This is by far one of my favorite vintage shops I have visited in the USA. I travel across the country every few years and go thrifting and vintage shopping along the way when I can and I was blown away! The selection and organization is beyond good! There were so many gorgeous dresses and pant sets to choose from and they even had a wall of the cutest vintage shoes! What put the cherry on top was the co owner! He was the sweetest person ever and was so lovely to talk to and even let me change into a gorgeous caftan I bought because I mistakenly wore a 70s poly pant set out in 80 degree weather I was a little bummed my favorite set couldnt fit so I had to put that one back for the next person! I couldn't wait to visit this store. I walked in and just like that I was back in the 70's and I'm loving it. Walking through this store and looking at all the decor and merchandise took me back in time. So much to look at and not enough time. So groovy baby! I was looking to sell some vintage clothing and I came to the right place. The owner purchased a few pieces of vintage clothes from me and I was appreciative of the prices he offered. He offered cash at a lower rate and an in store credit for a little more. This is a great place to find costumes for all occasions. The prices are so reasonable to purchase vintage items. Depending on the item you are looking for some like, props might be more costly. Stop by and browse you might find a great Halloween costume. There is also a dressing room if you need one. This place was interesting. It had clothes starting in the 30's all the way up to the 2000's. It is a small shop and crammed full of clothes so be careful. They even had wedding dresses and vintage Hawaiian lei's. We saw tons of beautiful garments but I'm obese and my daughter was too tall for a lot of it. Which again, not bashing the store or anything. Obesity is a modern problem and same with taller females. And that's ok. I loved some of the hats but I don't have anything to wear with them. Up front, there are baubles and barrettes behind glass. The owner was really friendly and was willing to let us try stuff on. My daughter fell in love with a dress but it was just too short for her. If you're small/medium height and build, I'm sure you can find something you fall in love with. read more

I spent about an hour in this store! Just flipping through the clothes on the racks and looking at all the things on the wall. I had so much fun. I knocked off a star due to the lack of lighting in there. It was pretty dark in some areas and made it difficult to really look at the garments. read more

Don't waste your time trying to go here. I have attempted to shop here 8 separate times and they have always been closed. Their hours are weird and inconsistent, they say they are open from 11-6 online but their door says 12-5. I have tried different days different times I have sat at their door waiting for 20 minutes and nothing. Don't waste your time there are better thrift stores. read more

I would estimate that 90% of my dresses have been bought from James, the owner of Regal Vintage. They used to be right in my neighborhood, but have moved to a bigger and better space down on S. Broadway. So, of course, once they reopened I had to check it out. I love this place. Sigh. They have tons of selection from the 20s to the 90s for guys and girls. The have old school lunch boxes, awesomely unique earrings, VHS tapes of the best of SNL in the 70s. I want to move all their stuff to my closet and have costume parties everyday. Can you say stuffed? Literally, this adorable yet tiny space is packed to the brim with amazing things from all decades past to amuse you for a fully hour or two. But that's just it - it's a small space with a lot of stuff, making it difficult to maneuver the store sometimes. Especially when there were two people trying to look in the same aisle. Even though it's tight in there, I really wouldn't even consider that a down fall as it's that entertaining. Not only can you find just about anything from the 60's on - they've also organized it pretty well making it easy to navigate through the dense collection of clothes, jewelry, costumes, shoes, and more. My favorite part had to be the room off to the side suited for the children. It was like taking a walk into to the past into your bedroom growing up, especially if you were a kid of the '70s or '80s. Think Star Wars lunchboxes, Teddy Ruckspin, and even the dancing California raisins! Man, blast from the past for sure. If anything, this is an excellent store to have a little fun in! read more

Holy shirts and pants! I have a few favorite vintage stores in Dallas, but I gotta say this paradise in Denver is goooooooooooooold! You know you are gonna love a place when you drive up to see a mannequin outside wearing something that you would totally buy. That mannie was lucky to be wearing anything by the time Tiffany and I left the store. Just sayin', An explosion of color welcomes you as you walk in. Look to the left to find a wall of shoes just dying to be tried on. Ruby slippers, yeller stilettos, neon green flats, and awesometown boots of every shade sit on the cluttered shelves. I could get lost in this store. Racks and racks of old school flavor fill the space showcasing every color and decade under the sun. I found an awesome blue cape for only $65!, a few jumpsuits (you have to love a one-sy), Jordache flared jeans, a gang load of clutches and handbags, and way way more. Okay I will tell you what else... ...silver glittery sunglasses in the shape of a flame, granny glasses with and without lenses, a black and red stripped pencil skirt, a pile of belts, old school aprons (love 'em), hawt ass dudewear, furniture (in the back), vintage Playboys (I collect them myself), and my bed... because I am moving into the store. Just kidding. Maybe. For all you clotheshorses with kiddos, Regal also carries kiddie costumes, toys and fashion. The employees are super nice to boot. The owner hung our new-old dresses up after finding out that we had a while to go before heading back home. How nice! read more

So I was on my way to Flossy McGrews to look for a costume for a class project. Lo and behold, it no longer exists... Luckily Regal Vintage was just down the block and never having been there thought I would give it a shot. So glad I did! I went in and explained what I was looking for and they totally helped me and were so friendly! I tried on lots of different things and they actually had lots of different sizes to accommodate all kinds of people and the label descriptions were awesome. Prices ranged, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I finally settled on a dress and it is perfect! I will totally be back! Also love the friendly cat! read more

This is one of the better curated vintage/thrift shops I have been to. They have everything from ski onesies to leather jackets to jewelry! I was out halloween shopping with my GF and we were looking for some things for her costume. She scored a really sweet cowboy-ish belt buckle. On top of that she also picked up some very rad 80's ski pants to go with a jacket she already has. The perfect gaper day outfit! While browsing I found some really nice band t-shirts (though not any Iron Maiden ones I was looking for). Some really sweet Circus Circus 80's casino hats, and I don't know what else. It was all very well curated and LOTS of it. Totally worth the drop in, never know what you will find!! read more

A friend and I hit up a bunch of vintage stores in one day, and this was by far our favorite. Granted I only walked away with a pair of new (old) glasses frames, I will definitely be back to buy lots over time. The owner was delightful and engaged us in conversation. He even recommended his favorite place to get vintage frames filled. The whole place is divided by decades, 1890-1990's. While a lot of the items are costumey, there are also a lot of great pieces that will work their way into my daily wardrobe. Tons of accessories. It is definitely cramped, but I'd rather have the larger selection, than larger walking room. Also, their place is covered in signs reminding you that you can re-sell the items back to them! read more

When I walked into the shop, I was drawn to the hair flower pins, wide necklace accessories, earrings, bracelets that range from mod to 80's, belts, stickers for notebooks and the stunning variety of vintage wear. They have a great selection of western wear, leather, fur(faux and vintage fur) and 90's throwback wear. The owner James gave me stellar advice on how to properly take care of the vintage item I bought. Not only that, he helped me style the item and knew the knowledge of true vintage wear. While the selection is nice at this store I was not impressed with how they treat customers. I've purchased items at this store two other times and spend quite a bit of money. Today my son went in and purchased some items for a photo shoot he has next week. He spent several hundred dollars. He's a teenager and had forgotten about an insurance payment he has to make as I reminded him at lunch. Thirty minutes after leaving the store I took him back in with receipt unworn merchandise tags still attached I explAined to the gentleman our situation and he refused a refund only agreeing to buy it back for thirty percent back. Refunded thirty bucks on a 100 dollar purchase! We're talking twenty minutes or so out of the store!!!! He showed no compassion and could care less we've spent hundreds of dollars in his store. Well that's just bad business and customer loyalty doesn't exist. While we would have been referring multiple other models to the store for the upcoming shoots we will not be and will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.! Hard lesson for my teen to swallow and still left store spending 300 bucks read more

I've been patronizing this storefront for years. The gentleman with the handlebar mustache has always been so accommodating and sweet. However, lots has changed at this place. I took my 14 year old daughter in for a shopping trip. A very very thin and small framed young lady, she tried on several items including a pretty fancy dress with a busted zipper. For obvious reasons, we chose not to purchase a damaged item and returned it to the front desk as requested. The NEW man working there began chiding her about the busted zipper, stating that "you shouldn't try things on that are clearly not your size. Now we can't even sell it to anyone. Etc" My daughter was humiliated and left with a scar on her self confidence that never would have been there before. This bitchy queen, with his own self image issues, spoke entirely inappropriately to not only a customer, but a sweet an lovely young lady. Not only that, but the gentleman with the mustache I spoke of earlier, joined in on this nasty behavior. Instead of maintaining his integrity and the integrity of he store, he leapt in on he bullying that I would think these guys would be so adamantly against. We will NOT be returning to this store. read more

Ah, Regal Vintage, you are pretty damn cool. I may not be cool enough to hang out with you though. Likes: - Fantastic jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, bags and some great 80's skirts. - High-fives for the way-in-the-far back-room with home dec stuff. Great vintage glassware, ashtrays, and a footstool I almost brought home. They seem to have an excessive amount of men's workout short shorts back there. More power to ya! - Owner was super friendly and called out to me from the back of the store before I even saw him. - If you're into graphic t's, there's a lot here if you're of the male persuasion. Or, if you're a gal who likes wearing big boxy t's. Dislikes: - This is a small thing, but I can't stand incense. Not only does it give me instant flashbacks to being 15, it also gives me an immediate throbbing pain in my skull. I probably would have stayed a lot longer and tried on some skirts if not for that fact. The next time I need a costume or a cool t, this will be my stop. Call them hatlets, caplets, fascinators or anything in between, I love me a vintage hat. Oh and vintage gloves. And shoes and clothes. And I love dressing up, be it themed or simply getting fancy. Holy majoley, the owner of Regal Vintage has impeccable taste! Every time I go into this store, I'm overwhelmed with the number of gorgeous items he has in the store. The other day, I spent 45 minutes in there just trying on hats and gloves. He's got stuff from virtually every decade and it's all fantastic. While I was there, I heard him talking to someone on the phone about buying clothes and he said, "As long as it's a unique or iconic piece of fashion from an era, I'll take it." This was said as he was standing under a row of glittery sequined dresses from just about every era. This isn't your run of the mill thrift shop. Now THIS is how vintage should be done! When I moved here from Dallas, most everything in my life improved (sorry Texas) except for the quality of vintage shops. I know I may get some negative vibes for saying this, but its hard to beat a good thrift/vintage store in Texas and Regal is the only place in Denver that even come close. The organization in this place is top notch for a genre of shopping that's usually synonymous with the aftermath of a nuclear Holocaust. Not only is clothing divided by type, but also by color and sometimes even size! You can tell the owner is one picky individual, with great taste and a flair for the funky, colorful and unusual (the best things about vintage shopping IMO). The clothing in here is just plain fun, but still oh so stylish. Not to mention that have a small but sensational selection of vintage furniture/decor, mostly of the mid-century modern design (*sigh*, my favorite). Everything is reasonably priced, and there is even a sale rack in the back. What more can I say? This place is truly the poster-child for quality vintage stores. Now if Denver had more vintage stores like this I would gladly relinquish the vintage crown to them (something to think about Denver, I know how much you hate Texas, so step up to the plate!) read more

I have listened to all my Yelpy friends and stopped by this Vintage store. Totally drove by it by accident - I guess I wasn't looking close enough. I walked in and was immediately in awe! All the cool selections of jeans, leather jackets, sequins, earrings, buttons, magnets, shoes, and so much more. The guys working were great and offered some smiles. I must have easily spent an hour or two looking at all the racks and shelves looking for some hidden gems. I did not walk out with clothes, however I did walk out with two retro headbands, magnet, and some really cute earrings. This seems a place that you could walk into every day and find something different everyday. Regal Vintage has totally found a believer in me. Regal Vintage is not a store...it's an experience. I dropped in on recommendation from a fellow Yelper to find some vintage ski clothes for Yelp's Ski School party, as I heard I could find exactly what I was looking for. Unlike Flossy McGrew's down the street, you might pass this place if you weren't looking for it-it's a pretty modest but charming storefront that blends in with its fellow Broadway shops. When I walked in I was greeted by a clerk who was in the vintage spirit-she was wearing a snazzy red dress that looked like it was from the late 40s/early 50s, with her hair pinned up in a style from the same period. That's when you know this woman knows her stuff when it comes to vintage. She pointed me towards the back, where this actually a dedicated ski/snow section. Awesome! Weaving your way through the store is an adventure, as they really pack in the clothes racks and they're wide enough for only person. But hey, that just means there's more stuff to choose from! I found some awesomely 80s ski pants and sweaters, all for super reasonable prices. At the front I picked up a pair of authentic multi-colored 80s shades to complete the outfit. I ended up looking great at the party, and got a lot of compliments on my outfit. Thanks Regal Vintage! I hope to see you again soon. read more

Go to Regal Vintage because you don't know what you may find, but it is usually there. Go because you can't resist that sequined shrug with the recycled pricetag that was once a Sara Michelle Gellar barbie doll box (seriously ingenious use of recycled goods)! Go because James, the owner, is a sweetheart. Always helpful, always makes you feel right at home. You will automatically appreciate his taste, and understand why he is so selective at what he chooses to sell. Unlike some vintage stores, you will have the easiest time finding exactly what you are looking for. Organization is key, and James gets it done! Go because no where else in Denver will you find such specific taxonomy of decade+look. For example, if you need that 60's Fillmore look, or 70's Rollergirl, you have come to the right place. The accessories are also plentiful and well-priced. Great place to find stuff for Jazzfest. You will get lots of compliments :o) read more

I love Regal Vintage. It's not necessarily neatly organized like Boss but the prices are hands down better than Boss. Sorry, but it's true. A pair of gloves cost me $6 at Regal Vintage; at boss, similar gloves cost closer to $20. I also think, as a whole, the vintage hats are better at Regal as are the dress sizes. read more

So, I had an ugly Xmas sweater party to go to so I thought I'll head on down to the Arc and see if I can find the bf and I great outfits. As I'm driving down Broadway I notice this vintage store that I have always wanted to go into. Turns out they had an ugly sweater on display on the sidewalk and I thought "Carpe Diem!" I entered this little gem and asked where the sweaters were. I found 2 great outfits: sweaters, turtlenecks, vests, pins, earrings, oh my! I went a little crazy but that is what you do at theme parties right?? Anyways, this store had a little bit of everything and I could not stop looking around. This place could dress you for every strange/fun occasion you have. I can't wait to go back! I was told that I was looking very festive at my party!! The clerk also told me that they have a buyback policy for either cash or store credit, which is really cool! However, I don't think I'll be parting with my plaid turtleneck anytime soon!! read more

Definitely make sure you leave yourself enough time to wander about the shop - there is so much to see and try on! I went here with my husband -in search of authentic 80's wear for his work party -and we were not disappointed. There was a plethora of incredible 80's prom dresses and I felt like I stepped back in time. My husband and I had looked at my prom pictures earlier that morning and the same dresses were right there on the racks! The pricing was very reasonable and they will even buy back your purchases less 30%. Not a bad deal. My husband had good luck scoring a bow tie and cummerbund in a shiny turquoise, an authentic 80's pin and replica sunglasses. I already had a dress but was tempted to buy a Dynasty inspired cocktail dress that was actually in my size. At $38 it was in mint condition. I wound up getting some replica jelly bracelets, some obnoxious big earrings, a lace hair tie, a $15 clutch purse and a lace covered bangle. My husband also got a pair of vintage cuff links. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore - be sure to check out the walls too. One tip to keep in mind is that this shop is crammed to the gills with goodness -the aisles are narrow so don't bring a large purse with you or you will end of knocking things over like I did! read more

Holy frock and a handbag I love this place. Every time I visit, I'm greeted with the smell of decades of frivolity via shoes, jewelry, hats, sunglasses, and garments galore. Gah... and let's not forget about the sneak peek of home decor in the back! I've found skirts and hats and pins romantically from the 30s and 40s as well as short dresses and sunglasses fit so perfect they'd make Edie Sedgwick swoon. James is always so friendly and especially helpful to vintage newbies overwhelmingly trying to find the perfect outfit for the night's costume party. Vintage describes this place perfectly. The entire time I perused this tightly compact store, I could hear in my head Huey Lewis' "Back in Time". I think somehow the owners of Regal Vintage acquired my closet from the 80's, either that or Zack Morris'. Much of the attire here consists of shirts, jackets, hats, sunglasses, VHS tapes, and jewelry spanning the 70's and 80's. It was a perfect spot to map out my halloween costume. Much more affordable than Flossy's just steps up the street, and with much better costumer service, the owner helped me compile randomness from the store to put together a rather "Freaks and Geeks" looking costume. I would even recommend this store to those beyond seeking costumes. I could find myself wearing a lot of this attire on just your average day. read more

As vintage shops go, this one is great!! They have everything. Cramped, hot and dusty, you will have to dig for your treasures. Trying on is difficult in teeny spaces, but if you persist you will find something awesome! How do I begin writing about my stellar experience at Regal Vintage? I wish I caught the employees' names there because I'd just love to shine a spotlight on the superb customer service here! I got myself a skull ear cuff. I was given pliers to clamp them on my cuff which I really appreciated. Next, a glass sea star for my friend's birthday coming up. They had an entire backroom filled with 90s clothes, including retro ski gear. The tutus hanging on the ceiling are something else as well. I'm coming back for a swimsuit that caught my eye.
