Found this place by chance while looking for a place to have drinks. Stopped by and ordered the lychee martini. This drink is soo good and you will want to get more. Only ordered small bites from here but the food was good. Their crispy rice with spicy salmon was really tasty and their dumplings are also good to try. The staff were so kind and very welcoming. Its a nice trendy place. . Had a good time and definitely recommend.

Great spot for after work. The bar was quiet at 6pm but by 7, just about full on Thursday night. We ordered from the HH menu and also sushi from the dinner menu. All very good! Service is friendly and not rushed. Cool modern ambiance. Note, the bar seating is a regular bar with a big tv screen and alcohol on the shelves, not a traditional sushi chef prep area.

Really good quality sushi. The service was awesome, quick and friendly. The salmon crispy rice was so good. Sliced avocado on top. So yummy. The K roll was also great! The salmon was fresh and very tasty. Went around 7pm on a Thursday and sat at the bar. The atmosphere was very industrial chic. Very nice all around.

Stop by for a quick meal and a drink. Nice and quiet on a Thursday night. Bartender was attentive.

Stopped by for dinner after seeing the "buy one get one half off" special on their board, since they recently opened I assume it is to bring in new customers. Food was decent but not great. Sweet chili sauce on a sushi roll feels very "budget sushi". The sushi chef's were extremely nice which redeems the place slightly. When the bill came, I was told it was "buy one get one half off the same item". This wasn't advertised anywhere and who would want to go to a new restaurant to try the same item twice? No effort to make it right just a shrug and a "it is what it is". Save your money, there are plenty of other good spots around town.

So lovely from start to finish!…read more Made reservations here last minute for a quick brunch with a friend. I knew I was coming from the New York Dog Parade in EV, so I called to make sure we could be seated outside. The hostess said over the phone it could not be guaranteed. I muttered Thanks and hung up. Much to my surprise, when I arrived the next day, I was greeted by a friendly hostess who said it would be totally fine to be seated with my fur baby. We sat in the back, at a comfortable and quiet small table where he was so happy and I WAS SO HAPPY too. (The hostess said since it was a bit chilly out, it would be better to be seated inside--so thoughtful) The brunch was on the quicker side, with no drinks and we both ordered the arugula salad. They brought our sourdough bread as well with olive oil - it was very yummy! The quick light lunch was extended a bit as we waiting for her husband and kid to pick her up and we also had the ice cream desert - it was phenomenal. Not too sweet, but with a chocolate drizzle and a fabulous presentation. No photos because we were so busy catching up. But I definitely want to come for dinner soon! The service was also great - waiter was so nice, patient with me and seeing my pup and didn't rush us either. Thanks, Barlume!!!

It's been a minute since we'd dined out (life on the other side of having a kid has been DIFFERENT…read morey'all) so we decided to go check Barlume out. Did you know this is where the Beecher's used to be?! RIP, I miss their Mac n cheese.... the vibe is completely different now (think extravagant Mediterranean vibes, it's very instagram-mable with the beautiful bar area). I had made a reservation for 5:30 (again, life with a baby is very different)- we arrived early but the staff were very gracious and were able to get us seated. They seated us in a side alcove area where they had cushioned seating, which was very helpful. What we Ordered: Drinks: Barlume Spritz and Hibiscus Mule (N/A cocktail)- drinks were good, nothing too special but we appreciated the cute stirrers Appetizer: Halloumi- grilled halloumi with roasted eggplant puree. The saltiness of the halloumi went so well with the creaminess of the eggplant. (Baby liked the eggplant puree too hah) Entrees: Lobster Arrabiatta and Duck Ragu and Truffle Pizza. My husband got the lobster arrabiatta and was raving about how delicious it was. He said it was the perfect level of spice. My duck ragu was served with busiate (a corkscrew shaped pasta) which I thought 'trapped' the sauce perfectly so you get a nice saucy bite each time. Pasta was perfectly al dente- my one gripe is that I felt the duck ragu was a bit too salty, which even managed to overpower the tomato flavor. We shared the truffle pizza, which came topped off with stracciatella, porcini mushrooms and shaved truffles. I liked the porcini mushrooms on the pizza, this was a first for me. For dessert (which we had to gobble down quickly because baby was starting to get fussy) we got the pistachio cake. SAVE SPACE IN YOUR STOMACH FOR THIS ONE!!! This was my favorite in the whole meal, the kataifi gives it that wonderful crumbliness and it went soooo well with the mango sorbet that's served with it. Recommend for a nice dinner with friends or a cool place to grab drinks! 4.5 stars

During my…read morefirst visit I had made a comment, which they remembered and then proceeded to go above and beyond. Ambiance was upscale, intimate, perfect for a night out or something more casual. The dill vodka martini was dangerously easy to drink. We enjoyed every dish here, but standouts included the labneh (+simit), wagyu filet mignon, and the seasonal butternut squash. If you like uni, then the spicy tuna crispy rice or the uni pasta. Unpopular opinion, but the carrots were OK so i'd skip in favor of other options. Get the dark chocolate mousse for dessert and thank me later. We left stuffed and will be back. Shoutout to Hector!

But just as I'd given my name and the hostess was about to seat me, someone at the bar stepped in to greet friends, and three people stood up to meet them. By the time I could get around them, the hostess was already at the far end of the restaurant, near a back room, not having waited to guide me the rest of the way. I'd barely reached the table, hadn't sat down or taken off my jacket, when a waiter greeted me and asked if I'd been to the restaurant before. I gave him a look that said I haven't even sat down yet, but he pressed on, asking what kind of water I wanted and whether I'd decided on a drink. In that moment, the room stopped feeling like fine dining and started feeling like a diner. When my friend arrived a few minutes later -- someone I hadn't seen in a long time -- a waiter was at the table the instant she sat down, asking what she wanted to drink. They tried to clear our starters twice while we were still eating, and at one point took the cutlery off my friend's plate while she was mid-bite of her salad, just to make room for the entrées. During the entrées, two waiters and a back waiter attempted to clear our plates three separate times while we were still eating. The food was delicious, and the space was lovely. But the sense of being rushed throughout the meal was the most absurd I've experienced at a restaurant like this. I won't be going back.
