Went here for the first time I have seen the post on TikTok that dislocation on establishment in Mamaroneck which is close to me. I live in Yonkers so I was craving Ramen and I decided to go the Parking there on a Friday night was a little difficult but I managed to find something after maybe 30-45 minutes I went in and I got lucky there was a one seat available, and I was able to sit and try this place. I didn't know how we function. Apparently you had a scan for the menu went to order drinks from there and that's how you order the food, but one of the cooks was very pleasant. Acknowledge me greeted me and asked me if I was ready to order. I gave him my order and he executed it and I got my food as I'm looking. I see that it says scan to place your order, but I just sat down and was looking at the menu of the different appetizers that they have the different Ramen and was trying to decide what to get that I didn't pay attention to that I had to scan in order to place a order, but like I said the cook was nice enough to greet me and saw that I didn't know what I was doing. I got my food. It was really tasteful very filling. I enjoyed it. It was a good experience. I just wish they had different types of Ramen believe they only had like four or five but again it was delicious. It was what I wanted. What I needed. I definitely go again. Such a great spot! If you're looking for amazing ramen, look no further! I've passed this place many times and needed to try it. We tried the boba tea, spring rolls, hot chicken and my main dish was the chicken ramen. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! I'm so glad I stopped in for dinner. There is plenty of seating at the ramen bar, and there is a table outside. You can order from your seat with a QR code, or you can order from one of the servers. All food is made fresh to order and right in front of you. We came here around 4:30 PM for dinner and were the only ones here (on a Monday). We came here looking to fix a craving for traditional ramen without the hassle of travelling down to NYC. Upon entering we were greeted and sat ourselves down. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had to place our orders via our phones, which is convenient because they're arranged based on your seat, and it ensures that your order is taken and prepared correctly. We shared an order of Takoyaki and Pork Shumai, both of which came out fantastic. Presentation was perfect and the takoyaki was crispy and flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside. The texture of the shumai was excellent as well. For her entree my friend got the Duke's Shrimp Boil and added a boiled egg, nori, and scallions. I got the Chicken Chashu Ramen and added scallions, a boiled egg, bok choy, nori, and spicy crunchy garlic oil. We both tried each other's ramen and agreed that both were masterfully prepared. Portions were generous and filling and everything tasted as expected. The presentation was also superb and overall it was an amazing experience. For dessert I decided to try some of the mochi. I got three flavors: salted caramel, cake batter, and vegan lychee. The salted caramel and cake batter mochi were good. Nothing spectacular but good enough. The vegan lychee wasn't too good in my opinion. Maybe it's the fact that it was vegan, but didn't like it at all. The texture was crumbly and had a gritty mouth feel. For how good everything else was, I was a little disappointed with the mochi, but it's only a small part of the experience. Overall I think Duke's Ramen is definitely worth visiting for ramen connoisseurs. Besides the mochi, everything else was fantastic and affordable, with very fair portions. A very cute ramen spot on the main drag. A step inside transforms you directly to a Japanese restaurant in Japan! The aesthetic is very authentic. On my latest trip, I did have to get takeout. The food held up very well despite the transport. The tonkatsu ramen was one of the best I've had in the area. The noodles had a good texture, and the broth was delicious. My partner's curry pork katsu was very large and could have been made into two meals. Pick-up was easy, right inside the door with well-labeled bags for each order. We went here today on the recommendation of a friend. He had been raving about this place for awhile and we finally decided to try it. The ambience is a very typical ramen restaurant, with one long counter along the kitchen and no tables. The seats are all high chairs. The service was attentive. They did not make any mistakes. They accommodated all of our requests. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We got the spicy dumplings as an appetizer. We thought they would be like the spicy dumplings we've had in Chinese restaurants, but they were different, with a different sauce and much thicker dough. For the main meal, I got the spicy shrimp boil. It was incredible. It was one of the best soups I've ever had. The broth was an amazing blend of flavors. The shrimp, the noodles and the corn were perfect. I would definitely get the shrimp boil again. The broth was so good that I didn't feel a need to order water to wash away the flavor. We the had pork shumai and chicken kara-age wings as apps, and the tonkotsu ramen. Everything was very tasty, with generous portions. The affable owner, Eugene, and his staff run an efficient kitchen, and offer very reasonably-priced food from a diverse and thoughtful menu, as it actually gives a detailed breakdown of all of the potential allergens in each dish. Second visit. Same opinion. Good but definitely not great. Even here in then food barren of Westchester, there are better options. The food was ready when I arrived, even though I was 15 minutes early. A good thing because we were hungry but would have sucked if I came to pick up on time as the Ramen was no longer hot by the time we arrived home. The service was friendly and efficient. No chopsticks in the bag or a proper spoon like other places give. But I guess the problem we have with this place is they seem stingy. $13 for Ramen seems good until you realize that the portion is smaller than normal. There's a ton of mix in's but they add up quickly. $2 for an egg, $1 for 1 small piece of bok choy. $3 for extra noodles. The soup container was 3/4 full. My 15 year old asked for dinner right after we finished eating the ramen. $70 for 3 and the bags felt empty. I usually pick Ramen or Pho up in queens on my way home and there usually enough left for leftovers. I'd pay a little extra for more if that was an option as the whole experience from ordering to finally eating was pretty seamless. Making a PB&J an hour after dinner seems pretty depressing. read more

So happy that Westchester has another legit ramen restaurant! Duke's is a small, somewhat narrow restaurant off of the main drag on Mamaroneck Ave, with all indoor seating at the wooden counter Japanese ramen-ya style, with the kitchen right on the other side. Walls are adorned in hip fashion with manga (Japanese comics) writ large, with some familiar characters eating ramen. They appeared to have a few outdoor tables as well, but we sat inside this time around. We started with the pork gyoza, which were deep fried and tasty, and the kara-age fried chicken wings, also fried and deeply delicious with crisp coating and flavorful meat that was not at all dry. For the main, we all got tonkotsu ramen, the broth of which had rich, pork flavor without being too fatty. Noodles were of the wavy variety, cooked just enough so there was good chew to them, and I was pleasantly surprised to find there were plenty of noodles provided, unlike other places where kaedama (extra noodles) is practically required. Chashu (pork belly) was tender and well-cooked, and the egg add-ons had nice, jammy centers as expected for ramen eggs. A surprising particular standout was the corn add-on, which tasted fresh and like it had been sautéed or slightly charred over high heat, lending great flavor. Chili oil and white pepper shakers lined the counter and were welcome additions to deepen the broth's flavor even further. If I had anything to criticize, I'd say the broth could have used a bit more salt, but then I'm partial to salty things. Service was very friendly, as was the owner, who popped in near the end of our visit. If you want real ramen closer to what you can get in the city, you will be happy to visit here.
