We have had nothing but the absolute best experiences at Miro. My now husband custom designed my engagement ring with a center stone we already had. They matched the band and hidden Halo's diamonds to our center stone perfectly and were (reported by my husband) incredible to work with. They sent him renderings and we're clear and kind during the entire process to create the most beautiful ring. It was incredibly affordable. Additionally, Miro is one of the only jewelers in town who are ACTUALLY knowledgeable about lab grown diamonds and aren't rude/dismissive/Ill informed. It was incredibly important to us to have only lab grown diamonds and they were more than happy to make our dreams come true unlike their not so nice neighbors. Avoid this jeweler at all costs! They are dishonest, unprofessional, and only care about making a sale. My husband purchased my engagement ring here, we wanted a diamond with a black ring. They told us that the black rings we were interested in wouldn't work and instead convinced us to get a much more expensive gold ring coated in black, assuring us it would only need occasional, inexpensive maintenance. The black coating chipped immediately, even though I almost never wore it to preserve it. When we brought it back before our wedding, they returned it in a rusty gray color. After complaining, they sent it elsewhere for repairs, and we didn't get it back for over two months. It chipped again right away, and since it took so long the first time, we had no choice but to wear a hideous chipped ring in our wedding photos. When we tried to have it fixed again, they told us we had to wait until after the holidays. They've now had it for over two months AGAIN and just informed us that they can't fix it, offering only to turn it COPPER. This has been a nightmare from start to finish. The staff has been rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility for their lies and incompetence. We spent almost $6,000 on this defective ring, and they refuse to offer any solution. DO NOT SHOP HERE. They are scam artists who will tell you whatever you want to hear to make a sale, then leave you with a worthless, poorly-made product. Go anywhere else--this place deserves to go under. The people at Shane CO next door have already been miles more kind and helpful. read more

Didn't catch the woman's name (blondish, 40ish) but she was so rude to us the moment we walked into the store. This place is fantastic, I would highly recommend using Miro to anyone. I recently got engaged and had a family heirloom piece that needed some serious attention. The ring was over 105 years old and the prongs were cracked. I met with Nadim Miro and he truly was a tremendous help. He provided me with a number of amazing options. Miro specializes in custom work and we decided to have him completely restore the ring. Miro was able to bring back to life my great grandmothers ring. My spouse and I came here to buy rings- our first-- for our 30th anniversary, and my birthday. We hadn't planned to design something unique, but were so excited to spent time with the jeweler to create custom his-and-hers. We came in a month in advance, and there were no hints it could not be done in time. The sketch looked beautiful. We were on clouds. Long story short-- I don't know WHAT happened. Promised calls were not returned, or were returned late (weeks), asked multiple times for price estimate, never got it, some problem with the stone quality, never knew how long it was going to take--we could have chosen something else. It you can't do the job, or something will prevent making the deadline, say so up front. We could have used cigar bands so we'd have SOMEthing the day of the Once-in-a-lifetime event. Picture a wedding-- without the rings. Still waiting for a call, at least with an excuse. If you need jewelry, cross the street over to the Shane Company. What a disappointing experience. read more

This place exceeded my expectations! I brought in my engagement ring for a resetting and also a diamond pendant from my dad to be made into my wedding band. I worked with Patti who was nothing short of helpful, honest and timely with everything. She even called the day after to confirm a few things once they removed the diamonds from the pendant, just to make sure it was what I wanted and would be happy with. I can't recommend these jewelers enough. They're not like the typical chain jewelers. They're local and family owned, and it definitely shows. The short recommendation is that they have remarkable prices on their jewelry, and they take care of you like you're family. They went above and beyond twice for us. First, I had been emailing with Jenae about buying an engagement ring, and we had talked about the different diamonds. I came into their office to look at diamonds and the engagement ring. I looked at a bunch of options, but then I had made up my mind. I needed the ring that day as I wanted to propose on a trip we were leaving for the next day! Jenae was shocked! But she made it work! She got me set up and sent me on my way. They understand that guys aren't always the best of planners and will try their best to make it work. Second, we went to them to get our wedding rings made. My mother had terminal cancer, and we had to push a rush delivery on the rings. I think we ordered the rings on a Saturday, and they said they could get them to us in 2 weeks. My fiancé and I flew back out to Dallas to take care of my mother, but her condition worsened quicker than we thought. We called Miro back on Wednesday and told them we needed the rings by that Friday, so we could get married that Saturday! It was crazy enough throwing a wedding together in 3 days, but they were able to rush the rings that much faster for us. Our wedding day came together perfectly, and I got to have my first dance with my mother. I'm so happy that it all came together the way that it did, and Miro was a major part in making that happen. I came to Miro Jewelers after visiting several jewelry stores for an engagement ring. Nadim did an outstanding job making us a custom setting, bringing in two batches of peach sapphires to look at, and making the ring extremely quickly. I spoke with associates at just about every well-known jewelry store in town, and Miro's service stood out head and shoulders above the rest. Nadim and everyone at Miro were so patient, kind, and responsive in making a custom setting with a special-ordered stone (round peach sapphire) that I have been singing their praises to all of my friends. If anyone tells you that a custom engagement ring is too expensive, too difficult, or too slow to make, don't believe them! Visit Miro and you will be amazed. Nadim - I'm sorry I haven't written this review sooner! My fiance didn't really know what she wanted, and I had a bad track record picking out jewelry, so we went to several stores to get ideas of what she wanted. She ultimately decided she wanted a white gold solitaire setting and loved the idea of a lotus flower-shaped setting, with a peach sapphire. Once she had the idea of what she wanted, it was up to me to get it and surprise her. Though all of these more well-known stores told us we could get just about any ring imaginable, once I asked about a custom setting the conversation always shifted. I was told it could take 6-8 weeks for something custom, and that it expensive. My fiance and I visited Shane Co and got about the same story, but they were the only store we visited that had a loose peach sapphire in stock. These stones aren't extremely rare or expensive, but few stores stock these stones as they're not in huge demand. Up to this point, I had the best experience with Trice Jewelers and asked them to bring in a designer setting that was close to what I wanted, and to order some sapphires. While I was waiting for those stones to arrive, I went to Shane Co on Columbus Day 2018 (I had the day off work, my fiance did not), and I mentioned to the saleswoman that Trice was bringing in some samples, but I wanted to look at the sapphire again. I was asked "if Trice is bringing in samples, why are you here?" Maybe it was a miscommunication, but I told her "that's a great question" and turned around and walked out the door. Frustrated, I noticed Miro Jewelers right across the street. I had just driven 20 minutes for nothing, so I figured it couldn't hurt to stop in. I was greeted by Nadim, and told him what I was looking for. I had some photos to help give him an idea of what I wanted, told him my budget, and he nonchalantly told me it would be no problem to make the custom setting and I would have plenty of money to spend on the stone. I was a bit flabbergasted, as this was a much different conversation than I had with everyone else. I told Nadim that Trice was bringing in some samples, but if they didn't bring me what I wanted, I would give him a call. A few days later, I called Nadim and told him I was interested in working with him. I visited his store the next weekend and he worked out an estimate on the setting (which was significantly less than I expected), and sent me a 3-D rendering of the setting a few days later. I gave him the go-ahead, and the setting was done in less than 2 weeks. He also ordered in a few peach sapphires to look at. One was too yellow, one was too pink, and one was close to the right shade but not the right shape. I spent a good 45 minutes with Nadim, looking at these stones and he in no way made me feel pressured to choose something I didn't want. That was no problem for Nadim - he sent them back and kept looking. Later that week, he emailed me with pictures of a stone he thought would be perfect and was within my budget. He had it sent to the store, and it was PERFECT. The next weekend, I had the ring! And she absolutely loves it. I can't speak highly enough about Nadim and everyone at Miro. The entire experience at Miro was so much different than all the other stores I visited. I certainly was not a huge spender, but they made me feel valued. I wanted something very specific, and they never made me feel like an inconvenience. I wanted a ring my fiance would love, and they delivered. Thanks again, Nadim.
