In that instance, you know you should entrust that kind of thing to an expert, and Ana is an expert. She responded very promptly and had questions that put me at ease immediately: what was the book made of? Was it something porous? Going back and forth with a grieving family was slow-going, but Ana was patient and communicative, even with the tight turnaround. She was clear and upfront about what we should expect, and the price for her work was very reasonable. And the finished product was lovelier than I could have imagined. It was thoughtfully placed and even packaged beautifully. My friend loved the book so much and was so happy with the result. The whole experience was so positive and easy that I won't hesitate to add calligraphy to any special events that come along, because of Ana. Thank you Ana, for helping this grieving family!

Unaware this was a jewerly shop, and not just a coin and gold buyers location like other places, to my SURPRISE Ice vault has many different types of services they provide, such as custom grills (gold teeth), custom jewelry and Rolex watches. I originally came to this location to sell my jewelry, but now Ice Vault has a Repeated customer. I've purchased 2 gold pendants there so far and you can see them in my post. I always get compliments when I wear them. Needless to say, Ice Vault is one of a very few if not the only honest Jewerly business's that are left in the Sacramento area. Customer service was excellent the whole way through. Pricing here was a FRACTION to what he has paid previous years at other shops. Highly recommend! Only complaint and drop for the star was the shop was closed when I came to pick up two days later. A handwritten sign said 9 am-1 pm or afternoon appts only. Where Yelp and their actual store hours on a sign said 9 am-5 pm. Unfortunately, I wasted time driving here (25 mins) only to have to turn right back around and head home.

Calling around other shops, this one was offering the best prices for silver--roughly 5% more compared to nearby shops. And compared to a place in the South Bay, it was nearly 100% more. So you can be assured you're getting a fair deal. One caveat is there's only one guy, and so it can take some time if there's people ahead of you. Also, because it's only one guy, call ahead to make sure it's open and not randomly closed.
