Katie is awesome! I had come in with bunch of things that needed fixing. One was a ring with a special stone. The stone fail out. She had to spend hours to put it back since the ring had a crack. Very displeased with the service here. I needed a ring resized. I paid a lot of money (almost $300), waited for 3 months and received unsavory customer service throughout. Since then, I researched jewelers and found one I trust, like and agree with, and just learned the ring I had resized to a 6 with Little Relics was resized to a 6.25. This place is incredible! I first messaged them over Yelp to see if they would be able to help me with a special project. I have a family heirloom that had fallen apart, and, I wanted to see if they could put it back together for me so that I could wear it! I was quickly messaged back by Susan, and, she invited me in to see if they would do the work that I needed! When I first walked into Little Relics, I could tell that the vibe was very different! It is truly elevated! You feel lighter and happier when you walk into Little Relics. I was greeted by one of the associates and explained that I had been talking with Susan and she immediately popped up from a project she was working on. She looked at my bracelet and knew immediately that she could fix it! She talked me through the different options and we finally agreed on something that we both thought would work well! (My bracelet is Jade and she wanted to help me elevate the power behind the stones, so, she laced them on a special wire that did just that!) Lastly, this place stands by their work 100%! After a few weeks of wearing my newly re-done bracelet, I had been too hard on the clasp and it broke. I messaged Susan and she offered to fix it for me with a sturdier clasp! I must say, I had a wonderful experience coming to this quaint and unassuming little jewelry shop! Trust me, big things come out of such a little venue, I assure you. Initially I came in to get diamonds swapped out in my wedding ring and to get my ring sized up and get a crack fixed in the band. I got to meet the jeweler, watch her work which was almost unheard of in this day and age. Not only did my ring look amazing, but we had established that the jeweler before her, when tightening the prongs in my ring had cracked the stone; which left me with a chipped diamond that I didn't know what to do with. She had a wonderful idea of putting it into a bezel set ring or necklace to hide the chip. I chose a necklace. She handcrafted me a very unique and custom made piece of jewelry that is a one of a kind piece. One thing I can tell you is that if you are looking for something that is plain and typical, conventional down to every last detail, and cookie cutter do not come here because everything she makes is unique in its own way and one of a kind! Little Relics is an adorable shop in Sacramento, CA. I heard about it on a local mom's group when I was interested in making something new out of some of my grandmother's jewelry. I decided to visit, and I was not disappointed! The owner Susan listened to my concerns about changing an heirloom, the whole design process, and so on, and she helped every step of the way! If you are looking to have durable jewelry made, with clean lines, I would not recommend this location. The lack of communication, and artistic license taken, was very frustrating. Due to structural problems, we ultimately had to scrap my wedding ring set and have them remade elsewhere. We had my husband's heirloom wedding band resized and it was done very poorly. We were able to have it somewhat smoothed out elsewhere, and thankful at least one of our two heirloom wedding bands was salvaged. read more

It hurts that I have to write this review, but I've been putting it off for too long! The band of my pearl ring cracked back in January and I took it here to be repaired. Susan told us it would take two weeks, and at the end of those 2 weeks we called to check in. We were told it would take even longer because of all the holiday orders she had coming in, but my mom explained that I needed it back before I returned to Southern California the next week for university. Susan then said it would be done by Monday, which we were okay with, but a few hours later she called back and said it was ready. When I got my ring back, it was dirty, the pearl was not centered, and a section of the ring was shaved down (which I didn't ask for!!!). There was glue all over the pearl and band as well. I wanted to write a review then but I didn't want to hurt a small business, even after reading the review by Jessica A. who had the exact same thing happen to her here! About 2 months after getting the ring back, the pearl fell out! Thank God I found it a few weeks later, but by then I was incredibly upset. I should've written this review then, but I still held back. I'm only writing now because I finally went to get it fixed by a different jeweler yesterday, who informed me she had used Krazy Glue to stick it on!! I'm so shocked by the disrespect she had for this ring that I now feel compelled to let others know. Please be careful about bringing your jewelry here. It seems like they do a good enough job if they take their time, but if they feel any pressure from you to get it done they'll rush and do a terrible job. read more
