I LOVE a Nordstrom Rack. It's so useful in LIFE! I guess I am a person that goes through life changes (and also weight changes!) - perhaps more often that the usual person. It's been very handy and price friendly to upsize, downsize or whatever my size situation is and also like if I need different work clothes, casual clothes, or of course SHOES for any occasion! I love browsing in-store and online and I have been frequenting this particular location ever since moving to Denver a little over 3 years ago. Everyone is always friendly, and returns are a breeze. The parking is always ample and it is a nice spot for weekday retail therapy. I'm not really someone who enjoys picking through unorganized racks for that special find, but when I'm on a mission to find an affordable suit for a young man for a special event, it calls for stepping out of my comfort zone. Yes it was a slightly chaotic experience but the staff in both locations were very sweet And very helpful. You can't Determine if a different location has a different size on line in the Nordstrom Rack, their system is different than Nordstrom, but the staff can, and did, and found me what I needed, and even arranged for the right size to be held. Great staff! I had to witness a completely rude customer demand that she should be able to exchange a pair of shoes that the cashier not only verified was bought 8 months ago but was also clearly worn through that it was falling apart! I was actually glad to see the cashier deny her a refund or exchange and woman demanded to see a manager who unbelievably took this piece of crap pair of shoes back. The cashier Ivette was so sweet and energetic she acknowledged me and my little sister right away she complimented my name and the makeup palette I bought she was welcoming and made me feel good about my purchases. Terrible product. Both towel set claimed to be 100% cotton but had several large tags made from polyester. Tags had to be removed due to polyester allergy. To accomplish this I had to put on nitrile gloves and ripped the seams out ONLY to discover the stitching is also polyester! So much for fake advertising claiming to be 100% cotton. I spend so much money at the Rack. Today I went in to return a pair of pants that I received yesterday. I was at the store on Colorado Blvd in Denver. Monica who was handling my return, insisted loudly that I had worn the pants and was not willing to return them. All of the tags were attached and the box said it was delivered yesterday. She made such a scene and called someone over, who told her to return it. She looked at me and told me she will make a one time exception to return this item just once. I never even wore them. She made sure everyone in the store new and completely embarrased me. I guess we cannot easily return our online orders any longer. Its too bad. I love this place, designer items for a cheaper price. They also have comfortable brand shoes; I'm looking at you Clarks! The shoe aisles are a bit messy, but that's because of the patrons, not the staff -- I used to work at DSW and Payless, so I get the pain. Clean up after yourselves, you're adults. Yes, people complain that the lines are long at checkout, but all you have to do is NICELY ask a team member if they can do express checkout -- keep in mind you can only do cards via these kiosks. read more

This Nordstrom rack is dangerously close to my house! What I appreciate is the fact that this rack actually does have a good selection of items from the main line store. There are so many Nordstrom Racks now that have so many made for Nordstrom rack clothing lines that you're really no longer getting a good deal. Sort of like what's happening with the outlet malls. The whole point of these outlets used to be getting overstock and out of season or last season clothes from the main store. But they started getting so popular that the main stores couldn't supply the Outlets anymore. Hence full on brands and lines made specifically for the outlet. But I digress. The employees here are generally nice and helpful but please don't get into a full on conversation with them!! And I'm saying that as a fellow shopper standing in the atrocious line behind you! Even on weekdays the line can be long but I do appreciate that they have the separate return line still. Please please please keep that permanent! This store is pretty well organized. But as with most racks, you just have to be open to hunting for a treasure. read more

In the middle June , I have a gift card to a clerk at the register. There was a pretty large balance and the clerk forgot to give me a gift card with the remaining balance. Th manager of the store,Bobby Joyce., helped me get the balance and helped me purchase a purse from Nordstrom's. He was trusting, accommodating, and pleasant. He made my day. Nordstroms Rack at this location seemed very different from a few months ago I don't think I'll be shopping there again. The store looked cluttered. For some reason the clothes didn't appear in good condition. Perhaps there were too many on the racks to look tidy.I felt like I was in a clearance center. Save yourself parking $ and stress of parking at Cherry Creek Mall and, instead, get 'er done for less! I particularly like this Nordstrom Rack for their shoe selection, plus the fancy travel sized toiletries (Drybar dry shampoo? Shiseido facial products? I live in the area and come here from time to time just to see what they have. They have a huge variety of items, from home decor to cosmetics to shoes, coats, workout clothes, and regular clothes for both men and women, as well as formal dresses. Because it's an outlet store, their inventory changes fairly often. They have some great finds. Last time I was here, I saw a $348 cardigan marked down to $30, Nikes for $45, various brands of designer jeans for at least half of their regular price, and so forth. Everything is usually pretty well-organized, considering the sheer volume of both merchandise and customers at this location. I also once did a return here, after purchasing some boots from the Nordstrom Rack website that didn't work for me. I'm really disappointed in Nordstrom rack. I grew up in Seattle and always shopped at Nordstrom. They were known for excellent customer service. You could return or exchange anything. The new return policy is worse than goodwill. I bought two belts and the website said to buy your actual waist size. That was incorrect so now I'm out $90 because of the website. Holy. Yes! I don't know why, or how, I haven't been to Nordstrom Rack before! I mean truly, this could be a dangerous new discovery. + Designer names at huge discounts! We're talking Michael Korrs, UGG, Coach, Urban Decay, etc... at AMAZING prices. + Seriously though, the deals are just amazing! We're talking anywhere from 30% - 70% off of the suggested price. Sure sometimes the shoes may be last years style, or the makeup might be from a limited collection; but you just can't beat the prices! + Not only do they have clothes and a massive shoe section (swoon), but they have a cute seasonal/home decor section up front by the door. + All in all, the store is laid out fairly well and very clean. +/- Like everyone else in Denver, I was out the week before Christmas trying to wrap up my last minute shopping. With a checkout line 20 people deep you would think they would have more than 2 people working the registers. Oh well, 'tis the season! - If you find something you like, you just HAVE to buy it! Walking into this store is like walking into a teen's room. A vast variety of clothing and accessories blind you from every direction but unlike in a teen's room, everything is very organized and well placed. It's just an overwhelming amount of material to deal with. I would prefer a Nordstrom's Rack that's called, "This or That.'' You will need at least an hour to find your treasures. My trip lasted five minutes because the shoe racks were overwhelmingly crowded and there were no sneakers for my big feet. However, there is a steady stream of customers walking in and out with many bags and happy faces. A good place to stop if you like to shop. Overwhelming if you don't observe this compulsive habit and believe in simplicity and minimalism. read more

So, can I just say that I love Nordstrom Rack? I love walking around in $200 jeans that I only paid $50 for. My big complaint with places like this (as with TJ Maxx, Home Goods, etc.) is their bargain rack style organization. I do not enjoy sifting thru racks and racks of sale clothing to find the 1-2 items I might actually be interested in. It's definitely not someplace I would go if I was looking for something very specific, like "black rain boots", because inventory is so spotty. But if your goal is something more broad, such as "cropped jeans" or "more tee shirts", then The Rack is great for that! This location is fairly well organized though IMO the Flatirons location is best and Park Meadows is the worst. But, still...plan to spend some time here. Pros: - they recently reworked the checkout area so the line no longer snakes to the back of the store. - always great deals to be had if you have the patience to find them - Designer Row is the bomb, with fairly clear labels on those racks Cons: - a lot crammed in. Some sections are hard to move around in. - the women's shoe aisles are really, really narrow and, with carts left at the end of each aisle, bring lots of patience for other people all up in your space - dress area is particularly unorganized - wish there was a special section (or even just a rack) for men's tall sizes read more

I shop at the Cherry Creek Nordstrom Rack. I always find something there that I love! A very good selection of women's clothing at reasonable price for top quality merchandise. I have to say my favorite finds are in the lingerie dept. name brand bras in a variety of sizes and colors that you don't find elsewhere. Not Ross prices, but you pay a bit more for quality. On the down side, the lines can be long but honestly I have never waited longer than 10 minutes. I have found the associates to be courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. The lines look long but it's been my experience that they move at a reasonable pace and you're out faster then you think you'd be and with some great deals! To me it's an adventure! read more

I went in for an interview and there was a long line for check out and it was going smoothly when I first got there. It started out with four cashiers and then someone who I was under the impression was a manager stopped and just started fidgeting with some boxes and then just walked away after another employee had as I got pulled back for my interview. This place is an adventure. Like any adventure: sometimes it's a good experience and sometimes it isn't. I've had some really great times here with great finds like sweaters and purses that ring up for a penny. I've also had the worst most stereotypical experiences of "shopping while black" here. The parking lot is also a dangerous place. People outside of this store are just rude and in a hurry to get in and find their discount jeans (or whatever). I've almost been hit so many times and it's amazing that no one that shops here has figure out they're supposed to park INSIDE the lines. Came by this Nordstrom Rack location with my husband yesterday late afternoon/ early evening around 5:15 pm. The store wasn't crowded and the selection was pretty good. I was happy to see quite a few high end brands in the shoe department and just a small few in the handbag department (my 2 favorite departments). Clothing was neat and organized well for the most part, not on the floor or in bad condition (something you would expect from say Marshalls). Sales associates were visible on the floor and friendly. Woman's restroom upon visit was clean. Overall, a wonderful shopping experience. By the way, there is plenty of parking in the lot. And currently if you are a Nordstrom card holder, Sept 16- 20 is triple points shopping day. (If you forgot your Nordstrom card, any sales associate can look it up for you. Then you just have to show your ID). Also the next clear the rack sale is starting Oct 1 (through Oct 4). read more

This store (1505 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80222) is a dump! Their clothing section was impossible to navigate because more than 1/2 of it was thrown into tangled messes & piles on the floor! Their makeup selection sucks. Ghetto ass kids running around unsupervised. I got nailed in the head with a large object by some kid that was throwing s*** around the store while I was standing in line to check out. I turned around to see the mother of this child staring me down like she was just waiting for me to say something bad about her kid to fight. She said & did nothing! Right after that happened, I was done shopping here! Put my merch down & left without purchasing anything. Completely ruined my shopping experience! No one wants to shop in an environment that is unorganized & messy (couldn't push a shopping cart through most areas)...or where they get physically assaulted while shopping! You better tell your managers to be careful! This is a lawsuit just waiting to happen! read more

Great place to shop. They have a variety of brands, products and accessories and the prices are reasonable for high end goods. Lots of variety. This is one of the better shoe stores where you can find both men's and women's shoes at discount prices. There are not a lot of sales people to assist as you have in the Nordstrom's retail stores. Finally, they have a very efficient checkout system that lets you pay for the goods purchase without a long wait. read more

Anyone who knows me knows I love Nordstrom Rack. The one on Colorado Blvd. is the best one to go to as it has the most selection and is jam packed with inventory. I will say my trips here are really hit or miss; sometimes I'll walk away with a bag full of stuff, and other times I'll walk away without anything. I definitely have to be in the mood to shop here, and willing to dig through racks. I love that they have some of the same items you'd find in the regular Nordstrom, but way cheaper! Truth: I have bought some clothes at Nordstrom, only to find that the same item was at Nordstrom Rack for LESS. Stupid me. One thing is that this location does get crowded on the weekends, so it's not a super peaceful place to shop. But hey, it's shopping. Not exactly a peaceful activity in my opinion! read more

I was excited for this place to open, but since it has, I've been a little bummed. The selection is pretty good, pricing on certain things are ok (mens suits are literally a steal here!). Worst part, service. I know it's not a Nordstrom store, but almost every time I've been here the people who work here don't seem to care.
