When I stopped by the store at 2:40p today, Friday 2/21, the store was closed. There was a phone number written on the glass with instructions to "text for assistance". I sent a text asking for their hours, and a couple of minutes later, a young woman showed up and unlocked the front door. She walked into the store and began locking the door behind her, but before she completely lock it, I caught her attention and asked for the store hours. She proceeded to tell me that the store was closed, no one was there, and she was the only person in the store. She said she didn't know the hours because she was an "just there as an intern", she didn't work for them, she was "only doing community service", and she had "nothing to do with them". She was a bit dismissive and what makes matters worse is that, 6 hours later, I have still not received a reply to my text message! Thankfully, I happened to come across another business a couple of doors down that does custom laser engraving. Their name is Archer Creative Designs and they were very friendly, attentive, inexpensive, and thorough, and they'll get the work completed within 3 days! I highly recommend them, instead of Tracy Awards & Embroidery. read more

No star rating. Not even worth your time coming to this place anymore. Under new ownership and they're a joke. No business ethic and not professional at all. What kind of business does not keep a history file of your loyal customers for years. The big lady in the front is rude and and laughed in my face when I informed her what was messed up and you can physically see the embroidery they messed up on. She then proceeded to tell me she was here last year when I brought my item in but then does not have any measurements or any file history nor do they have the same font and plates but she can fix it. Not really run like a business. No posted hours. Seems like they open whenever. I oreder a printed ribbon on Wednesday for a funeral arrangement, and they said I could pick it up on Friday. The funeral was that Saturday. I went at 10 am. to pick it up, and they were closed. I went again at 1:30 and they were open but the ribbon hadn't been made. The "girl" was coming in at 3:00 to make it and they closed at 4:00. If it was being made at 3 and you close at 4 exactly when on Friday, was I supposed to pick it up? They ended up delivering it to my home at 7:30 pm Friday night. They did in the end get it to me, and I'm thankful for that, but none of that should have happened. One story for how they run their business and one star bc I did get my ribbon. read more

They typically don't work over the weekend but the owner opened shop and met with me this saturday to discuss my business needs for a plaque that I needed made. Debbie was very helpful and made great recommendations and suggestions. The had the plaque ready that afternoon! Super awesome service and great work. read more

Brought in a letterman's jacket in February to have patches applied for an unfinished jacket that my son wore. Wanted them done by the time my son came home from college in mid May. Was promised completion before he got home. It is now mid August and he is returning at the end of the week to his college back east and no jacket, no return calls, no return emails, nothing. Let me start by saying Tracy Awards & Embroidery is AWESOME! I went there to get a quote for a plate for my flag display case. I was greeted by a very friendly staff member name Beth. I explained what I was interested in and she new exactly what I was talking about. It just so happened to be that Cambria was there (She does the plates) and she came out to assist me. Both were very friendly and knowledgeable. I wrote down what I wanted on the plate and they emailed me the proof for my approval before starting the project. I made a few changes and they were very patient with me. They emailed me the second proof, and I approved. They lost my business today and any future business I may have thought about giving them. We took something in to get embroidered on a Thursday and the kid behind the counter was new and didn't know if they could embroider it. He said he would call us back Friday. Nobody called me Friday so I called about 6pm and they STILL didn't have an answer for me. I called back Saturday and left a message that I wanted to pick up the bag and take it somewhere else. Saturday evening I received a voicemail informing us they could embroider the bag. We went down there Monday to pick out our font, not only were we greeted in a completely unprofessional manner the girl behind the counter (another new employee supposedly) didn't have a clue what she was doing. A guy from the back came up and proceeded to say they in fact could NOT embroider it how I wanted. This place needs to get their act together, train their staff better and really work on their customer service. I am all about supporting small town business but this place will never see me or my money again! read more

Just picked up my graduation stole that i wanted to embroider. Upon looking at the piece after getting home, I realized the stitching didn't look as good as i thought. One stitch was coming out and I had to cut very softly so the stitches won't come undone. The back looks very frail, as if it could get snagged on anything and the entire stitching is going to get ruined. I will be putting a piece of tape on the back to make sure this isn't happening. On top of this, I felt as if I was bothering the lady at the front desk. I'm unsure if she's the owner or not, but as a small business owner myself; every customer, small and big, is important and should be treated as such. When i first came in I felt as if I was bothering her. I didn't know about my options and when i asked, I was treated as if I was supposed to know what they offered. The business looks like an family owned company because the two times i've visited, there was kids at the store hanging out. I can appreciate small family run companies. But since they are small and privately owned, I would expect a different experience since I'm supporting local private shops. The only reason why i'm giving a 2 star review instead of one is because the time was quick. The project, although was very small, was done in a timely manner. But the lady did tell me she wanted to finish it quickly since they are closing for a week later in July. read more

Avoid. They are unorganized. It will take you 2x as long as they tell you. They will have one excuse after another as to why you don't have it on time. You will call and ask if it's done because they will never call you. Once they finally tell you it's finished you will go pick it up only to find out it's not finished. They didn't do something they agreed to do on day one. They can not help design anything at all so if you can't figure out how to fix a picture they can't either, go somewhere that can. Go here if you have lots of time and know exactly what you want. Maybe start letterman jacket when your kid is in middle school so it will be done before they graduate high school. read more

I had such an issue creating my lettermen's jacket. I came in September and ordered it they got it in October. I delivered my patches mid October and continued to design the back through emails. When we first met to discuss it I showed pictures thinking they would take them and clean them up to then be put on my back. They did not and tried to charge me extra for their assumptions. It took from October to February to design a back. I finally gave up getting the images on it going for a simple design. The first meeting with them I specifically said I wanted jewels lining my last name they assumed that was something I no longer wanted and didn't order it. Finally took till April to get it. I got new patches and want to complete my jacket back but I will never be going back Another bad product I got was a shirt given out on homecoming. After the second wear all the letters peeled off. So I connected with Raul who brought me to this shop and let me tell you their work is amazing. I am really surprised about the bad reviews for this shop. I started my own financial business and I have over 20 licensed agents at the moment and I needed to get my team shirts finished quickly for conference not to mention that this was my first time working with emroidery. I worked with Raul and he walked me through the process I sent over the artwork needed for the embroidery and it was completed in a couple of days. I was then contacted by Brittany to go over a few details and that was great I loved the fact that she cared about how detailed I need my polo shirts. When ordering your letterman jacket here go over the order carefully . Awaiting a call back from them regarding resolution will update UPDATE. Still waiting for Call from manager or owner for explanation. Employee ,I had to call back ,Said she placed the correct order as of today and I should get jacket next week (with a 2-6 week turn around so far. we will see the truth) also have not heard the guarantee it will be in from anyone with authority . Will update again.. I did get a chance to speak with manager , Cambria and was she did find the error and quickly corrected the issue. Went in to have a soccer trpophy made for my son, picked one out, asked them to engrave a few lines. Went next door to the optometist, within 15 minutes phone was ringing, "Your trophy is ready sir",.. What!??? serious!? AWESOME!!! Do NOT patronize Tracy Award and Embroidery! So much for trying to stay local and helping the little guy. I wish I could give negative stars. Long story short. Our company took hats to them to have a logo silk screened. They said they could do the job, but on picking up the product it was evident that they did not silk screen but used an iron on logo. When they were called out they flat out lied and said they never intended to silk screen and that we knew that. Tracy Awards wouldn't share the cost of their wrong doing or the destroyed hats..instead threatened to take our company to collections unless we paid in full. We will pay our messily $200 invoice but let it be said that all of Tracy will know how poorly Tracy Awards treats their customers. read more

Called and spoke to owner the middle October and asked how long it would take to "decorate" my daughter's letterman's jacket. I was told two weeks. Took jacket in the beginning of November. Told two to three weeks. Four weeks later, no jacket. Emailed and called and left messages...no return email or calls. Finally someone answers and says they will have it ready in two weeks. Call after three weeks, because of the holidays and then was told I would have a proof to approve by Monday. Wait until the following Thursday and call and am told it will be another two to three weeks to approve because they have new owners and for "unforseen circumstances"! They have now had my jacket for eight weeks and say at least they have the patches sewn on. Well, I hope so, I already paid for that! I decided forget it, because I didn't want to wait any longer. Went and picked up the jacket. There was a pen mark on the sleeve and the patches that were sewn on one of the sleeves were lopsided. How can you not line up four patches? Horrible workmanship! Called another company and they have been so helpful and fast. Keeping in contact with me the whole time as to what they are doing. In two weeks the other company has done two times more work than Tracy Embroidery did in two months! read more

Went in for Trophies that were being donated by our team to a charity fundraiser and not only did they fast track it for us, they discounted them purely from the goodness of their hearts when they found out what they were for. Okay so here comes the end of the story. Last Thursday I had to call them once again. They told me the Jacket would be ready today.... Which it was... However, I was told that I did not pay for the numbers that I had asked to be put on the Jacket from the onset. So, I asked that the owner to call me. David (owner) calls me and says the numbers were at a cost of $75 but for having to wait so long he was going to discount it to $50. WOW what a deal... He and I spoke and he said he had read my posting and did not appreciate that I included another business. I told him that if there was any false statements, to let me know and I would change them... Of course there is not. David needs to get a clue and realize that unless some drastic changes are made to this business it will go by the wayside. He stated that he had let go Cambria sp? Yet, this is not the problem. The problem lies a lot closer to the customer. I wish you luck David and until you open your eyes and see what is going around your business, you will lose it. Once again... DO NOT GO HERE... So for David's sake I will not mention another business, but any business is better than here. A few years now I have been using Tracy Awards and Embroidery for gifts, blankets and all of my kid's stuff. Went there two weeks ago and the employee told me there is new owner now and the price has gone up by a few dollars. So I said, "no problem" got my written quote and left. Boy was I in for a surprise! Because when I returned to pick up on the due date as promised the new guy could not find my stuff in the shelves because it was not even started!!!! Then they told me they had emailed me, so he checked the computer and realized they mistype my email address, seriously?? You don't check your "returned error messages" Then now they told me the price was also in the $50s, original quote was high $20s...A little off there on the quote???? Its just 3 blankets with a name? Now 4 days later, I still have not received a call that my items are done. Guess, they mis-dial my phone number too. Well, off to check in person again..... Miss the old owners, she was fast, courteous, accurate, fair, does a great job and follow through.... Amazing work. I had an idea for a custom gift for a friend's baby shower but I wasn't sure how I was going to execute it. They were my first stop and they knew exactly what to do. The gift was for one of my husbands best friends unborn daughter. They are huge golfers so I really wanted to create a custom "daddy's little caddy" outfit. It was absolutely adorable and came out so much cuter than I imagined. It looked like a little miniature LPGA outfit. I wish I would have taken a picture of it to show just how cute it was. So, I went to tracy embroidery to get 4 shirts done for my bowling team. brought them most of the art work that i wanted on the shirts. First went to Raul. then got pushed to the girl Brittany. Brittany said she just needs a couple of days to put it together. after one week has passed. No calls from them. So i call, she says i was going to cal you, which never happened. then she says need some more time. So another week goes by. No calls. So i call again. She says i got most of it done. but she says i cant do anymore on it till you pay for it. So i said i will pay for it, as long as i get back done in a week. this was a monday. said i need it back by the next monday. Brittany said no problem. So i paid some crazy fees for all different things. Which came in over 315 dollars that didnt include the shirts or embroidery. Then they ordered the shirts. The day before i needed the shirts, Brittany called said she got the shirts but they were wrong. GO FIGURE.. Now for a little bit more money i can get you this shirt. MORE MONEY. WOW!! Then she said i can get them in time to finish, i said ok, i need them. Then they messed up on the order, so they didnt get there in time again. SO I GOT FED UP WITH THE EXCUSES ALL THE TIME. NO CALLS BACK, NO REFUND,NO NOTHING. So i went somewhere else. got my shirts in 3 day. i also have a business in Tracy and would NEVER TREAT ANY CUSTOMER LIKE THEY HAVE.
