Cute spot with decent amount of seating and good atmosphere and service. Waiters were very attentive and portion sizes pretty good. Overall had drinks- mold wine was delicious and had little flavor accents in it. Shared a couple dishes- noodles, scallion pancakes, chips, and green beans- everything so good and decent size able to take items home- overall really good and yummy recommended

pretty nice vibes with asian street food inspired decor. the food was pretty standard, some were better than others -- I liked the ribs, eggplant, and dan dan noodles. the yuen yang was too milky and diluted. they gave us free chips which was nice!

Great vibe inside the place I loved the design of it. Mainly came here for the tea but ended up getting something to eat bc the menu sounded great. Tea wise I tried the Plum Oolong, Dragonwell, Caramelized Pear, and Fresh Mint. All of them were incredibly fragrant and so delish but the Dragonwell ended up being my fav despite how peculiar the description sounded. I'm a big fan of teas but ive never had "acorn, pistachio, hay, and squash". It was very very woodsy and warm, perfect for how sharp the wind was outside. Split the Crispy Chili Beef with a friend and it was actually sooooo good. When they said crispy they MEANT IT. So crunchy even with the sauce on it, although it did say it'd be spicy but I didn't feel any heat. Special shoutout to the absolutely FIRE playlist they had running because wow I was grooving so hard.

Smoked Trio Claypot, pretty good but didn't blow me away

Overall Nomad Tea Parlor is very charming. The decor is fresh and modern. We made a reservation but it was bad timing.. there was a huge party behind us. Our drinks took an insanely long time so did the food, except for my dish. I ordered Smoked trio claypot 4/5 and ended up sharing with everyone since their food was taking very long. I didn't mind..it was a big portion. But I'm bummed the rice didn't get the chance to crisp up on the bottom. Also! They should ask if we want food brought out together or as it's ready. It's kind of given for an upscale casual place. I ended up trying my friend dishes: Dan Dan noodles 5/5, Grandmas Beef Noodle soup 5/5, scallion pancake 5/5, XO Rice rolls and beef 4/5. They made it up to us with the best buns I've ever tasted and some yummy ice cream. I'd be happy to give it another chance and get the buns with some hot tea:)

Loved the atmosphere, food, and service here ! Sat at the bar and enjoyed cocktails first - all of them are pretty unique. I got the Smokey Dokey, which had a licorice taste and my friend got the Neon Lights, which had strong apple flavor. Both probably wouldn't be our first choice again, but super fun to try! The cucumber salad was Din Tai Fung tier to me, and the chicken truffle dumplings were perfection - not too much truffle and very well seasoned soup and chicken inside. Also potstickers had super flavorful chicken instead, very pleasantly surprised! Overall, this spot is not the cheapest, but if you're looking for a cute spot with some elevated dishes, this is amazing!

I finally got a chance to dine here and it did not disappoint. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful! Everything is so elegant and you feel like you've taken a trip. Fun selection of cocktails with Asian influences. I had the By the Bay, so good. They also do a weekend happy hour, definitely take advantage of that. We ordered the chicken truffle soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and the basil crab fried rice. The share plates on the menu are large so keep that in mind when ordering other items. My favorites were the cucumber salad (the right amount of a spicy kick and a fantastic sauce on the cucumbers) and the chicken truffle soup dumplings (the broth inside was so flavorful and the truffle was a nice creative touch).

Had way higher expectations when I originally bookmarked this place, but left pretty disappointed... They mistook us for the wrong reservation twice; brought two different guests (later ended up being in the same party) to me while I was waiting for my friend. Our server was pretty new so he didn't really know the drinks or the menu but that was ok! The happy hour still applied and I ordered a Plum Spritz but the flavor was weak. As for the food, they were a bit salty and were just ok! I don't think there was a dish that made me think I would want to come back here for. But beautiful ambiance! Seems prettier by the entrance but very spacious. It was pretty empty when we first walked in around 6pm but got really packed during prime dinner time.

We popped in after dinner for dessert and tea, and I immediately loved the ambiance. It truly feels like you've walked into a retro Hong Kong restaurant, the vibe is definitely a 5/5! They have an extensive tea menu, and given the slightly high prices, I went in with high expectations for quality. Unfortunately, the tea was a huge letdown. We ordered the Orchid Oolong (2/5) and were disappointed that the flavor wasn't bold or fragrant at all. It felt like the tea leaf quality didn't match the price point. Thankfully, the dessert was good! My friend highly recommended the Yuan Yern Ice Cream (4.25/5), and it was delicious. The flavor was bold and authentic

Cocktail is better than the food. Decor is great. Stuff is friendly. Overall good for small bites like dim sum and cocktails. Not very good for full meal. We ordered: Sizzling Cod Clay Pot - best of the day! Highly recommend! Blistered Beans - authentic, recommend. Sticky Baby Back Ribs - good appetizer Flower Razor Clams - salty and very pricy Veggie Lo'mein - so so Cocktails: Cloud Connected - recommend! Smokey Dokey - also pretty good

This place has been on my list for a bit and did not disappoint. We went in a Sunday night with a reservation but it wasn't filled to the brim. We tried their mapo tofu, chili wontons, and cucumbers. All dishes were super flavorful with the wontons being my favorite because of the chili oil flavor. The interior is really beautiful as well and the servers were super kind.

Great service but pretty average tasting food in small portions. Everything was decent but nothing really stood out. We went on a weekday evening and they were sold out of a lot of their teas but they did give us a free pot to make up for the limited selection. They were also great at helping us cut and serve the birthday cake we brought for our friend

it's SUPER cute inside. The water was kept full and nice and cold. The green beans were my favorite because they were very salty. The duck fried rice had just the right amount of "hints of curry."

Came here for happy hour (3-5pm specials) to catch up with a girl friend - love the chill and comfy vibe (love their booth tables) and friendly service. For the food, I can't say it blew my mind but it hits the spot if you are craving authentic Cantonese style dishes. We shared: - Har gow (shrimp dumpling) - 5/10 - Shumai (pork app wrapped with wonton skins) - 8/10 - pork wonton in chili oil - 8/10 (not really spicy) - crab and pork spoup dumplings- 9/10 - pork belly 10/10 - melted in my mouth! - duck fried rice - 7/10 The last two dishes are from their dinner menu. In addition, my friend had the Salty boi cocktail which was very sweet and tangy, and I had a pot of Jasmine tea. Will be back to try their other selections!

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

Easy to find if you know what you're looking for, if you arrive right at 5pm on a cold weeknight in the winter, you'll easily find a table or seat at the bar. Very cute space, cozy like everyone says, but nothing mind blowing. Music is moderately loud. The menu in early February still included their winter holiday cocktails. I was more interested in the apple sage house-made fermented soda, and it was pretty good-large glass, flavorful and not too sweet. My friend enjoyed her pomegranate version. The space started to fill up at around 5:30. Service was polite when you could get it, but generally very inattentive, even before it got busy. It honestly didn't feel too different from anu other very nice NYC bar, in terms of menu selection, prices, ambiance and service. Maybe that's standard for NYC speakeasies, but the places I frequented in other cities were more fun and felt more worth the price. I'll still give another NYC spot a try, but not coming back to Thyme.

It somehow manages to feel both refined and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you half expect to spot Hemingway in the corner pretending not to eavesdrop. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. It felt like a cocktail designed to be savored slowly. The music fit the mood perfectly, not too loud, just enough to give the room energy without killing conversation.
