Normally I love shopping here. Prices are reasonable. During the holiday season the place was a mess. The reason for this review is the sale manager... she is beyond unprofessional... makes no eye contact at all. Apparently damaged products receive no additional discount, even if they are the last one. I found my mother a beautiful purse. Unfortunately the wallet was scratched and the stitching was coming out. When asking the cashier she called over the "sales manager" who said "we don't do additional discounts" without eye contact or even really looking at the product... I am very disappointed in the service today. And don't think I will return to this store. Good customer service is worth the extra money. read more

Is it just me or is the selection here super limited? I've been here three times in the last week and literally have walked out spending less then $25, which is unheard of for me. The bathrooms are super clean and the store is organized, which is nice. My only other major complaint is that there is also never enough employees at the cash wrap. Are you kidding? Only three stars? This is THE MOST organized Rack I've ever been to. It's the most clean, and the items are well placed. Customer service of course, is great. They treat you with the same attentiveness as if it were the regular Nordstrom. The reason the ratings aren't higher may be that.. The store is not big enough? Nah. I basically do all of my clothes shopping here. Also, I've been to a few other franchises and the feeling was gross, like being in a frenzied and messy TJ Max or Ross. The location is just okay. Found a few brands that I like such as Nike, joes, and a few Marc jacobs bag. Check out line can be long and overwhelming but the girl that rang me out was the sweetest. Got checked out by a young lady named Giselle and she helped with a few returns and also look up some items. Great customer service. Hope to find more items next time read more

I was looking for some sandals today, unfortunately I didn't find any that I liked but I did find a great pair of heels for 35$ that were originally almost 100$. This store has about 3-4 rows for each shoe size. This was my first time ever in a discount store and it would say it was pretty pleasant. This location is good in size. They have a wide variety of items and are always stocked up. Location is good too. My only complaint(if you can call it that) is that there aren't many "green shirts" (employees) walking around. At other locations you can purchase from any employee on the floor since they all carry a portable credit card machine, I've never seen that at this location and have a hard time getting assistance. read more

I will never return to this store. Was trying to make a purchase when the clerk, "Maria G, Register #4902" at the Temecula Nordstroms, started heavily pressuring me to get their nordstroms rewards program. I reluctantly agreed, not completely understanding what she was offering but then she suddenly wanted my checking account number, followed by my social security number. I asked why they needed the checking account number and the clerk said that basically Nordstroms makes a debit card for you linked to your checking account and then you earn Nordstroms bucks every time you made a purchase using their card linked which would then be linked to my checking account. I asked how much it would cost and she said nothing. I didn't understand why they needed my social security number but the clerk said it was necessary so they could identify me from my last 4 digits of my social security number the next time I was in the store buying something. So after much discussion trying to understand her reasoning and becoming exhausted with the process, I agreed to provide my entire social security number, after much pressure but still don't know why if all they needed was the last 4 of my social security number they didn't just ask the last 4 of my social security number if that's all they needed. I punched my number into their pin machine and then she handed me this long disclosure to sign. I didn't have my reading glasses with me so I asked her for a copy and she produced a large white book that was kept at the front of the counter and said all the disclosures were in there. The next thing I know the clerk is calling someone on the phone who then wants to talk to me. That lady on the phone then asked me to repeat my social security number out loud at the cashier register in front of everyone while I'm still trying to make my purchase. I refused to announce it in the store thinking to myself are you the crazy asking customers to say their social security numbers out loud in the middle of a busy store with all the identity theft out there. I agreed to whisper my account number into the phone and then I was asked my full address & my telephone number which I also had to day out loud. Suddenly I"m feeling like this is a full credit application. I'm trying to refinance my house in a few months, so the last thing I need is my credit pulled, but again I was assured by Maria that nordstrom s weren't pulling my credit. The next thing I know the lady says I'm sorry you can't have the card. I'd spent an extra 30 minutes at the cash register, still hadn't made my purchase, announced my personal information twice to Nordstrom's officials, who said this was a free card hooked up to my bank account, and now they said I can't have the card. I have perfect credit, which I guess if they'd pulled my actual credit, they'd know I have. After the fact she says they do some consumer check on me. I asked what was that, and why didn't she disclose that prior to trying to get me to sign up. She said they check to see if I have a phone, utilities, etc. which obviously I do. I own a house. I felt so duped by Nordstroms plus now they have my personal information including my social security number . After all of this I was so digusted by Nordstroms I left my purchases at the counter, which amounted to hundreds of dollars of purchases to Nordstroms, and walked away never to return. My daughter, my mother-in-law and my mother were with me and all went to make purchases which was combined was a good thousand dollars, and got the same hard push from nordstroms. We all left. Their loss. We use to spend thousands of dollars at this store, but no more. Don't waste your time going to this store. They are dishonest and pushy. There are plenty of other honest businesses out there that deserve the business. read more

While I always love a good deal, waiting in a 20 minute line is simply not worth it to me. Every time I enter this store the line is ridiculous. Most days I'll just walk out. Stores like this can be hit or miss but I usually find something I like at a great price here. In addition to the every day low prices, they always have a good amount of merchandise on clearance. I regularly find jewelry/acessories from Vince Camuto, Calvin Klein, & Lucky Brand. They randomly have great cosmetic finds...some of my favorites are Too Faced, Smashbox, NARS, Stila, & Urban Decay. They always have NYX in stock. The shoes can be priced a bit high for what I like to spend, but I have found some great clearance deals. They have a wide variety of sunglasses & so much to offer in the clothing department. The staff has always been helpful for me & although the checkout line can get long it always goes quickly. I always enjoy stopping in this store hoping to find a nice treasure for an awesome price! read more

Once again I left without buying. Yes, it was in hand this time but the line was so long and moving so slow I left without making my purchase. It was an over-priced pair of thongs anyway so saved some money but I'm just about to the point of not ever going again. Every time I'm there, the line is 15-20 deep and only a couple of people checking out. Not to mention the terrible selection, except the shoes. I personally love Nordstrom Stores. They have exceptional customer service. Sorry to say but this particular location disappointed me a very big time and worst rack store I have been to. I always buy stuff from nordstrom and unfortunately if it doesnt work I return to Nordstrom Rack stores. Its not this time but always they have changes in their policies. Not every person who helps there have same set of mind and policies. This time they didnt return few cosmetics( perfume and toner) as they told they dont accept returns on them. For the same, I called Nordstrom customer service and they said its never like this and you can return anything you want unless you have proof of purchase. The employees should understand taht When you are on the side of counter, you have to put yourself in customer shoes and then help. I hope they dont expect this kind of service from anyone else. If I could give zero stars for service I would! I walked into see that they had an extra 25% red tag and I said to my mom that I was just there and didn't get that and the gentleman at the front said they would give me a price adjustment if it was within 7 days. I thought that was very nice so I continued to shop. I go up to the register and Amanda was helping me and she said they no longer do price adjustments. I told her that the man told me if it was within 7 days they could do it and she told me that he was in LP and not on the sales floor (like I would know that or that it should matter). Rather than making an accommodation to a paying customer that was mislead, she continued to argue with me and told me that there was nothing she could do. I have shopped at Nordstrom all my life and have seen their customer service rapidly decrease over the years. I know the rack is held to different standards, but what harm would it have done to make a 1 time exception to a customer that spent over $300 with your store. Now I want to return everything I bought and never shop here again. read more

Can I go even lower than 1 star??? I go here occassionally when don't find the stuff that I need at Macy's, and of course, they carry a lot of name brands that macy's doesn't. Bad experience was when I tried returning a skirt that's way long, I bought like just a little over 30 days ago. I have the tag, not on, but skirt is obviously unworn, she inspected it inch by inch, acted like I'm some kind of a suspicious customer never worthy of any person's trust. She even turn to the cashier next to her, make me feel super uncomfortable, other customers are getting curious, make it short, I challenged her not to take the merchandise back, she did take it but it's a gift card refund. I'm disappointed cause a single trip here costs me at least $100, which I could have spent some other stores that doesn't have this crappy return policy. No damage, unworn deserves your money back. So let me say I love Nordstrom. I always drive down to San Diego or Orange County for their store. Since this Nordstrom rack is close il go to it because sometimes I find some good deals. The other day I went to return an item with all tags and the card I used. This dress I bought it at a Nordstrom store and I emailed online to Nordstrom to make sure it's no problem to return at Nordstrom rack. They said it was no problem just bring it in. So I went into Nordstrom rack with the dress and the cashier was rather rude. She made a scene about returning the dress even though I explained that I bought it at a Nordstrom store. Like she had to call someone and everything. Then pretty stuck up explained about their return policy is 90 days. I was just like I know I bought this dress at a Nordstrom store not here. She pursed her lips all mad and just threw the dress aside and finally gave a refund. She didn't even say have a great day or anything. What struck me was the fact she didn't even try to look at the item if it was damaged or anything. I don't think il be coming back here anytime soon, especially to return any items. I rather take the hour drive to a Nordstrom store. read more
