Casey was great to work with, as he took my inspiration photos and came up with different designs for me to choose from. We came up with what I ultimately wanted and loved his designs. In all he did about 8 different designs for me. The ring shown is what he made of my mom's rings and I absolutely love it. Again, 15 out of 5 stars. The customer service is akin to having known them for 20 years (which I have not). I've gotten several pieces from them (as I said before). I've had cleanings, repairs, new purchases, trade-ins... they are always upfront and explain the process and current "market" values of both gems and gold/silver, etc. Both the owner and his son are very knowledgeable. I'm a fact-checker in this day and age, and they are very honest. Most of my good jewelry is heirloom, and I would still trust no one else with it. Recently came to Master jewelers for my own wedding ring (re-tipping) and for to rebuild the whole head of my mother's ring after I broke it hitting it against something. I've been putting it off for years out of nervousness of trusting people to my mom's ring. I dealt directly with young owner. I say young only because his dad owned it prior, not denoting lack of experience. The prices seemed fair and timeline was reasonable. The rings looked great on pick up but there was a slight miscommunication on one thing about my ring. Owner quickly recognized it and was more than gracious to quickly and promptly attend to it. I've gone in 3xs, and every time they fix my jewelry and it breaks. Last time I went in they said they didn't do the work, the jeweler specifically said I can fix it with glue!!! Some other guy I've never met said no we didn't fix it. I have a receipt from them and he argued with me. Waste of money and he didn't credit me. They clearly can't fix jewelry. Plus per there comment, they did glue it because the gentleman that helped me said that was the cheapest way to fix. Arguing with customers isn't a good way to earn business!. Also a "favor" isnt when you pay or tell a customer you can fix something? Where that came from is left field! Additionally it wasn't an internet purchase? If you are going to argue, you may want to get your facts straight. I purchased it from the manufacturer and it's not "custom"?! . None the less- I won't be back and next time you may want to put it in writing and remember what you fix. Before using them, check out there reviews. the knot . Etc I think their response is funny! If you think you can't fix something, just tell your customer before you take money! 1- You glued it and the jeweler specifically said I will glue the clasp it's the cheapest way to fix! Never said it is something we don't usually do! 2 it isn't custom jewelry and it wasn't bought on line! 3 you haven't been able to fix one thing the first time and try to charge when I come back for you to fix it right 4 a favor isn't when you pay someone! Lastly your work is what is poor, know your facts before responding. Nothing you are saying makes any sense and another jeweler specifically said you glued it. Went here after seeing some of their men's rings at Celestial Bride. My fiance loved a couple of their styles more than any others he'd tried on at numerous other places. We walked in to an empty store and had the full attention of our associate. We had his ring sized and purchased in a matter of 10 minutes. The reason we chose Master Jewelers besides the style was that they offer free resizing anytime at no charge. No big deal, you think. WELL, if you get a tungsten or titanium ring like my fiance did, you can't simply re-size it. You have to get an entirely new ring. They'll do that for FREE! read more

I took my wedding rings to Master Jewelers to rebuild the prongs as I had lost a diamond, I wear three separate rings with many small diamonds, Shaun repaired the prongs and replaced the diamond that was missing. What a gem this place is, The estate cases or previously owned items are really great. What a variety and the prices are pretty spectacular, Although there is no warranty on the used items they are looked over really good. I took a pair of my mother's gold earring in for repair. They were very thorough in checking the earrings for type of gold and whatever else they need to check. The repair took about 6 days. Not the speediest turn around, but it was worth the wait. The earrings looked good as new; couldn't even tell I broke them! Plus, they polished the earrings making them look nice and shiny. Master Jewelers has friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff (typically family) that go above and beyond the necessities to provide exceptional service and low prices for quality jewelry. I've had them do rhodium plating on my white gold ring, size a wedding band they sold me, buy used gold, and clean jewelry. They are quick and ready to help. Had I known before, I would have chosen them to set my stone in the setting. They are much cheaper than the big stores. I spoke with Shaun about what I wanted to buy, and he explained what my options were. We found a ring that seemed good, but maybe not quite good enough. I then went to the mall and looked at all the jewelry stores, finding nothing better than what I saw at Master Jewelers. I went to Jared and Shane, and was treated well, as well as found rings that would work well. I found the perfect ring at Shane, showed pictures to Shaun, and then decided to go with Shane. When my fiance needed a new battery for his VERY expensive watch, I took it to Master Jewelers. I like the idea of supporting local business, and I figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal to get a new battery. I took it in, and they charged me $25, which I guess was reasonable, since the watch was rather nice. I picked it up and my fiance wore it for the first time on a warm day. The sweat on his arm caused there to be condensation under the face, which seemed odd. My fiance examined the watch and noticed that the seal was missing. When I took the watch back to Master Jewelers, they told me that the watch had never had a seal but that they would put one in for free (which seemed odd...) When I went to pick up the watch AGAIN, it was missing a screw, which they told me had never been there...so a brand new, never-been-worn Armani watch was missing a seal AND a screw? Doubt it. The jewelers were obviously trying to cover their mistakes. Seriously, how hard is it for a "master" jeweler to replace a watch battery without losing parts? BEWARE. I found Master Jewelers about 8 years ago when they were at University and Dry Creek....I bought a gold chain from them at the time. They moved to Park Meadows Mall and I searched them out due to the value and customer service they provided for my first purchase. When it came time to propose to my future wife I met with Shaun to discuss potential engagement and wedding rings. I had an idea of what I wanted, and Shaun did everything to insure that my ideas could be accomplished. I designed an engagement ring, something no other woman would have on her finger. We had a long engagement and Master Jewelers moved to their current location and I found them again to design another unique ring no other woman would have. I found some inaccurate hours listed on the internet and ended arriving at the store 15 minutes after they had closed. No matter; they opened the door and told me to come on in!! I needed two antique rings re-sized and also asked for an appraisal. When I came back a few days later, the rings looked just beautiful, but unfortunately, they had forgotten to do the appraisal. I hung around for about 50 minutes to give the jeweler time to do the appraisal. I took the rings home and they mailed me the appraisal certificate as promised. VERY cheerful, friendly staff. They had a good selection of rings to purchase from what I could see; a nice change from the mall. They also had some loose diamonds if you want to go that route. They also had some turquoise jewelry too. I would definitely come back for repairs, or if I'm searching for a nice piece of jewelry. Great place! read more

I was greeted with a smile and was helped by a very nice man who took his time to value my pieces PLUS give me a lot of information about today's gold and diamond market. In the end, I had several pieces of no value, but the ones that were of value I feel he offered me a very good price. I plan on returning to them to have the stones from the pieces I will forfeit re-set into a nice ring. Based upon the other reviews, it's apparent communication and professionalism is not the strong suit of this company. We had numerous issues when trying to obtain quotes for custom retro-fitted bands to compliment my existing wedding bands. After they had our deposit and my wedding bands which were being utilized to retro-fit the custom bands to, they could not be reached at all, there were unexpected delays without communication to me and then I receive the finished goods and paid the bill, I was then hounded a week and half later stating that the associate gave me the incorrect amount and I owed more money! We wanted to support local business and hopefully establish a go-to place for jewelry, however their poor customer service and lack of professionalism lost them our business. When I relayed how displeased we were and how they'd lost a customer, there was no apology, nothing other than 'we're good to go' upon receiving payment. Never in my life have I dealt with a company that expected their customer to mitigate the mistake made by the company's personnel. read more
