I really wanted to support a local business, which is why I came here in the first place. I stopped…read morein to place what I felt was a pretty decent-sized order for custom baseball jerseys, hoping for some guidance since I was still working through the design. Instead, I got the impression that helping me wasn't really a priority. I was actually told it might be better to come back another time once I had everything figured out, even though that's exactly why I came in: for advice and assistance. While I was there, I was emailed some links and told to simply reply back for pricing. I did exactly that and received an automated response saying someone would get back to me within a day or two. Unfortunately, that response never came. No follow-up, no phone call, no email, just complete radio silence. When we met, I was reassured I had plenty of time to place the order, but because no one ever responded, I ended up scrambling at the last minute and had to take my business elsewhere. It's disappointing because I genuinely wanted to keep my business local. A simple response even to say you couldn't take on the job would have been appreciated. Instead, the lack of communication cost you a customer, and unfortunately, future orders as well.

For a coffee shop in Midtown, this Temple location offers an impressive amount of personal space…read more It's an ideal environment to chat with friends or get some quick work done on the laptop. The extensive penny tiles and wooden elements give the place a cozy feel to it, especially when it gets dark outside. Music isn't too loud -- mainly consisting of modern hipster music (think Tame Impala, Malcolm Todd, Dominic Fike, etc). I tried their peppermint tea. The peppermint aspect is refreshingly strong and a decent caffeine-lite choice. It comes optionally mixed with honey which I totally recommend, but my drink could have used more; it's needed to prevent the peppermint aftertaste from getting bitter. My only gripe with the interior is the lack of power outlets. Only half of one wall has outlets lined against it. This shop would exemplify the ideal work-from-home environment otherwise. It's not an issue for spending 2 hours on a full battery though, and I especially can't complain if I'm dropping in on a late evening (doesn't close until 10pm every day). Despite having several locations all throughout Sacramento, I consider Temple to be a staple of Midtown. It's conveniently located near several hotspots such as the Saturday Farmer's Market, Lavender Heights, and entire rows of businesses throughout J/K/L street. Stamp of approval!

They discussed the pros and cons of each option in a clear and honest way, helping me understand what would work best for our executive group dinner. They even allowed me to take home several samples, which made it so much easier to share with my team and feel confident in the final selection.
