Our HOA has a very nice entry that's some 30+ years old with nice lighting. Unfortunately, the…read morelighting was failing and had obsolete fixtures and other associated problems. We originally had a time-and-materials proposal from Handyman that could vary anywhere from about $2,100 to $3,400 which was within our budget. Robert came in and suggested he just give us a fixed price (with better fixtures) so there's no confusion. We were fine with that and were pleasantly surprised when his fixed price was at the very low end of the spread we expected. He also had to repair a broken underground line at no added charge and the outcome is better than the original. Robert was great to work with, a very nice guy, and very honest and forthcoming. If needed again, he's on speed dial. Thank, Robert!

Stellar service from Robert and Nathan. We needed a whole new panel upgrade in our 1962 house. In…read moretoday's life with so much more plugged in it just made sense. Robert was very helpful with answering our initial questions and understanding what we wanted. It did take a bit longer than I had thought, but the work is excellent! No more worries about hazards. Nathan is an excellent workman and we appreciate him answering our questions as well as helping us identify the breaker zones. I know that is always a challenge for homeowners. Kathy is in the background running the phones, texts and emails, an awesome job to you too! We would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work done. Worth the wait (our crazy schedule) and cost to have a job well done. Thank you all, we are so very happy!

We had Evergreen come out and give an estimate on some work we needed done. We agreed on the price…read moreand signed the contract. After starting the work, they stated they couldn't finish a generator switch unless we upgraded our entire electrical box at a 7500 cost. We decided not to finish the work and not move forward. We agreed to pay what work was done per the contract and get the rest of our deposit back. On our original signed contract it showed $0 dollars for one line item and then we get charged $200 additional outside the contract. Charging more than what the original contract stated is completely uncalled for and unethical. But the owner refuses to refund the $200 extra he charged outside the contract. The excuse we were told was for man hours, if man hours aren't included in the original contract, then they should maybe write their estimates differently to show that, because all this is showing is being dishonest and charging more than what was agreed on. They offered to rewrite the contract to show it that way but in all reality, that isn't our fault. We had a signed contract and they went outside of that. They basically expect the customer to pay for their mistake on the original estimate and signed contract. Also reading a few more reviews, this seems to be the norm for this company, so if you hire them, expect to pay more than the signed contract, even when no extra work was done.

Just over a year ago, October 2024, we had a Daikin split unit installed in our 250 sq foot space…read moreat a cost of over $11,000. I have not reviewed sooner because I don't like writing negative reviews because I know it can hurt a business but I also believe we have a responsibility to other consumers to share our experiences so they can make informed decisions. I was assured that this unit would IMPRESS but all it has done is disappoint. It does not heat or cool this VERY small space. Epic was called and came out twice only to tell me that it was working properly. We are faced with using space heaters, fans and a portable AC to find any relief from the cold and heat in the winter and summer, respectively. I just find it disappointing that more locally owned businesses don't stand behind their work or their product. Are we a society that focuses on greed and not quality? My message to those consumers who might be considering EPIC, would be to keep on looking, you'll thank me later.

Nearly a month passed while the errant part wended its way towards Epic. We endured sub-zero temperatures while playing musical space heaters to keep parts of the house warm without tripping breakers. We were promised our repair the Tuesday after Xmas. Epic managed to get the furnace repaired just before Xmas eve. Thanks for making our Xmas merry and WARM!!
