!!

Of course a Greek emphasis, but lots of intersection with my Croatian-American culinary heart! The smelts are fishy in a good way, nice crunch, texture, tang of lemon, & sharpness of garlic spread. Very difficult to find, never mind getting it right. The octopus & stuffed calamari were the right texture, seasoning, & flowing with olive oil. Finished with some greens. What a treat! Pro-tip: get the smelts, be bold. My wife raved about her moussaka. Artisan. Nice hint of cloves, right amount of yogurt béchamel. The lamb, beef, eggplant (not watery), & potato all stood out. My sons loved their salmon & chicken. I sampled and confirmed. My bronzino was FANTASTIC. This one was big & better quality than I usually buy. I got it with bones, head, & skin. Poured on olive oil, more salt, & garlic. Yeah, gotta use the hands, chew...graciously pulling out the bones, looking as civilized as possible. Folks, this is Mediterranean: a great fish should be eaten like this. Crisp skin, get the meat from the cheeks & head. Again: emphasis on olive oil mixed with fish juices from bones & lemon! We were stuffed and shared a Baklava. Nobody does it better. Except James Bond, 007, but in a different context. 2 glasses of wine & 2 Shirley Temples for kids. The service was excellent. Attentive. We were in the back & it wasn't loud. Classy servers & classy people enjoying themselves. Oh: great portions too. $407, including 20% tip. Great value for what you get. We've come here for special occasions. They've strengthened the bond, we'll be back more often. So reminiscent of what I eat in Croatia when I visit. Thank you Hellas!
