I used to absolutely love this boutique and would always recommend it to friends, but sadly, ever since Susan hired her new manager, Lindsay, the experience has completely changed for the worse. Lindsay is rude, unwelcoming, and incredibly pushy. She gets visibly annoyed if customers don't purchase something, and creates an uncomfortable shopping environment. What's most upsetting is the way she treats the employees. It's truly disgusting. Most of them are high school or college-aged girls just working summer jobs, and Lindsay constantly criticizes them and seems to look for reasons to scold them. Every time I've been in the store when she's working, I end up leaving early because I can't stand to watch the way she speaks to both customers and staff. It's heartbreaking to see such a warm, friendly place turn into a toxic space. I've always had great interactions with the employees, many of whom go out of their way to be helpful and kind. I really hope Susan takes a closer look at what's happening because Lindsay is ruining the atmosphere of what used to be a wonderful local boutique. I have been to this store a couple times and although the clothes have been cute the service is horrible and rude. One of the owners Susan has always been so helpful and kind to me as well as the cute girls that work there. However another owner has consistently been extremely rude and judgy. When I first discovered this place, I found myself going almost weekly. I loved the cute pieces and reasonable prices. The last few times I've been in, I've been really disappointed by their prices. Instead of racks of dresses for $50ish, they have a bunch for $200+. They often have a sale rack with pieces at 50% off, but a clearance dress for $100+ is too pricey for me. They still have some pieces that are reasonable, but I find there are less and less inexpensive things each time I go in. Even their tank tops are $38. The staff are usually super friendly and offer tons of compliments when you're trying things on. But as another reviewer commented, I find the friendless hit or miss. Sometimes I feel like the employees are thrilled I'm there and other times, I feel like they'd prefer I leave. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop but has fallen from my go-to list of boutiques. read more

The selection of merchandise ranges from stylish and affordable clothes to more high-end, trendy apparel, with plenty of stunning accessories in between. During my visit to "Gracie's", I found the owners to be extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on the fashion industry's latest trends. Shopping here was a really great experience. I stopped in while wondering around the farmers market last Sunday. I had never been in here before, but needed a dress for a few summer weddings coming up, and haven't had any luck finding something cute at any chain stores like Nordstrom. The selection here is really unique and a mix of more expensive items and then some a few extremely affordable pieces. I ended up getting a really cute yellow lace dress that was only $66! I was surprised at that price tag! I will certainly come here more often! Now that I know its there and that there are so many cute things, from several brands and the prices are great! I was in Denver on a business trip and was grabbing lunch on Pearl Street and stumbled upon Gracie's Boutique. The inside of the store had the perfect feminine modern atmosphere with a unique flare. They had all of my favorite brands including: BCBG, J Brand, Splendid, & Current Elliot. I really felt that this is a store that caters to all age groups. I even found a printed top for my moms birthday! As I was browsing I met the owner of the store Gracie who was so warm and welcoming. I'm sensitive about my body type and Gracie suggested the perfect dress for an upcoming wedding. I was so impressed at the personalized service that I received and can't wait for my next trip back to Denver. I wish I lived in Denver and could shop at Gracie's more often, and would defiantly recommend Gracie's to locals and visiting tourists! read more

Will never go back. The owner is very hot then cold. I bring all my friends to this boutique after Sunday brunch down the street, however, some days she will remember me then other times she treats us all like we don't deserve to browse her boutique . Appears to be an awesome place when you walk by. However when you walk through the doors off wonderful S Pearl and into the store it seems you've been transported into Germany in the 1930s. I don't really know why this place has such a bad rep on Yelp. I live down the street and love Gracie's! The owners are really nice and always remember me and my little dog. The clothes are a great selection and are reasonably priced for the brands offered. I love their line of cute nylon cosmetic bags, fun and functional. Check out their sidewalk sale every Sunday at the Old South Pearl Street Farmer's Market, they have racks of clothes out for 50% off. Gracie is a fashion expert and enthusiast. She knows the store like the back of her hand and can gather a number of items to suite your style just like a personal shopper. She is always willing to help because she loves what she does, but only if you want it. They have a no harassing policy. They'll ask you if you need help and if you say no, they're not going to keep bugging you - unless you ask, of course. There are no clueless teenage sales associates vying for commission at this store! The co-owners' families have lived in the Denver area for years, so they know quite a few people that walk through the door on a personal level. Of course, they've never met a stranger either, so the atmosphere is always family friendly and they want to get to know you. I find it endearing and apt for a local business. It definitely fits in with that South Pearl niche that everyone loves. As far as the merchandise goes...let's just say I'm showered with compliments every time I wear something from Gracie's. I was literally stopped in the streets of Chicago several times one weekend while wearing a maxi dress from the store. They really have an eye for great style and carry gorgeous, high quality clothes you're not going to find anywhere else. It's always my go to when I need something for a wedding, party, night out or even work...and I know I'm not going to be there wearing the same dress as anybody else. Prices are all over the place and I mean that in a good way. On top of that, there are always markdowns and the sales are phenomenal, which is a relief for an avid boutique shopper on a budget like me. Gracie is always very helpful and is great at choosing items that flatter her customers. The owners are very sweet as well, and work very hard to create a fun, young, and trendy atmosphere. All the merchandise is adorable and very reasonably priced. They carry clothes for almost every occasion, and I never leave the store without something beautiful in hand. Pearl one Sunday and made a note to check out Gracie's during the week. They weren't busy at all but no one would acknowledge or greet me as I entered. Very off putting 'tude. Will never go back. My recommendation: Common Threads consignment store down the block. They're very friendly and have a much larger selection in very good condition at great prices. read more
