Loved it! Been waiting for a new Persian restaurant to grace our city. We really enjoyed their appetizers , koobideh, and above all, their yummy desserts. Service that makes to feel right at home and sentimental touches that truly highlight culture. Looking forward to coming back and trying every item on the menu!

Being Persian, I am a tough critic. I think Delam is by far the best Persian restaurant in the city. Starting with their tea infused with saffron and rose water, all the way to their homemade Persian ice cream and baklava. The service was great, the owner is so funny and kind, and the restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend checking out this spot. I'll be bringing my mom here when she visits so she can experience Delam as well.

Seating that makes me feel like I'm at a fancy aunties place.

Delam is Persian for "my heart" and it's often used like a term of endearment or to express deep emotion or longing. This all checks out because I have been LONGING for more Persian food in the city and I'm so excited to have a good new Persian restaurant in the mission. Stumbled upon this place by accident (I feel like I should have been notified) and was so pleasantly surprised. The Koobideh (ground beef skewers) is definitely their strength and it's some of the best I've had in SF. The Kashkouli Bademjan (smoked eggplant appetizer) hit the spot. Textures and flavors exactly where they're supposed to be. Terrific ambiance that feels comfortable and warm, like visiting family. Speaking of which, the family that owns the restaurant has long ties to the mission and works hard to make this place feel hospitable and welcoming. This place hasn't gotten much press or word of mouth yet because it just opened last week but it's inevitable (I hope). Definitely check it out.

Newest Iranian food in the city. I was really impressed by the chicken skewer plate. I would rank it top tier. The tahdik is highly recommended, especially with one of the stews as topping, I wouldn't get it just by itself. The kashke bademjan was also very tasty.

Great new Persian spot in Valencia. Flavorful kabobs, fragrant saffron rice, and really friendly service. Cozy vibe, good prices, and solid portions. Definitely worth stopping by if you're craving Persian food.

Delam is hands down the best Persian restaurant in San Francisco. After searching for authentic Persian food for a long time and trying every option in the city, nothing compares to this place. The quality is incredible, the flavors are authentic, and the customer service is excellent. We ordered takeout, and the kabobs were still amazing even after reheating -- something that rarely happens. The Barg was outstanding (and I'm not even someone who typically likes Barg). The rice, yogurt, and every side dish we tried were all perfectly prepared and tasted truly authentic. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. If the service was this good for a to-go order, I can only imagine how great the dine-in experience will be. Absolutely my new go-to Persian restaurant in San Francisco. Highly recommend!

The beef kebab is insanely flavorful. The eggplant dip was also delicious. Super friendly service and a family vibe. I will definitely be back.

Amazing food and service. Ingredients were so fresh. Baba ghanoush and filet mignon kabobs, saffron rice and Shirazi cucumber salad. Simply beautiful space and experience.

Oh, this place is truly one of the best persian l've ever known in the bay area. Every time l'm in the area, I make sure to come here because the food is consistently amazing and they have unbelievable selection of wines! I've tried the most of their menu -- all absolutely delicious. Their appetizers are incredible as well, Everything is so flavorful and fresh. I've also been here for dinner, and the portions are very generous - honestly, one order can easily be shared by two people. The staff is always extremely kind and wonderful, and they always seem to have a full, attentive team who make the experience even better. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants and wine bars I can recommend to anyone. The food is amazing, the service is top notch, and the ambience is absolutely beautiful Highly recommended!

This restaurant is amazing. Everything was delicious from start to finish. We originally were going to another restaurant and they had a wait list. So we walked down the street and passed by an Indian restaurant that had zero customers. Not a good sign. So we continued on and noticed this restaurant. Busy, but not crowded. It was a Persian restaurant. We all decided to try it. The service was warm and friendly. We ordered the eggplant spread. It was delicious. I love anything with eggplant. Phil and I ordered the slow cooked chicken in grounded walnut stew. This was AMAZING! I've never tried anything like this and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken fell of the bone. The flavor of the stew was a tad sweet and very savory. I honestly couldn't get enough. The entree came with a side of rice and salad which rounded out for a proper dinner. Now normally I don't order dessert. I don't have a sweet tooth. But I will if the meal was excellent and ours was. They only have 2 desserts. Baklava and saffron ice cream. The Baklava was delightful. 2 small round pieces drizzled with honey. The saffron ice cream was....AMAZING!!! Not too sweet, creamy, and chef's kiss on the unique flavor. We all loved it! Just 2 small scoops with a few nuts on top. We ordered the cardamom tea. Perfect ending to a lovely dinner. Let's not forget the lovely owner. I didnt catch her name. But she was a delight to converse with. So sweet and charming. So if you are ever in San Francisco check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Tried this newly opened Persian restaurant in SF after catching a show nearby. We made a 9 PM reservation on a Saturday expecting it to be busy, but were surprised to find we were the only guests dining at that time. The host/waiter was warm and welcoming. We ordered the multi-mazeh appetizer and, based on his recommendation, tried their top three kabob dishes. The Barg was definitely the standout--tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dishes were nicely decorated overall, though the appetizers were just okay. However loved their mast-o-musir and they brought us complimentary Kashk bademjoon which was delicious. We didn't order any alcoholic drinks, but overall we had a pleasant experience. The average cost came to about $65 per person, which felt a bit on the higher side. Still, we genuinely enjoyed the friendly service and the chance to meet the owner and his son. We'll definitely come back to try more items on the menu--hopefully once they get a little busier!

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

The high top tables were a bit wobbly, so we spilled half a drink on there. The drinks are strong. I recommend going upstairs to sit instead if you want to hear your friends better. The tables are bigger up there too. The rooftop was closed off but I'd like to check it out sometime.

The marinated artichokes were good, not amazing, but a large portion and pleasant enough. I wish they had more veggies or a salad option. The seats are not comfortable, this is not a place to come and relax with a book. The parklet seating is nicely sheltered from the breeze, but can be noisy. The music, outdoor setting, and service are all good. Flatbread was lovely and soft when hot, hardens to a crispy cracker when it cools. The Woody's sparkling N.A. rosé was a bit flat (flavor wise). The people were laughing, the drinks were flowing. It smelled really good, which we would later find out was from the food especially that Mac and cheese. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese.
