I am not even remotely happy with the way I was treated by the Denver Colorado store employee that just picked up the phone. I'm trying to get an update on shipping. I placed an order on the 21st. I received the rest of my order but then there's one pair of shoes that's assigned to Denver the package arrived from Denver, but the shoes were missing. I was told it was assigned to Brooklyn the whole entire time even though I was emailed that it was assigned to Denver now to the employee. The woman who picked up the phone. Was saltier than a chip! How I am supposed to know how to find my order? Am I David Blaine here to entertain you? Now, rather than having a main warehouse each individual store ships out, which does nothing but create chaos. So this pitbull of an employee with a gigantic chip on her shoulder, was nasty and unapologetic. No no empathy. I was treated nose in the air uppity. I have spent 2k with them in the last two months. I am finding out the hard way that there are some bad employees in a good store. I spoke to an employee there today about 20 minutes ago. I have never complained about anything Fluevog. This tells me there is someone not really appreciative of her job. read more

The service and management at this store are unacceptable. I recently bought a pair of Fluevogs and realized afterward that I had purchased the wrong style--matte black instead of patent leather. I kept the shoes in the box with the receipt and returned six weeks later. Yes, this was outside the return window, but I was only asking for an exchange for the same shoe in a different finish. I live an hour from the store and getting there in traffic is difficult. The staff said they couldn't do it but would check with the manager. The manager later refused. It's an unreasonable policy and a terrible customer experience. I won't be buying from this store again, and I'll make sure others know how poorly they handle situations like this. It's a shame, because I genuinely love Fluevogs - but I won't be purchasing another pair, ever. read more

Been wanting some Fleuvogs for awhile and apparently I have to be on vacation to finally go into a shop instead of just crossing the bay any time I want and perusing their SF shops...SMH. The shop is lovely, the shoes are beautiful, and I ended up with a pair I adore. I will say, though, that I was very uncomfortable as the only customer (along with the teen boy...well 18 so I guess adult teen boy?) because both of the store staff literally just stared at us as we wandered around the store. Not staring like "what are you doing here?" but staring like "I'm bored, you're the only new things to look at, we want to be of service when you're ready, so we're just going to watch you look at every single shoe." Please find something else to do to distract yourselves, gentlemen. You greeted me and asked if you could be of service - I know where to find you when I need help - now skeedaddle. Once I did find the pair I wanted to try, it was, of course, very good customer service. Anyway, I need to do a test and check out the stores in SF to see if it's the same. But back to the shoes....as I said, I love them, they're beautiful, and they're extremely comfortable. read more

super cool and eccentric collection! the clerk, Vinny, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the designers collaborations. He even painted a boot on the wall for pride month ‍. I LOVE FLUEVOGS!! I have 16 pairs. I've been to 6 different stores around the USA & Canada & the Denver Store is my favorite. John is super helpful & the staff is the friendliest of all the stores I've been to. You must own at least one pair! They're SATAN resistant too! I ride scooters and they are safe shoes to ride in, even some of the heeled shoes, because of the wider bottom. I get compliments all the time & frequently run into other Fluevog fans. It's like a family of like-minded people. Highly recommend. read more

I'm a bit hard to fit, and Fluevogs can vary significantly from style to style, so it's not unusual for me to try on several sizes in the same style. This store is more like an art gallery with pieces you can actually afford than a shoe store. Stop in often to admire shoes designed in the style of 1920's furniture, or custom made to suit Alice Cooper's peculiar tastes. Velvet, leather, wood, & rubber, every material somehow works together to create magic. Now here's the unbelievable part -- it's art you can actually wear. And I don't mean, like, for 5 minutes while you stare at yourself in the mirror. These shoes wear in beautifully and become more comfortable each time they touch your feet. I own two pairs, one heel and one boot, that currently clock in still comfortable at 3 and 6 miles respectively, so says the fitbit, and the leather is just beginning to shape to my feet. The customer service is also spectacular. A true 5 star experience in every respect. read more

I am so excited to have found this store. I usually get my shoes at the flight ship store in Vancouver BC. I can always find a pair or two of these gorgeous hand craft shoes on sale, and yes I did at this their newest store in the US. I don't normally expect a salesperson to be so well prepared, educated, and caring. I went into Fluevog's just took see what bizarre, genre breaking shoe they came up with this season (size 16 extra wide men's heels anyone?) To my surprise Austen was more than willing to humor me and practically pull out every shoe in the store from the back that fit. She went out of the way to make sure I was treated like a person, not a customer. Wow. And yet there is more to say. The shoes are art for your feet and besides being absolutely gorgeous, the shoes actually feel great on my feet - even the witchy-toed ones I purchased. I also appreciated the staff member, Brandon, who was full of information, attentive, but not pushy. He happily brought out shoes for me to try on in my size, encouraged me to try on pairs I may not have considered (but were in my size) and all around made the experience a pleasure. I didn't end up making my purchase that first night and admired his ability not to let that dampen his cheer. He was right there the next day and without reminding him, went to the back and brought out MY shoes, let me try them on again and happily accommodated my request to split the bill between two payment options. Most of my shoe wardrobe is based on John Fluevog's shoes. Man, he has a great eye for design! I am so pleased that he is expanding to the US, but we came to Vancouver just to see his signature shop.
