The clothes are just lovely! I was so excited to visit and try-on some outfits, as I have not shopped there in several years. Staff prevented that from happening. I asked for help at the front desk and was handed off to someone who was obviously felt put upon to provide assistance. I wanted something dressy but not over the top frou frou, so she showed me outfits with black lace, sequins, floor length etc etc, and when I said no, too formal, she said, "Well, I guess we have nothing." But the shop has many lovely clothes, suitable for a party, a concert or the theater. So I went to Mariel, and they set me up in a dressing room and kept bringing clothes, many of which I bought. I was recently shopping at this boutique that I have supported many times over in the past. I purchased an expensive handbag, and once I brought it home and put some things in it, I realized it was too unsupported and wouldn't work for me. I got it back three days later to be told that, although they take refunds up to 14 days, handbags are excluded from that policy. They pointed out a sign on the opposite side of the cash register rather than in plain view. Additionally, I was told they have clients who spend a lot more money than I do, and they wouldn't make an exception for them either. The most disappointing part was that the women who, in the past, were so overly friendly and always seemed so happy to see me acting as they had never seen me before. A new employee was the only salesperson who was kind and trying to help navigate. The overall experience left me disappointed and frustrated. read more

It's always tricky translating the latest looks in Vogue into something you can wear on the Denver scene but they never fail to make you look fresh and beautiful. Garbarini rocks! Came here for their Spring Fashion Show & Customer Appreciation Party this month and had a blast! They closed the store down early at 5pm, and put out a red carpet and ropes for the guests to walk through. They even served endless champagne and hor d'oeuvres. All of the store staff was there, so there were plenty of people to help and give tailored fashion advice! It was a night to remember, and I will definitely be back! I absolutely love this boutique. They sell Nikolas K which is hard to find to say the least and they have a wide range of sizes. I'm an 8-10 and found three dresses for two weddings I had this winter. I'm also a huge fan of their jewelry collection which features the work of a talented local beadwork designer named Suzy Dooley. Her work is in magazines left and right and is very unique! I had a great experience with the service there even when I was dressed in workout gear as I have a tendency to do. They have amazing 50% sales in order to get old shipments sold and make room for the new. For Cherry Creek I found this to be the boutique I keep coming back to since its really not pretentious. The owner is usually there too so she cares about makes sales and community patronage. They also have monthly events like fashion shows where cute young ladies sport some of the latest trends from jeans to special occasion-ware they have something for everyone. read more

Hands down, Gabarini is the best boutique in Denver. Yes, a little pricey but one of the few places that you can find some really fantastic brands and unique clothes. They started out as a shoe store years ago and have expanded into clothes, thankfully, as they are very necessary for Denver. First, the good: - The store has a really sharp eye for this season's styles from a carefully curated selection of brands. Really, the overall mix is as strong as anything you'll find in LA or Soho. - The dedicated parking across the street is welcome in the cut throat parking world of Cherry Creek. So why only two stars? I was SO EXCITED to have this store recommended by a few friends; I cleared my schedule and made the trek to Cherry Creek on Sunday afternoon. And I left totally bummed. - In my 30 minutes browsing, not a single employee spoke to me (aside from the gal who handed me the parking pass, and it was 2 unenthusiastic sentences). I'd been led to believe that there was an awesome team who would help assemble outfits and figure out unexpected pieces that fit your personal style...I was ready to buy at least 2-3 outfits. But no one could be bothered. They were, however, thoroughly engrossed in what was apparently the most elaborate latte order ever assembled. So, you know, priorities. - I spent 30 minutes going through rack after rack of size 2, 4, and XS gorgeous clothing. I'm not a twig. In the real world, I'd be solidly average. In this store, I'm apparently a monster. Seriously, it sucked that they didn't have a single item that would fit me, in the ENTIRE store, across ANY brand. Nicole Miller, Vince, Rag & Bone - I have no problem finding items the fit at Nordstrom (or online, more often, because Nordstrom only ever carries a fraction of the collection, which is why I was looking forward to Garbarini). - The combination of the two above points made for a really bad experience. Maybe they have other sizes in the back. Maybe they can order my size. I'll never know, since no one would actually speak to me unless I went up to awkwardly ask for larger sizes (and seriously, how uncomfortable to need to proactively point out I'm not a size 4? What if the answer was "sorry, no, we only cater to the tiniest of humans who have no hips"?) Great eye for trends, great brands, but I really hate stores (and magazines, etc) that feel fashion is only for one specific "type". And I have no patience for retail experiences totally lacking in customer service basics. read more

I'd like to give Garbarini a great review, but I can't - the store has beautiful and trendy clothing for women who love to dress well. Garbarini also has great shoes and handbags. My problem is primarily with the service which I've found to be lacking (once I came in and one of the sales person didn't bother to "get up" from her chair to help me - ?). Also, I'm a size 8-10 and I usually have a hard time finding much there in my size - lots of 2's and 4's though so if you tiny you might have better luck than me. read more

Don't shop at the Garbarini Boutique in Cherry Creek. We parked in thier parking lot across the street and planned on grabbing a cup of coffee at the coffee shop right there then crossing the street to go into the store. Apparently you must sprint into the store, grab a permit and sprint back to your car or it'll be towed. They say it's posted but I assure you its not posted that you have only moments to get into the store and get back to your car as they have a consistent flow of tow trucks coming to empty the parking lot. We were in line at the coffee shop (less than 5 minutes) and my car was towed. They had to of started hooking it up litterally as we turned the corner. To top it off, the towing company scratched the crap out of the front of my new 2016 Cadillac ATS-V and charged me $280 to get it out. My wife talked to the workers at the store about it and they "explained" the process and said we shouldn't have an issue next time. There will be no next time. read more

I love Garbarini, the best sales team on earth, they are not commissioned so you get an honest opinion when you try on something that works only in your imagination...and then they will select a better option for you. Every sales person has an actual career here, unheard of in retail. Julie is my go to but I enjoy everyone there, all have a great sense of style and are true professionals. The clothes are great-(BTW, best jeans in town) you can find high style or quality casual items. It is also the best gift and shoe store in the city! Go, get dressed already! read more

I could not (and unfortunately will not) trust their opinion after they to me I looked good in size 0, 2, and 4 dresses from the same designer, and it was pretty obvious the size 0 was way too small. Carly is very friendly and personable, however, her colleague seems to have a permanent scowl on her face, doesn't listen, interrupts and the minute she doesn't think she's going to get a sale, treats you like dirt. I stopped into this shop looking for a dress to wear to an upcoming wedding, after having looked everywhere in the mall and online. I was immediately greeted by friendly faces and the woman who helped me promptly started pulling dresses when I told her the occasion. I tried on one dress that wasn't all that flattering (which the associate and I both agreed on) and she pulled another dress by the same designer in a different cut. The dress fit perfect and it was something I probably wouldn't have picked out on my own. Overall it was a great experience and in the future I'll be going here first when looking for a dress! read more

I agree with the other posters that say they have a great selection of merchandise. I always find something in there that I would like to have and I have made purchases, much to the dismay of my bank account. However, I have walked into the store a number of times and no one has even said hello. The last time I was there, only 1 other person was shopping in the store and trying things on. There were 4 sales associates doing various tasks and NONE of them even looked at me. So, I will not be shopping at Garbarini's again. All of their brands can be found at other stores in Cherry Creek and other stores around Denver. At much better prices as well! Just because you sell expensive clothes does not mean you can be snobby and pretentious! Will not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I've been in here numerous times and have the same experience every time! While there is a nice and very current/stylish selection of clothing and accessories (at a price), the salespeople who work here are unbearable! They are very pretentious (really? You're a clothing salesperson?!) and constantly bug and hover over you while you are shopping. You can't just come into this place to have a look, browse, check out a blouse or two, it turns into such a process! I'm done trying. Nordstrom has some of the same merchandise and the salespeople are way more friendly and welcoming, like they actually would like you to buy something and something that works for you. read more

I just bought a bag here, and after 24 hours the material shows wear. I called and the blonde lady refused to help me or take it back, and then I showed up to show her and she talked to me briefly and said she was sorry, but she was with a customer. What kind of business treats their customers like this? And what kind of business doesn't stand behind their product. Inventory here is good, but the customer service is pitiful. After experiencing this many times, the final straw was this week in the dressing room. I was about to try on my last item (a shirt) and a saleswoman approached the dressing room and said "knock knock" since it's a curtain rather than a door. I responded yes I'm in here, so the person would know the room was occupied. She proceeded to open the curtain. I had no shirt on, so I covered myself, completely shocked. She said "oh it's just me" and I responded with "I don't know you". She said "what's wrong" and I asked her to leave as I was uncomfortable she was in my room as I was not clothed. She proceeded to stand there and said "this is what I do" before finally leaving. I put on my clothes and walked out of the dressing room and told her it was inappropriate to treat customers that way and that dressing rooms are supposed to be private. She said "this is my job" and "I'm sorry you feel that way". The staff is inappropriate and uninformed about their inventory. Needless to say I will not be returning to this store. read more
