This Nordstrom is AH-MAZING. :D FIrst off, they totally remodeled everything inside: floors, the layout, walls, new cafe inside, etc.. It's FANFREAKINGTASTIC. It's the most beautiful department store I've been in to date. :) It's true that they don't mark the prices on their shoes. But what I've noticed is the higher-end designer shoes don't really have labels or tags. It depends on how frequently that style is bought. Also, the people in the shoe department may be nice, but NOT to teenagers. My mom was looking to buy a new pair of leather sandals and I went with her to help her out since she's not the best English-speaker. So we walk onto the shoe floor and we're looking at this table full of sandals, this really creepy looking guy (i.e. sales associate) walks up to us and greets and asks us if we need anything blah, blah, blah. So naturally, I answer "no." for my mom. The sales guy gives me this weird not-quite-evil-eye look and walks away. My mom decides to go to another table and I sit down in a chair to wait. WHAT DO YOU KNOW. Same guy comes up to me and starts making me feel uncomfortable. -.-x Long story short: Mom bought shoes at Macy's. :) Where the sales people treat EVERYONE equally on the shoe floor. But really, I do like this Nordstrom's a LOT. It's got tons of shoes, clothes, accessories, makeup, and bags. I bought a nice wallet for one of my teachers, and the lady behind the counter was super friendly. :) I was having a hard time choosing and she was so eager to pull out all the wallets and purses so I could get a closer look. :D Plus, free gift wrapping. :D And the people they hire to play the piano on the second floor are SERIOUSLY the nicest people ever. This little baby was so taken by the piano player, that the piano player even took requests from the baby! :D CUTE. :D DO shop here for the awesome clothes. :) Wish I could afford them though. :( TIP: The people behind the St. John's counter stare at you. I would like to thank Nordstrom for being so kind and welcoming to our celebrating banquet. The desserts, cocktails, sandwiches, salads, and even the sparking water are definitely well-thought. All the managers from different apartments including shoes, designer items, cosmetics, and etc are there. This definitely shows how much they respect our banquet. Also, we are especially grateful for sales Jiarui for putting together this event for us. She is very kind to everyone, thoughtful about all the details, and well knowledge on anything regarding Nordstrom policies and products. Not only that, they brought the latest designer collection from different stores overnight for us to take a look and shop. The collection goes from La Mer skincare, Gucci jewelry, Fendi bags, and Jimmy Choo heels. They even have the Chanel item that has been out of stock and highly requested for a while there for us. They provided a friendly environment to shop the designer items, to catch up with our friends, and to talk about our company's plan for next few months. This location is by far the best Nordstrom I have been to. The sales associates are plentiful and always willing to answer any question you have. I like the array of brands that they carry and the knowledge that the associates have about the products that they carry. Another plus is the way they offer to wrap whatever you buy so that's its ready for gift giving! read more

Nordstrom is my absolute favorite store at the Santa Anita Westfield! Between their selection of absolutely amazing products and fantastic customer service, you can't go wrong! I've been coming here for years and I can say that their customer service is still as amazing as ever (can't say the same about a lot of other department stores these days). I'll do a review on my latest trip... I left with some gorgeous earrings and a beautiful Burberry watch. Everyone was wonderfully attentive with out being overbearing, which is actually hard to get right. A lot of sales associates are either, not attentive enough, or they hover, I always get a great balance at Nordstrom. My mother, who often labels herself as a "plain person" loves the Westfield Nordstrom. She sometimes feels that sales associates at nicer retail stores give off a pretentious aura and bypass her for a sale because she doesn't tend to dress the part of looking like she could afford to shop at nicer department stores. She commented on how she never gets that feeling here, which makes me happy, because I'd hate for her to feel uncomfortable while shopping with me. My mother and I have complete different tastes in styles, but we can both agree that Nordstrom deserves a 5 star rating :) read more

My mom and myself went to La Mer counter at Nordstrom this past weekend. I have always bought things from Nora and she is fabulous! Unfortunately, Nora was off Sunday and we had Ani (I think that was her name - I was there around 3 pm). She was not very helpful and was quite unfriendly. 5 stars for Nora and 0 star for Ani. I love Nordstrom products but the customer service in the women's department at this location is just not that enticing...as a matter of fact, some of the worker's there have made shopping such a terrible experience that I've switched over to online shopping just to avoid the hassle of dealing with them. I've been coming here lately to purchase bras. The staff members are super nice. No matter who ends up helping me, they're always very patient and attentive. They always made sure I was comfortable in the bra from the fitting room before I made my purchase. I don't but anything else from here, so far only bras. I recently discover the brand diptyque and I fell in love with their scents. I love perfume but they all made me have headaches, not with this brand. I went to their store in Beverly Hills but found it overwhelming and not as "helpful" as I would like, but when I come to my fav store nordy, I found myself being welcomed and greet in the most friendly and nicest way. Caitlyn Hightower helped me out to pick out my fragrance and gave me different things to go try at home. You know it's hard to find a person won't give you that "I pity you that you are getting sample from me face" I will certainly come back and I am so glad I stopped by today, it's the best treat for myself! If you want to get a gift for your friends and make them smile, get their candle, it's expensive but it's the nicest smell and they last. Everything there is out of this world good and you know they put a lot of thoughts into their products, when someone got a gift like that, I am sure you will put a smile on their cute faces! They have the mini ones which are great and their popular ones includes Baies (very berry, rose black currant) smell and my fav is the figuier (fig, woody). Love love! read more

I went in to return something and I was going to buy some make up but, I couldn't get anyone to help me. All the associates were too busy talking to each other, not wanting to be bothered. The security guy was nicer than the associates. They pick and chose who to talk to, an Asian lady walked by when I was looking for help and she was assisted way faster than I was. So I ended up doing my return and leaving right after the lady accused me of trying to return a "damaged backpack" like seriously. Nordstrom get it together. read more

SKOTT!!! That's the sales associate you have to see if you're planning to shop for denim. He is like the jean Expert n knows what he's talking about . I went in to exchange my jeans since it was the wrong length. I walked up to Skott, not knowing if he could help me or not, but he turned out to be the most helpful person ever!!! Most sales person would just give me my refund but Skott asked what I was looking for and recommended I try the high rise. I wasn't too sure about it but he explained it might not be as high and it even told me that it might be even more comfortable. I decided to take his advice n try them. He grabbed 2 different sizes for me, my regular size n one sized smaller since he said my waist is smaller. I tried both on and Skott was so sweet to take a look at both of them on me. He explained to me why I should take the smaller size and how it looked on me. He was so honest and explained in great details about the jeans I was trying on. I have never met such an awesome sales person like Skott!! I decided to go with his advice and purchase them. The awesomeness didn't stop there, he gave me great tips on how to care for my jeans and how to prevent color transfer. Most people just ring you up and that's the end. You can't miss Skott, he's upstairs by the women's jeans section and he is GORGEOUS on the outside as he is in the inside. He's the best friend everyone wishes they had. I hate spending an hour going through rack after rack of clothing and coming up unfulfilled and empty - but I can always satisfy my inner material girl here in under 20 minutes - without the monetary trauma I experience at Neiman's. Nordstrom service is also generally awesome (sales people who check up on you even in the middle of the sale!) I have been going to this Nordstrom since they opened long ago after Buffum's closed. I've always been impressed with Nordstrom because of their famous customer service and their products. Anyway, I was quite impressed with the customer service I recently received from Shivani P. (dept. manager) in the designer handbags department ... impressed enough for me to write a review on Yelp. She epitomizes what Nordstrom is about when it comes to customer service. I really felt special when she personally helped me with a Chloe Marcie Handbag delima. She was very reassuring, she contacted me as soon as she had the handbag and she handled the whole situation with patience and was very pleasant and thorough. Thank you, Shivani for being such a gracious S.A. and thank you Nordstrom/Arcadia for having such a wonderful staff as part of your team. I love this nordstrom it's my go to nordstrom. It's the perfect size not to big and not to small! I like how they carry all of the more higher end name brands then any other nordstrom.. I LOVE this place. Yes, granted the prices are pretty high, buuut the customer service is incredible, there is free warranty on basically everything, and the return policy is great. 1st example: I bought a Michael Kors watch on their website and it wasn't the one I had wanted. The return/exchange policy stated that I will not be able to exchange in stores but had to do it online and there was a fee for this which I did not want to pay. I figured that Nordstrom probably carried the same watch and when I brought it in, they happily exchanged the watch for me without even asking if I had bought it from them! I was pretty shocked as to how flexible they were. 2nd example: I purchased a pair of sunglasses here which I had worn for maybe 2 months. I then (of course) would purchase another pair and abandon these. 4 months later as I was cleaning my car and found my old pair of sunglasses, I thought maybe I would try to exchange it since it was just there collecting dust.. plus I had paid a pretty hefty amount for them. I had already figured they wouldn't let me since it did have a few scratches plus this was bought 4 months ago, but they did! The lady had to call and ask permission from her manager though but she allowed the authorization. I totally lucked out! One small dislike though, the handbag department I'm pretty whatevers about.. the sales people there always try to sell me these ugly handbags and since they work off of commission, can get pushy. I usually end up elsewhere for bags. Nordstroms doesn't carry a big variety in this department. read more

My go to store for holiday and birthday shopping. Whenever I come here I know I will find something. They have a great selection of styles and products as well as pretty good customer service. My favorite part of the store is their bags and makeup section. They all my fav brands in the latest styles in Chloe, Rebecca Minkoff, and Kate Spade. I like the fact that I can always find a salesperson to assist me. Not like a Macy's where you have to hunt them down some times. Their makeup section carries all the brands you can possibly think of. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they are selling and don't just tell you lies to buy the products. I am an avid Nordy shopper. I have been to many different Nordstroms but unfortunately this location fall on the very bottom of my list. Either HR has done a poor job on hiring sales associates or I'm just coming across all the dumb/unhelpful sales reps. It feels like they all just want to make the commission but don't want to truly help the customer find the right product. They also never have the product I'm looking for, where as other Nordys have it in stock. Also, had a bad experience at Christian Dior. Purchased an eye shadow palette, only to come home and seeing the eye shadow was very much used! I go back to return it, I buy another shadow palette and a few lip glosses. They said I get a gift for purchasing more than $35. Great! Right? So I thought.... I go home and open my gift, only to find that my gift was EMPTY! Nothing in the bag. Lesson learned thrice. Won't be coming back to this Nordys unless I'm desperate! read more

I recently bought a purse for the Nordstrom anniversary sale a couple days ago and it just arrived in the mail because they did not have said purse in store. When I checked tracking and found that the purse had arrived, I was obviously very excited about a new purse--I mean, who wouldn't be? Anyways, the excitement quickly died down as soon as I saw the state of the box it came. It was crushed on one corner, and it looked like someone had already ripped off the tape. The purse, however looked fine at first glance--it was wrapped in plastic and covered in butcher paper, and looked new enough. However, upon careful inspection of the purse, I noticed multiple scuff marks (?) I don't know where they came from exactly, but there were white stains on the outside. Inside the purse, there was a strand of long black hair (my hair is blond lol), as well as glitter and lint on the inside lining of the bag. The price tag was ripped off and stuffed in the smaller pocket, and the emblem was scratched and lacked the plastic film that would prevent those scratches. I expected a brand new bag, but this bag just looks like something someone hastily cleaned up and returned. Very, very disappointed with how this purchase turned out, and even more disappointed with the fact that this is not the first time that I have received a used item from Nordstrom. read more

Actually I want to make no star at this store, I live at Anaheim, the online item I place only available at that store, my friends told me that store the people very rude, the promotion gift with purchase just need to send $125 online. They make up they said you need to buy $200, but it's ok, I just place the online order to store pick up, but Plan change, I don't have time to go there to pick, call them to cancel or return, the lady said ok, she will return to gift card, ask me to go their store to get back the gift card at customer service, I mean I just pay a little part the gift card in my order, the most I pay with my visa, why don't just put it to my visa, she said no, I need to go to customer service to get back the gift card, then I ask so just send the gift card for me, she said for security, I have to go to store to get it, So What??? I HAVE TO go to the store, anyway I ask just send the order to me, now I received the order, NO RECEIPT just 2 item, my friend they right, don't deal with this store any more. The best part of this place will definitely have to be the service. People at the shoes department will get anything for you and are super helpful! If they don't have it in stores, they ship it straight to your house, free of charge! That is one of the services that i love most from them. They currently have a semi anniversary sale right now, and apparently it's great. They restocked on many items that sold out really fast. such a good store! If it weren't for the prices of some things, this would be my all time favorite department store. read more
