Sterre is one of my favorite spots to shop. There's a thoughtful and curated selection of on trend pieces including jewelery! Danielle, the owner, has such a great eye and its obvious she puts a lot of care into what she sells. There are a lot of casual, every day pieces that are stylish and also clothes you can wear to a nice dinner. I recently purchased a pair of wide leg jeans and get so many compliments. Sterre had an accessible price point too - think $80-120 denim, $50-80 sweaters. I can always find something here! read more

Sterre means stars in Dutch which is where the owner is from and stepping into Sterre is like stepping into a boutique off a canal in Amsterdam or on a side street in Paris or maybe just east of the Bowery in NYC. The clothes are stylish and beautifully presented and there's a white wooden and steel shelving system that's so chic I took a picture of it and showed a carpenter friend of mine to see if he could make something similar for my apartment. I haven't purchased anything from Sterre yet but I've been there about nine different times when my sister has purchased things, lots of things, and she's always left beaming. So wonderful to have a boutique like this in this neighborhood and surrounded by other awesome businesses. If you are shopping for a stylish woman of any age, then this is the place to go. read more

I love this boutique so very much! The shop owner is warm and wonderful and clearly has a great eye for choosing great pieces. The clothes are current and fresh while still being affordable. There is a super cool jewelry selection as well and I have stopped by a number of times when I need a great gift because I can always find something fantastic! A favorite fun boutique! I was visiting Denver two weeks ago and was so delighted with Sterre! I could have purchased everything in the store! I walked out with two blouses, my daughter found two beautiful sweaters, and my sister bought two pieces of jewelry, but honestly if I had more room in my suitcase, I could have gone crazy! The shop owner has a fabulous eye for buying and merchandising!! Utterly delighted! This a MUST when in Denver! I will definitely be back! read more

Love Sterre Denver! The first time I went into the store I was greeted by this tall blonde beauty with a mysterious accent... Danielle is her name & what a gracious store owner, happy to meet her new customers at Stanley. She's helpful, but not pushy - around for questions if you need her, but will step back and let you look through the store independently. The clothes are unique, fresh and hip. She has a nice eye for selecting cool things, from clothes, shoes, jewelry, bags and more! read more

My least favorite thing about boutique is that the minute you walk in the door the sales person on the floor jumps on your back and rides around the store with you pressuring you to buy things that don't look good on you just to meet their sales numbers for the day! When I walked in to Sterre it was the exact opposite. The owner and main sales person on the floor is HONEST and isn't there to tell you something looks good on you when it does NOT! I am so happy that this store is in the Stanley Market Place and has become my GO TO boutique for all things and I know when I leave there I will actually wear the items i bought because i got an honest opinion. Located in Colfax where I grew up as a toddler, I have clear memories that I made with BBB Mart. They sell baby shower invitations, decorations, dolls and party favors. They have a range of leather belts, boots made of leather, shirts, Cologne, gold and silver chains and more. They have a traditional jewelry department where you can buy traditional holy bracelets for your kids, coming of age necklaces, and golden bracelets and hoop earrings. The atmosphere carries the Latino & Proud title and make the most to impress their fellow Latino consumer. I think this is one of the first and only good stores where you can get great deals on most Mexican leather boots though.

I NEVER found the several samples on the salesfloor again(!!!!)-- and THEN we would NOT get the shoes we requested in the first place!!!! Very unusual customer service, to say it lightly. She also repeatedly brought entire sizes bigger--with no verbal relay of this(!)-- (even if that was all that was available) which is horrible to an 83 year old female-- Obviously these were not(!!) to fit at all and a total waste of everyone's time. I never saw again the ONE particular shoe i asked for 3 times.. I think she hid the sample for good. We won't be returning. I think this was our salesperson's goal.

The place is MASSIVE!! Lots going on everywhere. TONS of plants and there are even random fake plants which was funny to me for some reason! They also have a boutique selection of retail merch which was interesting to browse and it also seemed like there was a farmers market and freezer section! It's a great place to go if you need a floral break and need to immerse yourself in colorful petals and greenery! The staff was super friendly and I really loved seeing so many plants that I had really never seen before! The giant cacti were also really cool - something I would save my pennies for! Our first trip was on an incredibly cold day - definitely winter vibes happening with all the festive booths and snow on the ground. Our first stop was to enjoy warm mulled wine. As we have not been to Germany, this was a great time. The market was in a new location at the Auraria Campus / Tivoli Quad in Denver. The layout was really well done, with lots of areas for dining, shopping, games, indoor eating area, a massive holiday tree and even a carousel. Admission is free but parking isn't, so definitely plan for that. We had a blast watching the glass blowing demonstrations, eating brats, sauerkraut and German sausages. We had pastries and gingerbread men also. Shopping booths (40 or so) were spread out and offered so many holiday items. along with glass ornaments, nesting dolls, beer steins and other unique items. There were lots of green space and games to keep folks busy as they ate, took a break or just enjoyed the day while others shopped. Inside the tent, there was also live music and areas to sit down and enjoy your meal on those cold days. Servers were super friendly, helpful and generally in a great mood. We definitely spent some money, but nothing more than you'd expect for a holiday market. We're looking forward to this market next year!

I do think it was a little bit better this year in the Tivoli quad. It just felt more spread out, and it was more on paved foot paths than the mostly uneven grass at the park. They decorate everything so festively and the giant mega tree is always fun and it was easier to get into this year as well to see from the underside. This year, even though we came late in the season, we were able to score a commemorative mug so that was cool for me. Most of the vendors are very nice and accommodating even though it's very very busy. I had an amazing pretzel this year and even more amazing cinnamon sugar almonds. The prices are high for most things, but that's kind of to be expected for this type of market. And there are some pretty unique things that are worth paying a little bit more for. All in all, I'll probably be back again next year, even though I don't even live in Denver.

That led us to Anna, at checkout. She was as nice as could be, packed our plants into manageable cardboard forms so we could get everything easily into my car. My entire experience was friendly and helpful. These are just good folks who deserve our business - and likely yours.

I will be purchasing any more from this family nursery. And that makes me feel bad, but if they cannot back up their product, I cannot justify providing them with my business.
