I like ARC. They don't take the good stuff and auction it online. I mostly wander around thrift stores to get my steps in. But occasionally, I have a mission. I was looking for quirky bookends and a speaker dock. Oddly, there wasn't a single pair of bookends, quirky or otherwise. But I found a Bose speaker dock! Both the remote and the outlet plug were missing. But I am nothing if not persistent. I searched through two boxes of cords and plugs, and found the missing plug. Did not find the remote. It's not an infrequent occurrence that the plugs get separated from the appliance. Sometimes they are even priced, although this plug was not. Someone had deliberately removed it from the dock, which was all taped up, and thrown the cord into the box. Perhaps they intended to grab the speaker later, idk. Things are often cheaper on Saturdays. The employees here are very nice and helpful. The store is clean and organized. And the speaker dock works perfectly! I have been shopping at this ARC for years. Kind of my home-base thrift store. Lately, I have noticed a change in some personnel and a definite change of attitude. A new employee who I had never seen before (long black curly hair) was very aggressive toward me, cashiers acting a little strange. I am not sure what is going on. Over the years I have never had a problem there. The prices are now very high and apparently as I learned from an employee, theft is an extreme and ongoing problem. My happy place is becoming my anxiety place. No good. I actually notice a much more pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff at the ARC on Dry Creek, so it is something going on with this particular store. read more

There is a lady that has a serious attitude problem at this store. She does in fact have long curly black hair. She was quick to tell me how I was not allowed to take the carts outside and that I should have read that it was all over the store. I didn't even try to take it. I just walked towards the dorm with it and she continued to grill me over it. I have also seen her yell at customers they return policy is crap. They did not tell me that it was going to be stored credit until I came to return things the next day I had taken them home to try them on so now I am stuck with two dresses they couldn't find on my receipt that didn't fit and a store credit I didn't want. read more

I only come here on a Saturday for half priced items and it's still a struggle. I love that there's a thrift store smack dab in the middle of the burbs but lately the prices are a little out of hand, even on half priced days. $15 for a blouse from JCPenney? No thanks. Clientele is a mixed bag of people shopping for themselves, resellers and everything in between. Staff is friendly enough if you can flag someone down. read more

Prices are super high here definitely not what you would expect from a thrift store. People go to thrift stores so they can get a good deal. Also, as someone who regularly donates to the arc, it's discouraging to see that they are price gouging, especially for those in need who are trying to shop for their family and for those who are experiencing the pain of inflation. I've been disappointed nearly every time I come to this arc and I likely won't be returning. There are much better Arcs, especially a newer one right down the road that has much better deals and better service. read more

Is this the most beautiful place you'll ever shop? No. Does it do the job? Absolutely. I was dismayed to move here and find out most of the Goodwills here don't have fitting rooms. This makes it basically useless to me as 1. pants never fit me even when I do try them on 2. they only offer store credit for returns. I asked on nextdoor what is a girl to do and a few people mentioned ARC has fitting rooms. Hooray! This store is fairly large and has a great selection of clothes AND FITTING ROOMS. They have aisles of home goods as well but I was mostly focused on finding some sweaters and jackets on this visit. Will definitely head back and probably try out other ARC locations as well. read more

i was given 10 yrs of community service. as since the arc is so close, i opted to to help them out. when i arrived i was on speaker phone with my probation officer while i was speaking to the supervisor Gwen. i asked for a good email to the arc and instantly relayed the email address to my PO. after 2 minutes my PO called me stating the arc email address was not correct, but she did send papers to my email and problem was solved. i explained that i had to send paperwork through my email because you (Gwen) had given me a wrong email. she blew up on me accusing me of being a liar and not willing to acknowledge any thing i had to say. Fast forward and 3 days later i was signed in on the time lock at 2:45. after working my shift conflict free working outside until 6:45, i walked up to the front asking the supervisor "Gwen" to please sign me out. she refused and now i have a open time card without allowing me to sign out. this is a vindictive behavior that i believe is fuel by race hate. i have called other arcs and have received info that she in fact does have authoritiy and is responsible to sign me out. this is colorado law, so i am now calling the police. very sad and unfortunate to have to waste the laws time because of one selfish attitude and gross mishandling of power. As far as cleanliness and organization, this location is good on both counts. Their pricing on books a quite steep considering that other Arc Thrift Locations color code their labels across the store so you can get an extra discount on items with the color of the day. This location doesn't extend the color coding discount to their books. Paying close to retail for books at a thrift is not a bargain and that's why I docked stars from this location. Staff wasn't overly friendly but not rude either. Just meh... They're happy to see you but they're also not itching to kick you out of the door. Some sections have stuff that's just junky (like the stuff in the plastic bags) but if you're patient and you do some digging you can find two or three borderline good things. I'll only go back here again if I'm absolutely desperate. There are other Arc locations with a better variety of products to choose from. read more

Nice size thrift store with plenty of items to purchase. Has various selections and nice prices. On Saturday they offer 50% off most items. Has clean restrooms and fitting rooms to try on clothes. Nice to enjoy but customer service was average. Make sure to request bag at checkout as they don't offer and it will cost 10 cents per bag also. ENJOY! read more

I've been shopping at this particular location for probably 15 years. I have not only donated everything and anything I have to this location. I've spent thousands collecting some incredible items. I am a collector- not a reseller. Tonight I stopped in and found two items- one was an old radio- without a price tag. Anytime in the past that I come across something without a tag- the manager does their best to provide a price offer at the register.. if it's reasonable- I'll accept. If not- no big deal. I found this particular radio on eBay listed for $20-40 bucks.. nothing super rare or high end.. just cool. The lady- that I assume was a manager came to the register and discussed a fair price. Part of the radio doesn't work and is a little beat up. She offered $20 which I thought was fair considering condition. That is when this woman working down the register lane comes over and inserts an unwanted and unwarranted opinion.. she says to the manager- "she'll probably just resell it for more" .. or something along those lines. I responded with, "I'm a collector- and I don't resell things- but even if I did I don't think that is anyone's business if I am spending my money here." This woman raised her voice at me and says, " OH YOUR WHOLE VIBE IS JUST AWFUL." Excuse me?! I asked what her name was, she got loud again and said "Tell them my name is Nicki." Oh I will. You're loud- you're beyond disrespectful and rude and no one asked for your input to begin with. For any employee to treat a customer this way is asinine. Hopefully The Arc does away with her. I'm a home hospice nurse- I do my fair share of giving back to our community- I've never been treated with such disrespect. Yuck. I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere until this person is gone. read more

Wow what a selection in this store. I haven't seen a movie second this robust since Blockbuster video. The books section had something for everyone. Electronics was a bit hit and miss on quality. It's a shame that the video games need to be locked up so no one steals them, but it's a necessary annoyance. This thrift store is far more than the big name National thrift stores. read more

This is honestly a pretty good thrift shop for the area. It's easy to get to, and they have A LOT of inventory. A lot of the shoe options are questionable, but they have a pretty good selection of furniture and clothing. The staff is extraordinarily nice and helpful. You have to wait to buy jewelry (they rely on the cashiers to come and help you), and they wait and stand there while you're picking out your items. Additionally, they take your choices and put them behind the counter for when you check out. I understand the fear of theft, but the jewelry is run-of-the-mill and I didn't quite get why they were so paranoid about a $5 necklace. But it beats the local Goodwill with their selections and my mother-in-law always enjoys spending four hours combing through everything. I have found Loft, TOMS, Micheal Kors, and other brand names amongst the crowded mix of items. If you're looking for a shopping adventure, I would recommend ARC. read more

I had no idea this Arc was here until I saw one of those guys waving a sign (hey they work!). This one is great for books and other media. They really have a huge book section, some vinyl (although it is a lot of Perry Como type stuff), and lots of movies and what not. Fair amount of holiday decorations and of course the racks and racks of clothes. I found a perfect lamp (complete with base, shade and a bulb!) for $7.99. 50% off on Saturdays!! This is my favorite thrift store the one on E ILIFF. ! I can always find a good or great deal here. The employees are pleasant and work hard. You'll have to spend time sifting through things as well as dealing with the dust, so be sure to take your allergy meds (smile). read more

Can I give it a 0 star? They were moving racks around and rest made it impossible to look at ANY of the children's clothing. When I mentioned it to the cashier, telling her that I'd likely have spent another 20 dollars had I been able you look at the kids clothes, she said " oh well, they waited as long as they could, we have to get out of here" keep in mind they started moving the racks at 5 and they close at 6. Then when I put my chipped debit card into the slot, she ran it as credit, telling me that their system was incapable of running it as a debit. How then does the chip make my card more secure at your store Told her I'd stick to the ARC in my neighborhood, she told me to do whatever makes me happy read more

Great place for shopping clothes, the choice of shoes could be better. The prices are a bit high on certain items but if you come on Saturday, almost everything is 50% off. I thrifted a few nice things to use as props for photography projects. The workers are friendly, and the store is clean and organized. read more

A newer store, well laid out and full of one of a kind treasures. Like all Arc locations the selection will vary as will the savings. This is a great ARC store! Nice location, clean and room to walk between aisles. I found a lot of great finds here- many still with new tags. Vast selection at incredibly reasonable prices (many around $3-8). There is also a SteinMart and Uptown Cheapskate consignment store across the street so the trip is worth your while! read more

Pricing of merchandise keeps getting higher and higher each week quickly approaching almost retail for used products. Over the last several months shopping the arc thrift store has become more and more disappointing, with the pricing continuing to climb weekly. Everything is priced double with anticipation of it going half price on the Saturday sale. This means that everyone who shops during the week is paying double the price. The clerks all tell you to come back on Saturday because it will be half price. This is anotherer example of false advertisement... half price of what? A price that they fictitiously made up with anticipation of what its real price should be for a fake one day sale. They could actually raise more money and turn more product if it was priced correctly for a great values I suggest going to the other two thrift stores just a few blocks away... they're much more fair about their pricing structure . read more
