Service is outstanding, professional and informative. We mentioned to our waiter that we love spice. He said stop by over the weekend. Spice levels range from 1 to 5. He recommended 4 to 5 based on our spicy preference. We tried lunch buffet. It is really good. My favorites are lime cilantro chicken, crunch vegetables,.chicken meatballs and all the desserts. My favorite dessert is kheer and it contains small bits of pistachios. Also return for their fluffy triangular bread which reminds me a little of a sopapilla. I enjoyed their variety of lentils and rice with peas. This is a great place to bring clients or new friends & family. Also, elegant place for a bridal shower, birthday or anniversary. Seating is available for large groups. They also have an extensive drink me menu that includes some with saffron & even 24kt gold. Their happy hour starts early and they offer domestic & foreign beer, red or white wine and cocktails specials. See Jando's in depth awesome review that I totally agree except the lime cilantro chicken is the best! I am actually going to learn how to make this dish.

Perfect mix of Mexican flavors and South Asian. Noon Mirch is some of the best Indian cuisine in the area. Great staff and great atmosphere. Will come back soon!

Indian food is my all-time favorite!! Its bold flavors and comforting richness never disappoint. Noon Mirch more than lives up to those expectations with consistently delicious dishes. I've truly never ordered anything there that wasn't amazing. This time, I tried the Jackfruit Masala with garlic naan and white rice, and it was OUTSTANDING. Don't be alarmed by all the peas in my rice. I'm a big fan of peas, so I happily claimed all the peas from the two orders of rice at our table. What's even better, is that the portions are generous, which means I always have leftovers to enjoy all over again the next day.

Chicken masala and korma

I thought the chicken masala and chicken korma was pretty good but I didn't like the naan as much. It didn't taste that fresh and was a bit tough to bite and tear. It also didn't come out that hot. The workers were so nice though and the inside seemed fancy compared to the outside.

We were really craving some Indian food and decided to finally try a sit down meal at Noon mirch. Service was prompt and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. We tried the Gobi Manchurian app, mixed grill kabob platter (chicken, lamb, shrimp, and shish kabob), butter chicken, and jalapeno/cheese naan. The food was authentic and definitely spicy. The kebobs were were tender, cooked perfectly and had a nice amount of seasoning. I especially liked the grilled lamb and tandoori chicken. Overall a great Indian/Nepalese restaurant in the Webster area. For our next trip well likely try the weekend buffet which was recommended to us by a few locals.

My husband is often in the area for work and gets takeout from here. Since I was tagging along on a recent trip we decided to have a sit down dinner here. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered their "Feast for Two" which came with a plate of mixed pakora, 2 different curries, saag paneer, a platter of grilled/tandoori meats, rice, bread and some sweets. In addition we ordered kulfi and thandai. Overall, the food was excellent but I would say the pakora was the weak link. I would order a la carte next time. The thandai was one of the best I've had and I highly recommend you try it!

Every time I go to Noon&Mirch it is GREAT. They are so consistent. The food is great, the service is great and the atmosphere is great. Seriously this place has some of the best food ever! I like getting the Dinner for two with babe. The house salad is divine and I recommend the Luscious Lychee cocktail. It is the best cocktail I have ever had.

Just wow. We came here with two small children, a tween, and two adults. Everybody found something they loved and the food was all fresh and delicious. On our several visits to the buffet, there was always 1-2 employees checking the food and making sure the temperature and quality were good. The quality control of this buffet is the best I have ever seen and it was obvious all the food was fresh. There are so many vegetarian options, we were pleasantly surprised and they were all tasty. The service was outstanding. Our server was patient and kind, which can be rare when you have little kids. He checked in on us frequently and made sure to remove used plates as we finished with them. The atmosphere is nice. Not fine dining but I questioned for a moment when I walked in the door with my kids if they were well enough behaved for the establishment. They were good! But the decor is minimalistic and classy. I'd love to see some more Indian-inspired decor though, to give it a bit more personality. We will be back!

We went to dinner here for NYE and everything was wonderful. We were a party of 10 and I know sometimes with a big party it can affect the service but not here. Everything was delivered together, no one was left waiting 10 minutes while they made their dish which I have experienced before. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable of everything and answered all of our questions. I had a vegetarian dish I think it was vegetarian delight, a sampler with soo much food. I liked that they brought the samosa and salad out before the rest of the dish. Others also enjoyed their main dishes.

Feast for Two

Was not expecting this place to be as upscale as it was, from the outside it did not appear that way. We showed up a bit underdressed because of it. I'm not saying you have to be dressed incredibly fancy though. Just something neat and put together. It did take a while for food to come out. However, we did order the feast for two so it was quite a bit of food. And the manager for the restaurant came to our table and kept us updated and apologized for any of the wait. Something strange did happen while we were there. It's not really the restaurant fault, but during our time there a woman came in with mild erratic behavior. She wasn't disruptive to anybody specifically which is why I believe the restaurant didn't do as much as I would've expected. I guess I was just a little confused how the situation was handled due to how upscale feeling of the restaurants environment.

My husband and I just visited Noon Mirch for a second time to try their buffet. We got there 20 minutes before it closed, but we were still given the opportunity to try it. One of the cleanest buffets I have ever been to and beautiful! Those beautiful chafings had inside the most delicious food! We tried almost everything! They have a salad bar, followed by fried snack bites like Medu Vada (this is spectacular) veggie pakora, they have 2 options of soup, both delicious! A wide variety of vegetarian dishes like saag paneer, soy based meats, and different chicken dishes, my favorite was the cilantro chicken, the lentil soup and the Chana Masala omg, I could eat this Chana Masala for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We ate a lot (shocker) but somehow we never feel sluggish after eating at Noon Mirch, we will keep coming back! I missed the Gobi Manchurian, but we'll get them next time ;)

Light floral drink with a pineapple coconut flavor

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this restaurant. The food was flavorful and the presentation was lovely, as well of the presentation of the drinks made by a legitimate mixologist named Benji. After a decade of interacting with bartenders, this was the first time a true mixologist crafted my drinks. The food, drinks, and service was extraordinary. In addition to the exceptional service provided by Benji, Kara was a very pleasant, helpful bartender/ server. And regarding clealiness-- spotless. Even in the restroom I saw an employee washing her hands like she was creating a HOW TO video on proper hand washing. I was so impressed and grateful for my experience at Noon Mirch. Other places won't compare now. Can't wait to go back. Unfortunately, i don't have pics of food to share because it all disappeared so suddenly, hah! Thank you!

Long before Noon Mirch ruled the South Houston (#1) Indian food scene, it was affectionately known as Cuisine of India. They've clearly as popular as ever as they've maintained one of the most reviewed and highest rated establishments in the area. (#2) Unlike it's previous divier incarnation, the newer location boasts a spacious interior with super modern and contemporary vibes. There is a full fledged bar, partitioned dining, and bright decor throughout the place. The bathrooms are clean and the layout is ideal for all group sizes. Prices are going to be higher than the average Indian spot but the food is solid. To get a sense of their variety, I recommend their weekend only (Friday-Sunday) buffet, which showcases some of what they do best. It's priced at $19.89 to honor the year they opened. For starters, they offer rasmalai one of my favorite desserts. When was the last time any Indian lunch buffet in the Houston area featured rasmalai on a consistent basis? (#3) Combined with the burfi, the usual kheer, and the syrupy galub jamun, they have a more robust sweets lineup than any other buffet I've seen locally. The hot foods lineup has been really good. I've enjoyed the dum biriyani, karahi chicken, lamb seekh kebab, chicken chapli kebab, and mutton biriyani. I'm still on the fence with their butter chicken, cilantro chicken, and dry-ish tandoori drumettes. Their vegetarian offerings are impressive as well. I've loved their creamy saag paneer, hearty veggie samosas, filling dosas, and their chaat papdi. There are some unconventional choices that make them a little different: Jackfruit masala? Vegetarian momo manchurian? Nutella samosa? I'm all for unconventional. Parking is in a lot but it can feel limited when they're super packed. I have a feeling the majority of the wait staff is unfamiliar with a desi language, Things got awkward when our server gave us a blank stare after asking if they served navratan korma or lamb rogan josh, which are fairly common dishes. That being said, they're still attentive and very friendly, which is always a plus. Whether it's their signature cocktails, banquet catering, weekend buffet hour, or just a nice group date on a school night, Noon Mirch is certainly worth checking out for all fans of the cuisine. ________ (#1) Ok. More like Webster but close enough. (#2) Which many of the reviews for Cuisine of India are still factored in. (#3) Here and there but definitely not as often as Noon Mirch.

We were seated quickly and they accommodate our group of 10 easily, we placed our order in the food, came out, reasonably quickly. Our main courses included mahkani chicken, vindaloo, fish, chicken biryani, spinach paneer, momo dumplings, and several orders of King of Texas platter. The flavors were wonderful, and when we ordered a few of us, ask them to dial up the spice, but be careful. 4 stars. Stopped in…read morefor an early weekday dinner. The place wasn't overly busy with dine-in, but the to-go orders were running nonstop. The inside isn't giant -- on the smaller side, with a lot of tables packed in, plus a couple of larger ones for bigger parties. Pro Tip: The spice level is was Medium/low, so if you are expecting some very spicy dishes you need to ask for them. Frontier Beef Karhai, $19.50 -- 3.5/5. Himalayan fried chicken, $24.99 -- 4.5/5. Nice crispy batter, prepared a little differently than you're used to. It's skinless, bone-on chicken that's been filleted off the bone a bit, so instead of a plain drumstick, it's more like a filleted drumstick, with the breast filleted off, with a little bone left on to hold it together. The chicken was super tender and moist and the batter was crunchy. There's a bit of an Indian flavor profile, but not overwhelming -- I was actually hoping for a little more spice, kick, and heat. Still, very good chicken, and I'd try it again. Rice, 3.5/5. Solid side, but nothing spectacular. I've had much better. Garlic naan, $9 -- 3.5/5. Solid, big piece of naan. Would get it again. Service was quick. The food took a little while to come out, mostly because of the fried chicken -- though we ordered that right when we sat down, then ordered the rest about ten minutes later as we looked over the menu. If you've lived in Houston all your life, I highly suggest giving this place a try. It's one of those Houston staples that's been around, and some of the things they do are really good and a little different. That said, from a value perspective I think a place like Aga's outshines them just slightly. I've had many of the same curries at Aga's and find them a touch better, and a slightly better value. In the end, it's a totally fine place for takeout or to sit down and eat give it a try. Would recommend, and would return.

These are some of the best drinks I've ever had at any type of Indo-Pak restaurants in Houston. The mint lemonade was definitely in a league of its own. We didn't go for any appetizers, just went straight in to the entrées. The Chicken Hara Masala Supreme. Just wow, chef's kiss. Think cut up chicken thighs in a green curry that almost has a salsa like mouth feel with vegetables. Absolutely decadent. The Steak Tikka. Round of applause. I overheard the owner telling other tables that it's the best steak in Houston. I'll say it's the best steak I've ever had at an Indo-Pak restaurant. The steak was super tender it had that famous Tikka style smokiness. The Butter Chicken. Pretty damn solid. The gravy was silky and perfectly textured. They also use chicken thighs for this, which makes it even better. The Saag Paneer. It was all right, I've had better at other places, but still super solid. The Paneer was fresh and was great on all the various naans we got. For the naan, we just got the garlic and the butter naan. They are absolutely great when they come straight out of the tandoor oven, but I found that they get a little too hard if not eaten quickly. I'm sure they would reheat really well. We also tried the spicy rocket naan and it decent. I would just stick with garlic and butter. The only miss for me was the Mutton Biryani. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid biryani dish, but I've had better that had a little bit more flavor. The mutton was very tender, but the opportunity was making the rice a little bit less clunky. I see a lot of reviews with people hating on things like service or area. Let me just say we had no issues with service. The service was top-notch. We spent $222 with tip across three people. A little pricey but totally worth it.

She told us she would give us a minute to decide on what we were wanting and that she would be back. I already knew what I was wanting as I was very excited to eat here, but I wanted to give my family a chance to look over the menu in case they wanted to pick out something different. We were brought water by one of the other servers, and then Saman came back and asked if we were ready. I ordered: -Chai with Jaggery: 7/10 was good but not something I would order every time; it's an acquired taste. It was sweet but with a mild bitterness at the end. -Daal Matka 10/10; this is one of my favorites. -Chicken Tikka Masala 10/10; another favorite of mine. Ordered this a bit spicier than it already is. -Butter Chicken 10/10 no notes it was delicious -Garlic Naan very 10/10; very soft and flavorful. My husband ordered: -Goat Kabab White Karahi 8/10; first time having this; it was good and I would order again in the future. My parents ordered: -Chicken Briyani 10/10; very flavorful and chicken was very tasty and tender. -Plain Basmati Rice 10/10; for white rice, it was good, wasn't overcooked or mushy. Cooked very well. -Aga's platter 9/10; has a variety of meats to try; all delicious. -BBQ Chicken Wings; 8/10 was good for an appetizer had great flavor and they were fall off the bone tender -Mint lemonade pitcher 10/10; this was the best lemonade I've ever had; it was very refreshing. My kiddo ordered: -Chicken Nuggets with Fries 10/10; he ate all his food with no complaints. -Mango Lassi 10/10; very delicious, I would order this every time -Pistachio Kulfi 10/10; had never had this before and I would definitely order it again in the future. Very creamy; not too sweet but you can taste the pistachio which I loved. Btw these are all his ratings and I have to say I agree with them. The food came out very quickly I'd say within 15-20mins for all the food. Taher (another server) saw I was taking pictures of each dish and asked if he could take our picture and pictures of all the food on the table. That helped us out a lot and he honestly didn't have to. Once the food was placed on the table we dug in and everything was absolutely delicious. A little while into our meal a gentleman who looked like a manager or upper management (unfortunately I didn't get his name) stopped by and asked us how we were doing and how we were enjoying our meal and how we heard about Aga's. He mentioned one of our dishes on the table was what they were known for and told us he appreciated us dining with them tonight. We continued to eat and after a while we were all pretty full and decided it was time for dessert. We asked Taher for to go boxes which he promptly brought us and we packaged up our left overs. Saman came back and helped us decide what to pick for dessert and my son decided on (the white blocks) or the Pistachio Kulfi. Our entire experience from beginning to end at Aga's was perfect. You are greeted by everyone once you walk in and everyone you pass on your way out the building thanks you for dining with them. We honestly weren't there that long the service was so quick it's like a well oiled machine. The vibe is nice in the restaurant it obviously will get louder as more people come in but you are still able to enjoy the conversation at your own table without having to be too loud. I will most definitely be back in the future to enjoy some more delicious dishes.

Waiting to get on with my to go order…read more Maharaja Bhog is the best example of North West side of food- Gujarat and Rajasthan states of India mainly and the 'guest is special' treatment, and the best part, its 100% vegetarian! It is a thali ofcourse. The best experience is dining in. Where you even get to wash your hands at the table and use the napkin the server holds to wipe of. Then the flow of dishes start- first with chass ( buttermilk)and one more beverage - lemonade, or shikanji , all good for digestive purpose traditional Indian drinks you take with meals.... ( not in the modern kitchens...not anymore... like most food habits around all cultures across the globe ) Then chats, sabzi and piping hot any two types of bread. Its unlimited. When I go, the starve the whole day and go for dinner ... lol... its just not fair to the delicious experience otherwise... There is a huge spread. And lastly followed by ghee khichidi or either rice or millet and one more rice item, sometimes even plain rice. After u r really totally done and plates cleared. They come around with coffee or tea! If only you were sitting in a garden with 100's of tables overlooking the mountains and had noone waiting for u to clear so their can occupy the seats.... remember even those people waiting would have starved the whole day .... That day got a to-go order. Its not an experience under any comparison but food is still great. Can't wait to do my dine in again sometime.
