I haven't been into freebird since they moved to this new location, however I'm so glad that I stopped by. While running errands, my husband and I popped in so I could try on some boots. I really wish I could remember the really helpful associate that helped me, but she didn't give me her name (she showed me the Darcy's and I also ended up getting those boots as one of my pairs). Anywho, I tried on a few pairs and ultimately settled with two different pairs of boots (one short boot and a bootie). I really love the quality of Freebird shoes and love how they come wrapped with the fleece shoe covers. I cannot wait for my other boots to be sent to me but this was a really great shopping experience. I didn't feel rushed and the sales associate took her time when helping me. Also, I really love how their boots here are all handmade, which makes each pair super unique and absolutely worth the price. Beautiful boots and fantastic service So glad Freebird is no longer in the CC mall...they now have a location on second avenue and the space is beautiful and displays their handmade boots well. I went in to look at colors for an online exchange. I immediately let Zoe who greeted me that I was there for looking and not purchasing. Most sales personnel would have become unhelpful at that point. Zoe was exceptionally helpful and ended up offering to handle the exchange for me so I could save a trip to UPS. Had a "pretty woman" vibe when I went in. They helped the better dressed people, the ones who looked like they had $$ to spend first. There were 3 styles of boots I wanted. Ended up just buying 1 pair due to the amount of time that it took the staff to help me. I was in the store for 25 minutes before I got help. Would have left at the 30 min mark. I love the boots themselves. Went home and ordered the other 2 pair online without having to deal with the mean girl crowd. read more

I get there an was welcomed with a very warm "Hello!" and the ability to search privately before approached. I then found what I needed and was greeted by a crew member's bright and polite "Can I help you find anything in particular? I love, love, love Steve Madden shoes. I didn't know about Freebird until a few months ago, when I randomly found the Salt Lake City store. Even then, I didn't know it was a Steve Madden sideline until just before arriving in Denver. So excited! Once we had a lull in our schedule, we headed off to the Cherry Creek to meet "the Flock." My friend was along for the ride; she didn't intend to buy anything. All told, I ended up with two pair of boots, and my friend got the first (and only) pair she tried on. Every member of the Flock was very kind, and super helpful. I did not intend to buy to pair of boots, but good humored staff and quality products can persuade me to spend some cash. Even better, once they realized we were traveling, the Flock offered to ship our boots for free. I could not have asked for a better experience, and have absolutely no doubt I will add to my collection. And if I get back to Denver, a visit to this store is a must. read more

Katie was so accommodating!! She helped with anything we needed. I swear we tried on almost every boot in the store this morning and she was there to help us every step of the way. She asked if we need help adjusting them, lacing them and just overall had top notch service! She's the sweetest! I wish we could visit her more!
