When I received my invoice I saw that I was being charged $5.20 more for each trophy than I was expecting. After pointing this out he tells me that's what I ordered when I gave him an item number. His web site shows same item number for 2 sizes. I had spoke with him before ordering to see if he had the trophy I liked in stock. Im very sure I said which size, he claims I didn't. Either way there was a flaw on his web site and he should have been a better business man and honored the price for the trophy. All he did was offer $20 off. Just not ok & I feel very ripped off! Only reason I even picked up the trophies is because there is no way I was showing up to our team party without trophies for the kids! (Peter Zirkle knew that!) upon picking up my order Peter goes on telling me a big story that "one day I will miss tripping over skateboards and look back and see it's just money!" REALLY?!?!? glad you feel that way taking MY money! 6/12 trophy plaques weren't even attacked to the trophies and just floating around the boxes! Great quality? I think not! I sent a text asking for their hours, and a couple of minutes later, a young woman showed up and unlocked the front door. She walked into the store and began locking the door behind her, but before she completely lock it, I caught her attention and asked for the store hours. She proceeded to tell me that the store was closed, no one was there, and she was the only person in the store. She said she didn't know the hours because she was an "just there as an intern", she didn't work for them, she was "only doing community service", and she had "nothing to do with them". She was a bit dismissive and what makes matters worse is that, 6 hours later, I have still not received a reply to my text message! Thankfully, I happened to come across another business a couple of doors down that does custom laser engraving. Their name is Archer Creative Designs and they were very friendly, attentive, inexpensive, and thorough, and they'll get the work completed within 3 days! I highly recommend them, instead of Tracy Awards & Embroidery.

She then proceeded to tell me she was here last year when I brought my item in but then does not have any measurements or any file history nor do they have the same font and plates but she can fix it. All the local engravers, laser and a few diamond drag, said they couldn't do it and they didn't know anyone who could. One suggested I try the bay area. I expanded my search and found Bay Stamp and Engraving. Talking to Paul on the phone, I knew I found the right place. He assured me he understood exactly what I needed and that he had the equipment and experience to do it. It was an hour drive to Vacaville, but worth it.
