I found Noribar on UberEats. I really enjoyed the make your own Poke bowl with all of the options for base, fish, toppings, sauces. The raw fish is very fresh, even ordering on a Friday. I appreciate it when my food is presented with a flair, and it looked appetizing. Try the "Tuna Tartar". It is a ball of very red spicy tuna covered with thin slices of fresh avocado topped with wisps of fried onion and chunks of deep fried onion on the side. Prep time was quick too. Sushi could have been better, but the fact that it was open at all was a plus. I'll be real though... the reason this place is getting a 2-star review (up from the 1-star review I really want to leave) is because a particular gentleman continued to ask my friend questions about his disability while we were ordering the sushi at the cash register. At that point (since he wasn't getting the hint that the conversation was completely ill-mannered and awkward), I said extremely loudly, "THAT'S ENOUGH" while I was still placing my order! He then apologized, but whatever. The gentleman was not an employee or a guest, but was a friend of an employee. My friend, whom I love dearly, said the sushi was good. I was looking for a healthy alternative and chose a salad and was very disappointed that there are NO salad dressings available. I was also looking for Kale as an alternative to the 0 nutrient lettuce that is typically served. There are other options available and you should update your menu for 2019. So good! I tried the poki bowl and I've been ordering them since. It's so delicious and fresh, I can't get enough. The fish is all so good, so fresh. Such a nice generous serving size too. So me and my mother we were leaving a Verizon store looking for something to eat okay, it was a choice between a pizza place a couple blocks away or a sushi place a block away so we chose the sushi place, and while the food was okay, I had better sushi at regular joints but being this was a kosher sushi place I was being more lenient since many kosher sushi places aren't really the best. The fish itself is cut thick which is nice, it tasted fresh but the quality of the fish was good but the taste was eh, the ponzu sauce was too thick and sticky, it was if I was eating honey which on its own is no issue but if I wanted honey I would have asked for honey not ponzu sauce, it was too sweet, sticky, and barely salty or tart. They barely gave us enough soy sauce which was these 4 small Kikkoman soy sauce packets for like an order of 3 hand rolls and 2 orders of 8 rolls. The spicy mayo was meh, bland, and not spicy enough for my liking. The hand rolls were nice but again I would rather have gone to a regular sushi joint for that, rather then an kosher one. The customer service was lackluster at best and the cashier was a bit snarky. Honestly unless you either are following a strict kosher diet or are really hungry I would say avoid this, and even if you do keep kosher there are way better kosher places to go to such as Sushi-Tokyo. If you don't follow a kosher diet, just go to a regular sushi place, you would save a lot more money and you would enjoy yourself a lot more, my go to place is Sake-sushi for the all-you-can-eat buffet and even for buffet sushi, the quality and taste of the sushi there are leagues better than what you get here. I will say the aesthetic of the place is nice has that green Japanese vibe, has a red lantern lighting going on with grass green aesthetic, shares the color of tuna roll with wasabi and that fake grass separator they use in the to go box. I had the salmon avocado hand roll, the yellowtail avocado hand roll, and the cherry blossom hand roll. Mom had the spicy tuna roll, and the salmon avocado roll. Also no one who was working there except the guys preparing the food was wearing a mask, they didn't ask customers who came in to put on a mask, even though there was a sign asking people to wear a mask. This is by far the worst sushi place you'll come across. The people are rude. Customer service is non existent. If you like waiting 5 hours for your sushi. This is the place to go. I ordered 3 California Rolls for my 3 kids. They packed the 3 rolls onto 2 trays. This was surprising and inconvenient because I had to separate them onto 3 trays and the rolls were assembled poorly so they fell apart when I separated them. This place is open till 11:30 pm which is very good for a sushi spot. The pieces aren't bad at all once again it is kosher sushi.
