I ordered delivery and was overall pleased with the experience! The salad options on the menu were great. I ordered the emerald. Super pleased with the portion size. Lots of greens, a half an avocado lots of pistachios! Really good quality ingredients that tasted fresh. I got the vegan bacon as an add on. Never had this brand before and while it was tasty, it did taste similar to potato chips, so for the price, I probably would not get it as an add on again. Fun to try! The restaurant has incredible food. The CitraDog Chicken and the BlackBean/Avacado are the best! The environment is like a food-court setting, but laid out for a chill hangout spot. They also have a bar and a rolled ice cream joint! The bar has an excellent rotating selection of craft beers (this coming from a beer snob...). Whoever chooses the selection, does a great job. As far as cocktails, Cassy makes a perfect old fashioned. They have seasonal drinks on the menu to keep things exciting. Ciders, Eggnogs, etc. I've only had the Treatery (rolled ice cream) once and it was good. My girlfriend loves their dairy free ice cream with Nutella and a toasted marshmallow. She gets it almost every time we're at Nomz. I get a beer or an old fashioned for my desert Oh yeah, not to forget... They started doing coffee a few months back. We tried it once when we were in the area early in the day. My hazelnut latte was PERFECT. They use local coffee from Akron Coffee Roasters! read more

Great place to go when there are both meat eaters and plant eaters in your group. They have a ton of vegan options! I got their sweet potato and pumpkin salad and subbed for vegan bacon. Great flavor combination! My fiance loved his citra dog chicken sandwich. Nice to have something like this in Akron. All their menu items seemed to be creative but not so far outside the box that it's off-putting for picky eaters. Food was made fresh so there is a little bit of a wait, but you can order ahead. Though I'll be tempted to go with the salad again next time because it was so good, that broccoli sub is next on my list to try! read more

There's not a lot of places that have vegan menus, but we found it while staying with our child at a nearby hospital. To say their food is delicious would be an understatement. We have now eaten it for three days straight, and I'm in love! My favorites are the vegan brunch bagel sandwich and the vegan broccoli sandwich. My husband, who is not vegan, loves the maple bacon eggwich. The vegan breakfast potatoes and vegan bacon are so yummy too. And the service is so fast, which we appreciate even more since we don't want to be away for my the hospital long! This place is really good! I just ate here and I got the turkey mostarda and it was AMAZING. I loved the melted Brie on it. I also had the potato salad and it was soooooooOOOo good. My boyfriend got the avocado black bean sandwich and it was shocking how bland it was because the turkey mostrada had a lot of flavor. He also got the tomato soup and that was okay. While the food was good, it took 30 minutes for a couple orders of scrambled eggs and potatoes to come out early on a Saturday when they were not busy. When the food finally did come out it was incomplete because the cook had misread the ticket, which he then argued about with us. Very disappointing service. read more

NOMZ is without a doubt a hidden gem in Akron. Since they opened I have eaten at their kitchen within the Northside District (or ordered delivery) over a dozen times. Not once have I walked away with a bad meal or felt let down by trying something new from the menu. Their ingredients both look and taste fresh, many are locally sourced, and every item on their seasonally rotating menus seems to have been thoughtfully constructed. The broccoli sub is one of the best surprises I have ever experienced, and the new chimichurri and flank steak sandwich from their spring menu tempts me to return on a daily basis. While the prices may be a bit higher than some, it's understandable knowing there is care and local sourcing involved in their food. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

I ordered delivery from here, so I can only address the food. I got the Bahn Mi, which was a different take on the traditional, but still delicious. It was small for the price, though. I also get the simple salad, which was also small, but it was only $1.50. Nice, fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, very lightly dressed.
