This is my fist time here. Its a small restaurant, nice atmosphere, but not good service. I try ordering only and the seamless app dnt let you pick the red curry option so I had to go over there which wasnt a problem since the place looks nice! I order from the lunch menu a Pad thai for hubby and Red curry for me. It was almost 2 o'clock and I only waited 15min which is really good! I went home and when I got home the order was incorrect They serve me a green curry instead of red. Come on lady we even talk about the issue online and why i had to come over. I was to hungry to go back and deal w a rude lady and after all the green curry was good! .... After reading a number of great reviews here on Yelp, my girlfriend and I thought it would be a great place to eat on a snowy day. It is very quaint on the inside with a nice calming atmosphere. Everything on the menu looked delicious. I enjoyed the fact that they had pictures of all the food in the menu. This made choosing a dish a lot easier. I ended up ordering the chicken pad see eew. It came with chicken, noodles, broccoli, baby corn, and other greens marinated in a sweet soy sauce. It was great. I also ordered chicken and vegetable dumpling which were also very good. My girlfriend got the drunken noodles. If you like a spicy kick to your food you will definitely enjoy this. Overall, Noodle+ was a great choice. The food came out quickly and the service was fantastic. I will most certainly be coming back in the near future. read more

Noodle Plus - Famous Brown Sugar Bubble Tea & Delicious Nguyen Roasters Vietnamese Iced Coffee - Thai Near Me - White Plains, New York

HAND-MADE dumplings, fresh noodles, and boba (e.g. "bubble" tea). Asian people actually frequent this restaurant, so you know it has to be good. Dumplings: Mushroom and Veggie dumplings ($5.95)--delicious! Plenty of filling which consists of mushrooms, leeks, and bean sprouts (I think?). They're very juicy and the wrapper is a perfect thickness. Also the wrapper is green--something about the green color just makes them seem tastier and healthier. Xiao Long Bao ($5.50)--the difference between this dumpling and other dumplings is that this one has soup inside, which generally makes it tastier. These are actually rather difficult to find as they are not sold everywhere, so I was ecstatic when I saw this on the menu. I got full from the Mushroom and Veggie dumplings, so I didn't order this, but I definitely will on my next trip out there. Noodles: Duck and Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup ($10.95)--really good! The duck gives a really nice flavor to the broth. The shrimp wontons are really tasty, with relatively large chunks of shrimp inside; the wrappers on these are really thin, so the wonton absorbs the soup nicely and makes for flavorful bites. Boba milk tea ("bubble" tea) ($3.50 for a medium): Just in case you didn't know, "bubble" is used in the East Coast in place of "boba" which is used in the West Coast. The jasmine milk tea had a great flavor to it--just the right amount of tea. The Oolong milk tea is more of a sweet milk, with less of a tea flavor. Both were more on the milky side, but still good. The ratio of boba to milk tea is not very good, but I only have West Coast places to compare it to, so I'm not sure if that's something that's standard on the East Coast. The great thing about the milk tea here is that they have 6 different things to put in the tea: "bubble", aloe, mango, lychee, coffee jelly, and caramel jelly. --UPDATE: had their boba a few times after my initial visit, and each of these times, it was not good--old/stale and not flavorful...will no longer order boba from here. A few cons: 1. The restroom, which is shared with the office building, is disgusting, not maintained, and does not fit in with the nice office building and clean restaurant. 2. Since they make everything fresh (which is a good thing), they seem to tend to run out of menu items (bad thing). 3. Some of their menu items are pricey, specifically including the Pho. Maybe it's because I'm used to West Coast pricing on good asian food, but the Pho here was $9 or $10. read more

Terrible!!! I ordered for take out and wait was around 20 minutes. When I finally got my order I walked out and staff came running after me because they forgot part of the order. When I got back to my office they didn't close lid of food completely and bag was soaked from the sauce. I ordered lunch special of Thai basil rice with chicken which came w salad and pan fried dumpling. First off, there was a HAIR in the salad. Second, they put the salad and dumplings in one container so the dumplings got all soggy. Third, the veggies of the Thai basil were so raw. My craving for soup dumplings after a day of shopping led me here. This is a very small casual well lit Asian restaurant. It feels like it should be in China town due to its Manhattan kitschy feel. I ordered the wings and dumplings. The wings were crispy and flavorful served on a sweet chili sauce. The dumplings were very good. My only complaint is that they give you a very very small serving of dipping sauce. I had to ask for more. Menu was simple.. you can likely get good ramen here but I didn't try it. Worth a shit if your in the neighborhood. It's a little difficult to find being that it's set back off the street and parking close might be a challenge as it's on a busy block. So hear me out. I don't order delivery often. And the few places I have ordered from, always have their own in-house driver for deliveries or made it clear on their site that they use a 2nd party driver. I ordered the food direct from Noodle Plus's website..there was no indication that it would be redirected to a 2nd party driver..needless to say, I waited a half hour past the estimated delivery time to call for the status. I was told that the food was ready but they were waiting on someone to pick up the food for delivery and they had no idea when that would be. After some deliberation with my group, I called back to say we'd come and get the food ourselves. I was told that if we could beat the driver there then they could give us the food but if the driver made it there before us then it would have to go to the driver, but again they had no idea as to when the driver would arrive. We beat the driver and still ended up paying a tip to a driver who was a no-show. Everyone else's meal seemed ok but two dishes were beyond disproportionate. The BBQ over rice was essentially 85% white rice and 15% pork. Not worth the price tag. I got the Basil Noodles. The meat/veg was swimming in a single quart of sauce which I thought was soup and the noodles were in a separate container and I got only about a 1/2 cup of it. I understand that they shrink but a ratio of 1/2 cup cooked noodles to 1 full quart of sauce is ridiculous. If they didn't drown the noodles in that much sauce then there wouldn't be any concern with needing to separate them from the sauce like you would for a "Noodle SOUP!" on a delivery order. read more

I have made it my quest to find the best Pad Thai in Westchester and this definitely did not make the cut. I usually order the lunch special($9.75)to try it out and to also save money in case I need to toss it. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was such a disappointment. The noodles were dry and stuck together with little sauce. There were no bean sprouts, egg or authentic pad Thai flavor. It was basically dry chicken and noodles with a lime wedge. I chose the spring roll to accompany the salad with ginger sauce. I laughed when I opened the styrofoam container with a few pieces of lettuce, a smear of ginger dressing and two small spring rolls which were tasty. So this is my first time here and I have to say I'm impressed! They're shrimp wonton soup is delicious, the dumpling skin is thin and soft which is the way I like it, where many places make a very thick wonton. The hint of shrimp also makes the soup much tastier than a regular wonton soup. I was tempted to try the ramen and their noodles however I wasn't that hungry and being that it was lunch I wasn't trying to go too heavy! So instead I ordered one of my favorite things, SOUP DUMPLINGS!! The pork and crab, they were a tad salty but I didn't mind because I love salty. Overall this place is somewhere that I will come back to. I can't wait to try more items on this menu. Had lunch at Noodle+ last Monday, today my son had a choice for lunch at Noodle+ or Melt BBQ, he chose Noodle+. We both ordered from the lunch menu ($8.95), Thai ice tea, tea, fried dumpling (pork & vegetable), shumai (pork & shrimp) & beef Pad Thai. The dumplings and shumai are definitely home made, the dough is very thin & light. The shumai had nice chunks of shrimp in it. The Pad Thai was flavorful also. Last go around I had Thai Spicy Basil with beef. The dish had a nice kick and flavor to it. My son had the wonton noodle soup, which he devoured and was ready for another helping. We've never had a problem with service or seating since we are the first ones there approximately 11AM. This will fill you up without breaking the bank. read more

I placed an order by phone... The person I sent to pick it up wasn't exactly sure what I had ordered. So he picked up the wrong order. I went back it was 9 o'clock and they were closed. They open the door explain what happened they knew all about it. Even though they were closed they took back the wrong order and remade the two main dishes fresh. We walked in and it was small and empty. The hostess who greeted us had a stank face. The food however was really really good. This place is my new favorite Asian cuisine place! The setting is intimate and small but it gets very busy so either come in early or after 2pm when the lunch rush is over if you plan to sit and eat. It was my first time here and I must say it was well worth it. The place is clean including he tables and chairs, the host was nice and all of their food is made from scratch and fresh! the beef fried rice was so delicious from the tender meat to the fresh egg in it. I had a taste of my friends red curry soup which was amazing. He flap its were so fresh and the kick of spice made it so perfect to pair with the sides of rice. We shared the dumplings and if you ever had dumplings from your local Chinese food restaurant you know the taste of fresh dough versus dough that was frozen or been sitting a bit. This was the "just made today" taste. The bubble tea is made on scene as well and made to order like everything else. The little nana cook lady was so sweet and was so happy when I told her how delicious the food was and how grateful I was for such fresh tasting food. Service was slow but friendly; food was fairly quick but insanely hot... which is nice for takeout but my tongue is scalded and hurts a day later. Every time I am in white plains, this hidden gem is the only place I ever eat at! The staff is extremely friendly and the service does not disappoint. I tried the curry puffs and they were amazing! They were much better than the previous time I visited; there must be a new chef! They are very flavorful. I highly recommend them. This little place is great! I usually come from 11-3 for the lunch special. My main meal is the house noodles with beef, with the side of salad and gyoza. You can't beat $10/11 (depending on the meat) for lunch and some left overs for snack later. I love their bubble tea as well - I've only gotten the plain, but they do have flavors and different bubbles to add too. Sometimes they are under staffed and it can take a bit to get your order during peak hours, but I've never had a bad lunch there. You can eat inside or out, or also get take out. I don't know how to start putting my disappointment into words. Maybe I should post a picture of all our faces of disgust. Each one of our orders (6 of us) were extremely disappointed by our order and we are more hungry now than when our ordered arrived (1 hour after estimate) "I am getting sick watching you eat that" is what I am hearing in the background while writing this. Let's start with the red curry. It looks like they mixed cottage cheese with tapioca pudding. Also, zero flavor. The beef pho came with something resembling a testicle (which btw is not included on the description). The house noodle and drunken noodle had zero flavor. Way over cooked as well. The crab Rangoon dip was actually just crab Rangoon pieces (not dip). The soup dumplings "were destroyed" and floating in the soup. Lastly, the scallion pancakes were a doughy disaster. Noodle+ has a lot of potential, but they fall short in one category: service. The food is excellent. The pad thai, drunken noodles, curry puffs, and yellow curry are all outstanding. I could eat that shit everyday. The restaurant is......small, but it's ok. The service is just plain bad, but slowly improving. First time, we didn't have any water, utensils, or plates until we got our entrees. Second, they put the check on our table before we even got our food. As a big fan of amazing Thai restaurants in Manhattan, this has been just as good and I am not disappointed one bit. I am very ecstatic because the staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and they don't keep you waiting for too long. I recommend the crab dumplings for appetizers that reminded me of these soup dumplings that were made in this other restaurant in Chinatown that was so great. Didn't think I would find it in White Plains. Finally, for main courses, anything with noodles is fantastic. I know it's a bit vague, but their dishes are flawless. Traditional pad Thai is always a safe bet, but then how about some Pho for your order? That never disappoints either. Their Thai ice tea is dessert in a cup. Taste, however, was disappointing. the pad thai was sweet and lumpy - rather bland on taste. The spring rolls were disappointing, tasteless at best. I had a piece of my friend's shu mai dumplings - this was better, still rather bland - but the better of our two appetizer options. Pricing: at about $9 for the lunch special - this place is a great value. What ruined it for me is the strange way the charge for beverages. Here is the story: I arrived earlier than my lunch date and ordered a thai iced tea (as I waited) since it was part of the lunch special menu. At the end of lunch, I had 2 iced teas and my date had 1. I expected to pay for 2 lunch specials and 1 additional iced tea. They charged me for 2 iced teas and 2 lunch specials. - essentially 4 iced teas. When I inquired, the woman working there mentioned that if she would have known that we were going to order the lunch special - we would have been given 'smaller' iced teas. So she did us a favor and only charged for 2 iced teas on top of what the lunch special offered. Perhaps disclose this as you hand me the bill and not wait for me to ask? REALLY? The food is, at best, mediocre - there are better options around. What crushes it for me is poor business practices, as I have experienced. read more

Eating the vegetable Pad Thai i ordered out as I write this. The place has probably been open less than 2 weeks, and the atmosphere inside seems nice. This particular dish is your run-of-the-mill average Pad Thai dish. It's usually hard to mess this up at Thai places, but I have certainly had terrible Pad Thais. The tofu cubes inside are tasty, but it's certainly not your standard PT -- baby corn? The broccoli certainly doesn't seem fresh. For $9.95, for a no-meat dish, i'd like a bit more effort. it's a $6 or $7 -quality dish marked up for the prime location (connected to City Hall). Considering the other option for Pad Thai in the area is the $16-$21 plate at Full Moon on Post Road, it's a shame White Plains doesn't have more of a selection of Thai food for those on a budget. read more

I really would have liked to give Noodle+ an extra star but the poor service detracts me from doing so. I've eaten at Noodle+ in White Plains a good half dozen times already and overall their food is very good for the price, however even though there're times when their service is okay, they're too many times when it's been disappointing. I've gotten their big soup bowls several times, they're delicious and big part of what attracts people to the restaurant. So as for my latest dining experience there, I ordered a water and mango flavored iced tea to drink, a pork and vegetable filled dumpling appetizer and for the main course the drunken noodle chicken entree. I arrived at around 7:30pm on a Monday night and it was busy. They eventually sat me at a small table for 2 people, as I was dining by myself that night. My order was taken a few minutes later by a young male waiter. I got my water, but they took forever to get my mango iced tea over! 10, then 20 minutes went by, then finally the waiter realizes he made a mistake and forgot it, apologized, but by the time it came out a good half an hour went by, which is outrageous. I'm sitting there fuming, finally he brings it out along with the dumpling appetizer which should have come out much earlier. Then within only a minute or two of my long awaited appetizer coming out, a waitress comes over with my main course right on top of the appetizer! They also do a lot of take out and delivery there, so maybe their business is a little overwhelmed and understaffed to handle the high volume of customers, but that's still no excuse for the sub-standard service. Also, while I was there I observed other customers (one getting takeout, complaining about the wrong phone number being provided on their takeout menus and web sites and another one eating at a table complaining that the waiter botched his order and didn't bring him what he wanted) getting frustrated with the service. read more

We had, Pork and shrimp dumpling noodles, Chicken yakisoba, and pork and vag. dumplings. to start my noodles came about 15 min. after yakisoba and dumplings. and it was not hot at all. soup stock very bland, and watered down. not to my liking at all. Yakisoba, is not Yakisoba, if you know what it is. but it was ok. dumpling was the best part of the, very big and tasty, Over all I had high expectations from the reviews on this place but did not live up to my expectation. it is what it is. Unfortunately the place is tiny and they don't take reservations though, so don't count on getting a table. But if you're lucky, it's reasonably adequate Thai. We had the crab/pork/veggie dumplings, which were just okay. I had the drunken noodles which with shrimp, which was good, not great. The bubble tea was also just okay. The other two dishes we had were the shrimp wonton noodle soup, which was, again, good not great, and last but not least, the duck noodle soup, which was also good... but you guessed it, not great. I went here based on a recommendation from a friend as well as seeking out a good ramen place nearby. My mother and I asked a few questions about the difference between a few of the ramen options, to which the waitresses gave us nasty looks and attitudes and said they were basically the same. Which doesn't seem to make any sense... They also gave us an attitude when we asked for hot bubble tea. Mine was luke warm at most. We ordered fried tofu as an appetizer as we love age tofu and it was so bad. The skin was chewy instead of crunchy and the consistency was not right. The ramen I ordered tasted like packaged ramen noodles floating in watered down tasteless broth. The vegetables seemed to be out of a frozen vegetable packet I could buy myself. Needless to say, the soup was awful. My mother ordered the Pad Thai and said it was the worst one she has ever had and tasted a bit sour. The customer service was even worse than the food. The waitresses would not ever come over to our table. In addition they were yelling across the room to each other -- a room full of customers. A bit after that, one broke a plate and they were all fighting and bickering at the loudest possible level. We paid the check and left, without any goodbye or thank you given from their end. I will not go back here and do not recommend this place. You're better off making your own instant ramen. read more

If you are looking for Chinatown style noodle soup, then you will be disappointed. Not that I was comparing this place against the NYC greats, like Noodletown, Marco Polo Noodle Shop, Wonton Garden or Hong Kong Station. I even lowered my standards to the likes of Sammies, or Ollies, etc. The broth was too salty, the noodles were ok, nothing spectacular, and to their credit the wonton was actually very good, however the char siu (roast pork) was dry, flavorless and overcooked. The scallion pancakes were good, as were the soup dumplings, but I've had better. The service was unusual. There was an apparent language barrier, and our items got mixed up in the beginning. We were sitting next to a door that must've opened and closed at least a dozen times with (the owner's?) children running around. What was most bothersome service wise was that my roast pork was untouched and the waiter neglected to ask me if there was a problem with it. It was obvious I was unhappy with my dish.
