Better than Halal Guys: I LOVE the homemade sauces here Right on Castro, seats line the window and faces the street Super fast casual, comfortable and clean. Could accommodate group well. Very friendly and attentive. You can tell they're proud to serve the food and work there. Delicious gyro plates and wraps. They do fries as well. Will definitely return if in the area or order on DoorDash!

On one of the corners in the Castro, the most delicious falafel and seasoned fries await to be experienced! Last weekend I went into the City to visit some friends and stopped in here for lunch. This restaurant has a neighborhood hangout cozy vibe to it, with about five or so tables and countertop seating. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. And I HAD to order the falafel sandwich with fries again because two Octobers ago they were SO delicious! I enjoyed a HUGE meal while also enjoying watching the neighborhood buzz on the street outside as I dined from a countertop.

A delicious midnight meal if you ever find yourself needing one. The simple 3 meat dish over rice was full of flavor. Most of my experiences with late night meals are not always favorable but this place is different and was the perfect amount of food. The service was also great, food was brought quick and staff was friendly upon arrival. 10/10 would definitely visit again.

Omg! This lamb skewer is so delicious! I was just in the mood for the meat. The staff are happy, friendly & helpful. I have a fractured left arm & needed help getting the meat off the skewers so I ask EDWIN, to help me, & he just to it. These guys have such a great welcoming, & happy attitude. The place is clean, well lit & pleasant. They serve a full bar of wine & spirits.

Delicious food, very well priced. I didn't want a whole wrap so I simply told them I wanted just the gyro meat and tzatziki sauce. We also had a Greek salad. Great value and hit the spot!

I needed something quick and fast for I had an event to go to on Van Ness Ave. I have seen this Gryo Xpress in Castro for a long time, but never ate in here. Order is on the kiosk. I at night it was a quiet evening. I sat by the counter over looking the street below people watching. The food came in good time and the server brought my food to me. There were a few diners inside. I enjoyed my beef and lamb gryo.

They were pretty nicely busy on a Sunday night but we didn't have to wait too long for our food which was nice. While we were waiting though, we saw an order of the fries that looked super yummy and had to order one. The food was all super delicious. : German Style Beef Lamb Gyro Gemuse: The German Style Gemuse I was nicely flavored with goat cheese, fresh and sundried tomatoes. The first bite I took was pretty heavenly. The plate was also pretty yummy but I prefer the burger form. Fries: We also appreciated the fries which tasted freshly fried. They had a nice density to them and the outside had a nice thicker layer which I didn't expect but was still delicious. Baklava: Their baklava also looked beautiful so we had to try one. We got their cold baklava which was sort of milky at the bottom and flaky on top with pistachio filling in the center. It was really delicious and not too sweet and would highly recommend. I will definitely come back to try their other menu items!

I ordered via delivery, the…read moredolma and the Adana kebab wrap about 30 minutes before closing, and I have to be honest, the experience didn't match the hype. The dolma were overly acidic, and I'm not talking about squeezing the lemon they included, this was baked into the filling itself. Four pieces for $9.95 also felt steep for what you get. The kebab wrap arrived on lavash when I ordered pita, which is a small but noticeable detail. The first few bites were underwhelming but I will say it redeemed itself toward the end. Got really juicy and the flavor came through in the last few bites. I'm left wondering if ordering close to closing affected the quality, or if this is just what to expect. Either way it didn't match the ratings for me. Maybe I'll give it another shot in person someday, but for now I'd explore other options first.

When we arrived at around 7:30 pm, there were tables available. It's a comfortable cafe-like restaurant with mural paintings on the wall. Service was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as the ambiance and waitstaff. ***OUR PICKS*** BEEF SHAWERMA ENTREE ~ the beef was overly salted, saffron rice was ok, hummus was really thick, like peanut butter. My guy ordered this and thought it was average. 3/5 LAMB SHISH KEBAB WRAP ~ this was my dish. I ate one half of the wrap and it only held two cubes of lamb meat. The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor! I'll have to add something to it when I eat the rest of this wrap at home. 2.5/5 HALF ROASTED CHICKEN AND RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish. It needed more sumac. This tasted like plain roasted chicken. Maybe it needs more seasoning while marinating. It wasn't dry, so that's a relief. Rice was ok and it wasn't dry or soggy. 3.5 We've been spoiled and have had better food in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Nothing stood out for any of us. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Sadly, probably won't be back.

The lamb korma had so much flavor, a little spice kick (loved it), and the chana dal was surprisingly good too. I hate any kind of beans but this was so good.
