I called Semper Solaris, who directed me to call Enphase, who directed me to call semper Solaris to send a technician after their troubleshooting did not work. I even reinstalled my previous router with no luck. Short story, I called Semper Solaris and they schedule me a technician for a whopping $500 service fee upfront without even diagnosing the problem. Not covered by warranty and per their management about waving the fee or reducing the fee, "Sorry, nothing they could do." I cancelled the technician. This was in 2024, and I have not been able to connect to my solar panels since then. Buyers be aware

Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. I had a frustrating experience with Your Energy Solutions regarding a warranty transfer. We were later charged $500 with no prior breakdown or explanation of the fee. I clearly communicated that I would be the one paying this charge. Despite that, the service department reached out directly to the buyer and asked who would be paying. This unnecessary contact created confusion and complications during the escrow process that could have easily been avoided. The lack of transparency on the warranty transfer fee and the poor internal communication caused more stress than necessary. Businesses handling real estate-related services should be more careful with both contract clarity and how they communicate with parties involved in a transaction.

Upon Ryan's recommendation, we also decided to replace the solar panel racking system installed by Sunrun because we were plagued with roof leaks due to improper sealing of their footings. These guys handled the installation of the panel and conduit to my Tesla powerwall. The images say…read moreall that needs to be said about the quality of their work. They lied to me when they said running the conduit through the attic would be impossible (as originally planned) on the day of installation. They said they will have to wrap it around the outside of the house and not to worry about it because it'll be hardly noticeable. I took their word for it, but figured they would have at least done a professional job and ran the conduit along the roof instead of in plain sight. They didn't even attempt to install it correctly. What's worse is that they stand by their work. I've been dealing with Tesla support to resolve this matter and these guys decided to go silent. It's been 4 months since I originally filed the complaint, right after it was installed, requesting that they install it properly. If you consider hiring them for your solar/powerwall installation needs, just know that they stand by their work highlighted in these photos. Needless to say, they like to cut corners. Speaking of cutting corners, I highly advise that if for whatever reason you decide to work with them, that you hire an independent electrician to audit their work. They effectively derated my system by putting everything behind a 90 amp breaker, even though in the permit (which I had to fetch myself from the city) it clearly stated there was to be no main rerate. You can't trust the city/county inspectors, because they say it and passed it. No one advised me that they derated my system.
