Probably some of the worst food I've ever had. The noodles in the Drunken Noodles (with chicken) were pure mush and slimy- most likely very overcooked. I imagine this is what eating worms feels like. The chicken was super tough and had no flavor. They also barely even gave me any chicken to begin with; it's like 90% gross slimy noodles and 10% chicken. The Thai iced tea was terrible and had very little to no milk, wayyyy too much sugar, and no flavor. It had a weird rotten aftertaste. I ordered via delivery, so I can't say anything about the service or ambiance. Overall very bland and inedible. I had to stop eating after a few bites because I can't even stomach it. Waste of money. I have come here and ordered from here. The food was has been ok; when I ate there the soup was good and the service was good. When I ordered take out; the noodles were ok but a little overcooked. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely go back and order other items to see which one I like the best. For Thai food it is the only option in White Plains. read more

Just had lunch at Noodles Plus and it was a delight! The lunch specials come with a choice of 1 spring roll, 1 chive dumpling, or 1 pork pot sticker. I tried the chive dumpling, which was wonderfully springy and paired perfectly with a tasty dipping sauce, along with small handful of lightly dressed lettuce. Go for the chive dumpling it's different in a good way. The lunch menu features classic Thai dishes like Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai, though I noticed there's no Pad See Ew listed as a lunch option. You can add chicken, tofu, beef, or shrimp to your dishes; we both opted for beef in our noodles--Pad Thai for me and Drunken Noodles for her. The portions were generous and absolutely delicious! The restaurant is cozy and quite popular during lunch hours, especially with the nearby office crowd in downtown White Plains. Don't expect a leisurely lunch, service is quick. There are about 8 tables inside where several can be pushed together to accommodate 4 or more. A few outside tables would be nice to dine at but too windy today. We loved our meals and can't wait to return for either lunch or dinner when we have more time to unwind! My wife ordered the Udon with Chicken. She took one bite and dropped the chopstick. Said she doesn't like it. She wants to leave and wait for me in the car. I managed to finish my Vietnamese Beef Noodle soup. Get my check, and the waitress asked if I wanted to pack my wife's bowl. I said she doesn't like it and refused. She went to the back, talked to a lady (owner?), came back, and said she'd take the order off the bill. It was nice of the owner to do that. But the food needs to improve. Chewy and flavorful bites: savory with a bit of a kick and a touch of sweetness. 4/5. The curry was also pretty good, but definitely far from authentic. Wasn't as deep in flavor. It's been years since I've dined in, but I remember Noodle Plus having really good food, so I decided to order takeout/delivery to give it another go. Ordered the Shrimp and Wonton Noodle Soup, Kao Soi Noodle Soup, Drunken Noodles, and Minced Chicken over Rice. The food tasted great with the exception of the Drunken Noodles. I thought it tasted far too sour than what I'm normally used to. Not sure if it was the ill-tasting Drunken Noodles or the curry broth/pickled veggies that came with the Kao Soi that got me feeling sick though. This was an excellent place with a wide variety of noodle dishes. Started with the appetizers. The Thai hot chicken wings were quite excellent if a bit sweet. They were nice and crispy on the outside with a nice sweet gooey sauce slathered over the skin as well. It would have been nice if they balanced flats and drumsticks. The vegetarian dumplings were decent as well. These were more refreshing than the wings. They weren't extremely flavored but one could get a sense of the vegetable and mushroom flavoring inside the dumplings. The skins were nice and soft. The pad thai was texturally excellent. I loved how the dish was accompanied by peanuts and fresh bean sprouts on the side. Unfortunately for my taste, the dish was much too sweet; that said I was appreciative of the noodle texture and the flavoring. The shrimp was nicely seared. The wonton noodle soup was quite decent. The noodles were slightly overcooked and the broth was not particularly rich or distinctive. But the wontons were quite large and full of good shrimp and pork fillings. I am quite particular of wontons so I was fairly impressed with this particular version. The Singapore rice noodle dish contains some strong flavors though I wish they would have used more yellow curry. The noodles were also a tad bit damp and less texturally punchy than I typically like them. A gazillion stars for the staff and the chefs: it was the end of the day and they delivered the food to the table quickly, freshly, and with much skill. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I stopped in for a quick dinner this past weekend. The woman who greeted us was very friendly and sat us right away. We started with crab rangoon. This is easily some of the best rangoon that I have ever had. I ordered the pho and I honestly always forget how much I love pho until I order it. The portion size was great too! My wife ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen, which I tried a little of. The noodles were nice and firm, the pork was tasty and nicely cooked, and the broth was amazing. This restaurant is a decent option if you are craving Thai food. Their dishes feel a bit more generic than authentic, but they get the job done. I have tried their basil fried rice with vegetables. I would enjoy a little more spice, but the vegetables taste pretty fresh and overall, it's a satisfying dish. Their vegetable spring rolls are also tasty with a nice crispy fried outer shell. My mom enjoys their shrimp pad thai and says it's better than most. For what it is, I do find this restaurant to be pricey and their portions could be bigger. I was recently in town for work and after researching Yelp for something close to my hotel, I decided upon Noodles plus. I arrived at about 8 pm on Monday and there was only one other couple seated. I had to order the soup dumplings as a starter and man were they good! For my main course, I ordered chicken drunken noodles. They were good, but not great. Service, I wasn't impressed with. My meal took about 15 minutes to get to me, which is slow. My water got refilled once, but I finished it early into my meal, and it was never refilled. Mind you, there was only one other couple the whole time I was there. Would I eat there again? Absolutely, I enjoyed the food, I will just go with the expectation that it will be slow, and I'll need to ask for refills. read more

My review for this restaurant only reflects my delivery experience, I have not yet gad a chance to dine in. As someone who recently moved to white plains from queens, I felt that this Thai restaurant was the most worth it in terms of quality and cost. I got the pad see ew and my boyfriend got the house special noodles and we loved both! The noodles are a bit more watery than my liking but the flavors were there. The crab Rangoon is a must have! Even though we ordered them for delivery, they were still crunchy and delicious. The Thai hot wings were also good but more sweet than spicy to me. Very saucey! Good food! Pushed back off of main st and can be easily missed but is in downtown white plains! Great lunch specials (see pic)! Not able to find the lunch specials online for some reason... The specials come with an appetizer and a salad though to be honest the "salad" was more like a piece of lettuce! Lol (pic) I just love peanut dressing! BUT the entree was a full sized entree so I can't complain! Right now there is limited outdoor seating but it is in the shade and covered with umbrellas. I love a place that offers anything upon check in - Noodle +, give a free thai tea or soft drink and that already won me over. As for the food - I do give it a 4 star because everything was hot and filling except for the wonton noodle soup that I ordered. The wontons were great but just expected more flavor in the broth.
