Over-priced clothes that will literally fall apart after the first wear because of poor quality. I bought a $400 dress and the strap snapped in the first 10 minutes of wearing it. The old lady working had no interest in helping me solve it even when I approached it with understanding. I don't even think the rudeness, as stated in other reviews, is a problem with the staffing because the owners are the real problem! I will never return nor let my friends shop here. I do not mirror the sentiments of other shoppers in terms of feeling unwelcomed by the staff, or judged. For me, they were not snobby, they greeted me upon walking in, and they checked in on me in the dressing room and text for other sizes, etc. I walked out of here With several floral spring tops at killer prices. Granted they were on the sale rack, the pricing is pretty standard for a mid tier boutique. More the expensive side but of course you are paying for quality (think Agolde and Mother denim, Velvet blouses, gorgeous luxury resort wear sets). I would highly recommend them and will come back for sure. read more

Went shopping today to look for new pieces to add to my collection. The store has caught my eye multiple times because it is across the street from my favorite Sushi restaurant in Colorado. The store has some nice clothing with mid-range boutique prices. I was greeted upon entry and then ignored. A new trainee was behind the register with who I think was the store manager or owner. As I looked around the trainee seemed to appear in each spot that I previously was in. Being a young African-American woman and a young professional with enough money to shop there I began to feel uncomfortable. Once I finished looking around I began to leave the store. The manager/owner glared at me had a quick convo about my rockies Jersey shirt said goodbye and so did the trainee. Basically I felt stereotyped. Melrose and Madison is one of the cutest and most unique boutiques in Denver! The products they have are so unique and look like they are off the runway. The store is run by a mother and daughter duo which is amazing and one of the coolest aspects of the shop! read more

Such a beautiful store. Always has tons of beautiful items, classic and trendy. Some are expensive but worth it and others very reasonably priced. The sale rack is usually pretty great too. Melrose and Madison is hands down the BEST place to shop and the BEST shopping experience. First off, they have the best collection of clothes - from everyday comfortable wear to something dressy and adorable for a night out, so many dresses and so much to choose from! Not to mention they always have an extremely generous sale. But more importantly, the people that work there are my favorite part. Paige, store owner, is absolutely amazing. She is so thoughtful and kind and generous with her time and energy and only wants her customers to be happy. She has even looked for dresses for events that I was in need of and that was outside of her store inventory - I mean how selfless!!! The clothing was beautiful, no doubt. The store policies/service were lousy of what you would expect from an upscale boutique. I'm not say it was awful, but something you would expect from a Buckles store at the mall. I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding something. After some time searching, I wanted to spurge on the dress that was close to $400 for a special event. -The dress was put in a regular bag, not a hanger. -They didn't go the extra mile and ask if I wanted to steam the wrinkled dress -The store return policy was weak! 10 day return policy for store credit. -After I purchased the dress I received a 15% off discount via card, and later, a text. Instead of feeling "wow, I really treated myself" I left with the feeling "wow, I grossly overpaid for this dress". Not a great feeling. Although they had beautiful pieces, I don't think I would return. There are similar stores in the area with a better experience with a lower price tag. Try out Fab'rik. read more

My family and I stayed in the highlands this summer, and I visited this store almost every week. They have amazing clothes and are constantly getting in new items. The women who work there are friendly, and you feel welcome from the moment you step in. They even offered me wine at the highlands store because I was having a bad day during one visit. The whole shopping experience here is what shopping should be! Lastly, I read the previous Yelp review below, and I think it's tacky to comment on a someone's appearance instead of the actual store. This boutique has lovely pieces. However, I was extremely disappointed in their service. I bought a sweater that I had for one day (unused with tags) and they refused to take it back or to provide a store exchange despite the manager failing to mention that all sale items are final. I spent close to 300 dollars on other clothing, which goes to show they do not value their customers. read more

As other reviewers have said, this boutique has beautiful clothes. However, their customer service is awful. I bought a dress there that I was iffy on, and the girl at the counter said I could return it within 10 days if I wasn't happy with it. I took it back three days later with the tags on and the receipt just to be told that I couldn't return it for money back, I could only return or exchange for store credit. When I told them what the salesgirl said, they said it didn't matter because the policy was on the receipt (in tiny letters at the bottom). I will not be back to this store. It is way too expensive and they think just because they are a small business that they can treat their customers like crap. Please take your business elsewhere until they learn better customer service. read more

As other reviewers have said, this boutique has beautiful clothes. I live down the street and love stopping by to see what new items they have. However, their customer service is awful. I bought two pairs of shoes, and two rompers from the store, spending over $700 at the store. Once I got home I realized I already owned a very similar pair of shoes. I called and spoke with the owner to see if I would be able to return the shoes (one day later). I was told by the owner that they have a "no return and no exchange policy for shoes" because of sanitary reasons. There is currently snow on the ground... I have not worn the shoes. The owner told me she would break her own policy and give me store credit for the shoes. I explained that I was still disappointed, and wanted my money back. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service I will not be back- next time I will go to Nordstroms to buy the same products and be able to return my items, no questions asked. read more
