My husband and I went with Harrison and his team in landscaping our backyard. He helped build a retaining wall, concrete, lighting, and sprinklers. His team worked long hours each day and they worked very hard to meet all of the timelines. He was able to do all of our landscaping needs and was the best price in the area. He's honest and gives great advice with landscaping and has been around the business for many years. Even after the job was done, he stopped by after the holidays to check our sprinkler system and helped us hook up our new bbq system. He's a really nice guy and trustworthy. We love our new backyard! Will post up pictures once the rainy weather starts to settle down. Update: Harrison and his team did a great job with installing our plants, drip system, string lights and an aluminum patio cover. We are very happy with how our backyard turned out read more

I don't write reviews much. I wanted to write this review as I was so happy with the results. I'm pretty much busy with work with all the time and don't have the time monitor and check on how the contractor work is going. Harrison know exactly what I wanted and did the work in a flash. And his quote was the most competitive. I received Harrison's referral from a neighbor and I decided to give it a shot as the neighbor's backyard was absolutely gorgeous. A fantastic decision as I now also have beautiful backyard to spend time with the family. People - if you are searching for a landscaping contractor, give Harrison a shot. I only had positive experience with him. read more

We chose harrison to finish our backyard and extend our driveway. He was recommended by many in the community and his quote was more competitive than the other contractors. What he delivered was more than we could expect. He was a one - stop - shop. Landscaping, concrete, tile, electrical, and running gas / water lines. He and his team were incredibly fast. This was my first time landscaping, so I made a number of last minute adjustments as he and his team were working. With each adjustment, Harrison responded with great feedback, quickly adjusted his plans, and continued with extremely efficient execution of the job. Not only did he landscape our backyard (grass, plants, pavers and tile), he installed new wall lighting (with dimmer), mounted an outdoor tv (with electrical) , ran gas line for our fire pit, extended our driveway, installed a Tesla charger, and installed low voltage lighting through the front and backyard. On top of the range of the job, we are thoroughly impressed with the quality of his work. Our yard is next to a trail, and we regularly get compliments. I would highly recommend Harrison and team. read more

If you want excellent service, outstanding workmanship, best pricing, and to work with an honest and reliable contractor, you do not need to look further. We moved into a new construction Single Family Home in Dublin about a month ago. The HOA requires landscaping within 6 months of closing escrow. We had several bids from various contractors working on our neighbors' yards or referrals from friends. Harrison stood out from the rest in his honest, no BS approach. He clearly knows what he is doing, is very organized, gets the right team to do specific tasks, and he shows genuine interest in doing the best job for the space. We are more than happy with our new backyard and are super grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Harrison and his crew. If I ever need another yard done, I would hire Norcal Concrete in a heartbeat AND I would 100% trust whatever Harrison recommends. I cannot say the same for the new home buying process or the jerks I had to deal with for this new home. The ONLY thing that gave me 100% satisfaction regarding my new home is the backyard done by Norcal Concrete. Highly highly recommend! read more

Norcal concrete is efficient with their work and have their system down. We redid our entire backyard and hired Harrison and his team to help us demolish and rebuild from ground up. In addition to their ability to build and landscape beautifully they are also capable of electrical work and helped me install lighting, Tesla charger, and hot tub. He was also able to help us run a gas line and install a water sink outdoors. Highly recommended read more

We were referred to Harrison by one of our neighbors. Before meeting Harrison, we evaluated few other contractors but Harrison's rates were the most competitive. It was straight forward working with him - we showed him our designs and right away he pointed few suggestions/improvements which turned out to be quite useful. He provided us a rough timeline, list of materials that we needed to select or buy and completed the project on time. He was one stop shop during the project since he did the electrical and landscaping work as well. The quality of craftsmanship was top notch!! Everyone who visits our backyard gets impressed with how it turned out. Few months later, Harrison started working on our neighbors backyard and he noticed an irrigation drip not working properly. He knocked on the door and addressed it right away. Great work Harrison and co.!! read more

I was more than pleased with the work on my large patio by NorCal. it was very professionally done, on time, and of the best quality. NorCal's owner, Harry, stayed closely engaged daily with his crew who were experienced, efficient and wasted no time. Harry and the crew always showed up when they said, on time and completed the project on schedule. Harry clearly took artistic pride in his work and made several excellent suggestions in the course of the project which we adopted. On top of NorCal's professional and high quality of work, NorCal was the best bid. How can you beat that? I would highly recommend this company. A pleasantly surprised and satisfied customer. read more

In April we moved into our new home with a blank canvas as a backyard. Harrison was referred to us by one of our neighbors. After seeing our neighbors yard we gave Harrison a call. He completed the project on time, within budget and delivered exactly what we had envisioned. I would hire him again for future projects. His dedication and professionalism is commendable. We were referred to Harrison by our neighbors and we are so glad we chose to go with him! We had a grass area in the backyard that was non functional that we planned to replace with concrete and turf so we could add a gazebo on top. Harrison helped us do it all, in fact he even incorporated a few additional ideas (such as adding an outdoor shower for our pool and hooking up electrical and plumbing for a built in bbq). We are super pleased with the results and can't say enough good things about his work ethic. He is very streamlined, knowledgeable and timely which is a rare find in his field of work!! He's hands down the best landscaper we could have hired for the job. read more

This is in reference to Harrison from Norcal Concrete and an update. This guy has not renewed his license or he is using someone's expired license. I tried to contact the California license board about him and found this out. Beware! If he does crappy work for you and you're not happy, there is no recourse. He seems like a good guy but that may be how he gets potential customers and if the work turns out good then you're ok but if not...Check his credentials and ask him about his expired license! read more

Norcal Concrete - Our Backyard - Masonry/Concrete Near Me

Nor Cal Concrete designed and managed my entire landscaping for my new home. He layed stamped concrete and all plants and grass for both my front and back yard. The owner Harrison is very knowledgeable and reliable. I like the fact that he kept things clean and tidy along the way, and that he works with you on your ideas and needs. I recommend him and his crew! We even called him back to manage a second landscaping job for our backyard 6 years later. read more

I was looking to have the backyard completely gutted, several large trees (and residual roots) removed, the sprinkler system relocated; with a new drip system installed and landscaped with stamped concrete. I also needed the front yard re-landscaped, with a new drip system installed. Harrison came to estimate the job and I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and straight forward communication. He was up front and honest with what would work given the type of sun/shade the yards received throughout the day. He has a very robust background in horticulture and is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of landscaping. His estimate was very fair and allowed me to stay within my allotted budget, while getting everything completed. Throughout the process Harrison arrived daily when he said he would, and left my property neat and clean at the end of each day. He completed the job in less than three weeks and I could not be more pleased with the final outcome. As I await the curing of the concrete, so the sealant can be put down in two weeks, Harrison has come by a few times to check on the landscaping and ensure the plants/lawn continue to thrive through the heat. There were a few small patches of grass that did not survive the 108 degree weather and Harrison has replaced these patches with new sod. He went above and beyond by doing extra little things on my property to ensure my property looked great. I'm so very happy with the work Harrison did and I cannot recommend NorCal Concrete and Landscaping highly enough. If you're looking for an honest, hard-working, knowledgeable and licensed contractor whose work is top notch; look no further...call Harrison! read more

Harrison is the best! We live in a new home development and reviewed several bids before selecting Harrison to landscape our entire backyard and front pathway. His pricing is fair, he's honest, kind, very hard working and he and his team are extremely respectful of the property. He works long hours and really cares about delivering quality work. We showed him an idea of what we wanted for the backyard plantings and turf, as well as photos of a string light design. He custom made the wood posts for us -with care and artistry- and even thought to add wire to the string lights to keep them taut in the wind. That was a fabulous idea that made it polished and clean. His team poured concrete efficiently and the curves and patterns look great. He runs his business with integrity - organized with a phased payment and execution schedule that makes you feel confident he has truly fulfilled the commitments or goals he set. His team cleaned up after every day they were at our home and they finished the yard quickly. He was more than happy to pick up plants for us and get everything exactly how we envisioned. We have already recommended him to our neighbors! It's good to have a plan/examples of what you would like and he will execute it flawlessly. read more
