Came here for lunch on a random stop and I'm so glad I did! I really enjoyed the warm atmosphere and great service. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything came together for such a lovely experience. Definitely a stop I'm happy I made!

Stopped by before a concert and had such a fun time enjoying my Thai dinner. The service was amazing, and the vibe was chill and laid-back for a weekday. I loved the beautiful interior design, it's stylish and inviting. Of course, I treated myself to a happy hour drink because why not? Plus, it's super convenient close to the subway and just steps from Brooklyn Bowl, making it the perfect pre-show spot!

Fried Calamari

Food is pretty authentic and very flavorful. Staff are incredibly kind and patient. This place is also extremely nice during the evening with the warm and dark lit ambiance they have. Highly recommend for a spot to eat.

Overall rating: 4.8 I went with a group of 6 and didn't realize how large this place was. I'm surprised there are such low reviews, I had a great time. I went for lunch and it was empty. The Thai iced coffee is sooo good, omg I need to go back. I can't fully remember what I got but it was delicious. The picture is attached & was a great portion. They were also able to split the bill per order. I definitely will be coming back when I'm in the area to try more dishes.

Fried Mock-Duck Salad (V), Crispy Spring Rolls, Curry Puff (V)

Upon entering Nora Thai I was taken aback by its extravagant interior. The lighting was dim and the interior was large with plenty of seating and no reservation needed at 8PM on a Saturday. Service was quick and friendly, waitress offered some recommendations from the long menu and we tried a few apps and entrees. The vegan curry puffs were surprisingly my favorite, the puff itself was pillowy and the curry inside flavorful. The mock duck salad was also a nice balance of sweet and salty, though I wish there was a bit more mango. The pad thai was interesting - definitely flavorful but almost overpoweringly so. I don't think I'd ever say that - since the worst possibility is underseasoned noodles - but the amount of sauce was a LOT. Overall a nice dinner with quick service, the menu is long with a designated vegan portion so lots of vegetarian/vegan options!

Green Curry Lunch Special

Food came out prompt, perfect temperature, and tender. I got the green curry and coconut rice paired with a mango mojito. The green curry was comforting, as well as the coconut rice! The mango mojito was perfect blend of flavors. I was not drunk after, but definitely buzzed. The chicken curry puffs were also really good and a good appetizer! I enjoyed the dipping sauce it came with! Service was good, no complaints. I loved the choice of indoor and outdoor dining. I chose inside near the statue where it feels more intimate.

Came here for Mother's Day. We got here around 5 so it wasn't that crowded. We started with the appetizer bites. I had pad Thai and my husband had the fish. Everything was delicious. Our daughter had some of our food and loved the coconut rice. We took some nice pictures here too.

The food was good. The drinks were good, especially the mango mojito . The restaurant was clean, nice and dimly lit, which was very romantic. The service was good. The waitress was attentive. I loved that they had a photograph menu.

Cute Thai restaurant with an extensive menu featuring all the classics with meat, fish, veggie and vegan options Nora Thai has something for everyone! They have specials on dishes and drinks that are changed out regularly. Their cocktail menu is creative and unique with very pretty libations. The interior decor is intimate and pretty so its a solid option for a date night but casual enough for a friendly get together. They take reservations in case you want to secure your spot. I dropped in at 7 at on a Saturday and was seated promptly. The place is not too loud and its right in the heart of trendy Williamsburg. I enjoyed my pad Thai, I would come back.

Bathtub sink

Nice ambiance, the bathroom is really unique with the bathtub sink. The portion sizes are good, albeit a bit expensive for the price. The green curry had a little bit of spice. The pad Thai was a bit chewy and too sweet.

Pork belly that was practically uncooked
JJ B.

I ordered a pad thai with pork belly and what I got was uncooked pork belly (see pics) that not only was dangerous (uncooked pork carries bacteria), but also a waste, since it had to be thrown out. The pad thai that they served was also not typical. We're talking bright orange, soaked in so much sauce that you can see it pooling under the noodles. Did I reach out to them? You bet I did. And they simply ghosted me. Ridiculous.

SHE'S A VIBEEE. Nora Thai has a great ambiance--moody, cozy, dim. A great vibe for a girls' night out dinner. Lychee Martini and Pomegranate Mojito were delish (good and strong). The Piña Colada tasted like straight pineapple and didn't have that creamy coconut taste that it should have. We ate family style here so everyone could get a taste of everything. Fried Chive Dumplings: My usual go-to app and these are HUGE, like 2-3X the size of regular chive pancakes you get. Delicious, crispy, super hot, LOVE. Crab Rangoons: Hard to mess up, pretty standard. Pad See Ew: Not too oily, beef wasn't too tough, and not too salty. Good. Pineapple Fried Rice: ADDICTIVE. I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. Chicken Cashew Nut: Sweet and savory. This was a table favorite. It was flavorful and had the chili flavor without being too spicy. Service was a bit slow at times--it took a little bit to get our bill, but my friends and I were chatting so no biggie. Staff was super sweet. Would definitely come back again.

Chicken Pad Thai

Went in for lunch and got the chicken pad Thai with an ice cold draft beer. Usually I am a hungry boy but the portion was large and I felt I barely scratched the surface of what was on my plate. My gf said "that is the best pad Thai I've ever tasted"

(Inside there's a bar and some booths along the wall). The menu is standard Williamsburg cocktail bar pricing and naturally, we were all drawn to the tequila drinks. I had a Lime All The Time, which was yummy and my partner had a Beach House which was alright. We also all had a round of skinny spicy margaritas which were stronggggg. The bartender was quiet but polite. I liked how they were several jugs of ice water and cups available for patrons. There are bathrooms downstairs and based on the layout of the bar, I suspect it can get rowdy and fun after 8pm rolls around. I'd love to come back then!

Ambience inside, particularly in the upstairs bar, is very nice with dimly lit booths and and a nice bar to sit at. The vibe of the bar is upscale, but not at all pretentious and easy to meet new people. Very friendly bartenders as well. Cons: The bar has become a bit of a victim of it's own success in the past year, as it has been 'discovered' by Gen Z and TikTok. The resulting long entry lines and crowds inside have spoiled the feel of this once hidden gem. And be prepared to hold your pee during peak times Overall, it's still one of the best bars in the city, but I will probably hold off to see if the newfound fame eases off a bit in the near future.

Came here on a quiet weeknight by a total mistake!…read more We came to grab some drinks at the rooftop bar and catch the sunset and gorgeous views. When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

Their playlist is great so vibes were on point. We all shared the lemon drop cocktail tower. It was super cute, tasty, fun, and did what it had to do for us pre-day party. For food, I tried the bao fish tacos and the crab curry gyoza. Both of these items were good but for the amount that comes with them it's pricy (you get 2 small bao tacos and 4 pieces of gyoza, both of which are $20-22 each). I liked the bao tacos the most because of the mixture of flavors and textures, including the excellently friend fish. The gyoza was different. It wasn't bad but I think I'm just used to crispy/fried gyoza vs these which were boiled/soft. My friends really enjoyed the crab fried rice. The fried sweet plantains were just ok to me; The batch we got were dry and not that sweet.

The couple who owns Kokomo deserve an award, if they don't have many already. The food is incredible. I've had both lunch and dinner. I can't say I have a favorite. But what stands out to me is: jerk chicken, mac and cheese, the lamb. Wait, my fave was the flatbread pizza with pasta and jerk chicken. My partner throughly enjoyed and raves about the oxtail. The mixed drinks were equally exceptional.
