The customer service here is some of the worst I have experienced in a while. Every employee…read moresomehow is super unfriendly. They do not acknowledge you. I had to wait 20 minutes just to check out because they would not stop chit chatting or listen to me when I was trying to get their attention. They are also extremely rude to you if you do not come back to pick up clothing as soon as they are done with them. Never once have I seen anyone working there smiling. I feel like their buying prices are not that bad. The pricing for used clothes can be quite steep though. This place is something else. The fact that they took Carhartt, but then didn't take any of my barely used Nordstrom clothing... It is quite laughable to me. I bet they would take Shein clothing and then mark it up more than it is new online. I also do have a tough time finding clothing that I do like here. For not being a thrift store and supposedly a consignment shop you would think they would have more high-end brands. Maybe you'll have better luck than me. But I don't think I can walk in here again and to deal with their staff anymore.

To my surprise, maurice's had a wonderful array of trendy clothing from the moment i hit the first rack. Their brand jeans are for the younger mature lady and cut very favorably. These are not your daughter's jeans with sizes from 2-20 and styles with jeggings to straight. Fall will re- introduce the flare (YES PLEASE!!!) Eventually I made my way to the sales rack (natch) where i grabbed up some cute t-shirts and hoodies at $9.95 ea and jeans at $14.95. Fabulous (end of season) deals available! I may have left with a few extra outfits at a very good price! The sales staff are friendly and helpful (they'll set you up with a dressing room ala Ann Taylor) and the fitting rooms and sales floor were clean and kept in order (this was a busy Saturday mind you). So I'm panicking and sweating as I didn't want to drag him to a mall. I decided to check out this store as I do love their styles and hoped they had a suit. Alfreda greeted me and I explained I needed a suit, preferable two buttons and single breasted. I think I took her by surprise as I was that specific. But she walked me over to a suit - I believe it's the only one they have in the store - and it was two buttons and single breasted. What are the odds? She selected my sizes and led me to a fitting room. I love their fitting room area. It's plush and fancy with comfortable chairs the gentlemen can wait in. Carpeting on the floors so our feet don't touch cold tile. Alfreda asked if I would come out so they could see how it looked and i said of course as I wanted him to see it. I said a prayer and tried on the smaller size pants. A little snug. So I tried on the larger size. It fit! Put on the jacket in the matching size and looked in the mirror. Looked like it would work so I went outside so he could give me his opinion. He actually liked it! I was so relieved. Alfreda said i looked nice in it and so I was sold. Alana rang me up as Alfreda had another customer and we were talking about why I needed such a specific style. When she heard I would need a white button up shirt to be able to wear a tie with it, she said she had a style to show me that someone had returned in a larger size. It was cute. Cut in a little at the sides to show off your figure instead of simply hanging loose. I tried it and they suggested I order it in the same size as the suit. And the best part? They ship it to me free of charge! It would take a week but it would save me from running around. What could be even better than all of this? I received a discount for my purchase amount being above $100. Both ladies were so nice and made me feel appreciated and beautiful. All the stress of finding the perfect matching suit for the event gone. Definitely recommend.

They steamed everything for me so all I had to do was take it out of the bag and wear it. That was so appreciated as I also had to get 5 kids dressed that day.
