Stopped by here and had a great meal. The chicken kebab wrap was fresh and full of vegetables. It went perfect with their spicy sauce and yogurt sauce. Hot and cool action. very filling wrap! The garlic fries were crispy and fragrant. I would have liked to see pieces of garlic though. Make it even punchier. The ayran yogurt drink was tart and refreshing. Very creamy. The food at this Turkish restaurant is fantastic and service was fast and generous. I really enjoyed the muhammara with the appetizers plate. Even the quality of basic items like hummus and falafel and rice were above par. The restaurant was pretty empty when I ate here, so it's safe to say that this great place is being slept on. The dolmas were super fresh, not too tart, and the dill yogurt was a great complement! The lentil soup was smooth and satisfying, not grainy or overly oniony. The musakka had a very balanced red sauce, simple and clean flavors, with a refreshing side of salad and flavored rice. We ordered a falafel wrap that came with a tzatziki sauce but pairing it with the dill yogurt was even better! The falafel was fresh, fluffy, and not dry or gritty like most interpretations. Really like my Shish Combo with tasty rice, salad and hummus with pita bread. The chicken is tender, the beef is cooked well, but still soft & delicious. The falafel is also very tasty. Has great flavor. Tasted a bit like there's pickle juice in it. We like it a lot! I especially like the brightness of it. The chicken wrap is also good tho I prefer the Shish Combo plate more because of the variety of flavors and ingredients. Can't wait to come back and try other things on their menu. It's hard to leave a review that could even explain the flavors and merriment my mouth is experiencing right now. I love the food, the staff is attentive and focused on their guests. My favorite go to is the "combo appetizer". The lamb chops are deliciously seasoned. The real hit was the delicious Turkish rice pudding that hit the spot. Staff were so sweet and hospitable. Within a 5-7 minute driving distance from Arguello and Fulton. First time here for lunch today and they impressed me and my friend. All the food was delicious and perfectly prepared. And the restaurant had a nice casual elegance to it. We started with hummus and falafels. Yeah... sounds typical for Mediterranean food, but these blew our socks off! - The hummus was perfectly seasoned, with a generous drizzle of fragrant olive oil. The pita bread served with it was perfectly toasty and crunchy on one side, but pillowy soft on the other side. I've never had pita bread toasted only one side like this before, but it is now my favorite. The hummus makes me now not want to buy any of the grocery store pre-packaged versions ever again. I had to force myself to stop eating to save room for the other dishes. - The falafels were crunchy on the outside, not at all greasy, and tender on the inside. The flavor was spot on. I eat Mediterranean food regularly, and I've accepted either too greasy and/or too dry on the inside as standard. I didn't know it could be made with the inside so tender. We then split the Golden Mix Grill (for 1). I wanted to try different meats but we just couldn't see us needing the for-2 size. There was plenty enough for my friend and I to share, especially after we already gorged on the apps. All the grilled meats were well-seasoned with delicious spices and herbs coming through. Great food, good portions, at reasonable prices - I can't wait to try more dishes on my next visit or delivery order soon! read more

What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday night and were blown away. We started with the falafel and baba ganoush--both were delicious. The falafel was a standout: perfectly crispy and not at all dry. For our mains, I had the chicken shish kebab plate and my husband had the chicken gyro; both came with fluffy rice, a fresh Greek salad, and plenty of pita for dipping. We will definitely be back.
