My friend and I came here as walk ins. She had a tech that was detail oriented and polite. That was not in my cards, though. My tech didn't say hi to me, started 3 mins after my friend, and ended 10 mins before her. My water was cold as well. When I asked for it to be warmer she walked away for a bit then came back and continued working like I said nothing. Even though the two of us asked for the same service, we did not get the same services done. When I asked about it she only spoke to the tech who was with my friend and he gave me a sad smile as she continued to work and not once acknowledge me. There was no massage, not warm towel wrap, and no scrub. She pretty much cut then painted my nails. They charged me the full price, though. When I asked about the service not reflecting the price, they doubled down and she walked away from me to hide in the back. Her lack of technique shows in the finished product. My toes look worse than if I painted them with my non dominant hand. The clear coat didn't cover the full nails some nails were not painted fully do not recommend this place. I forgot the name of the person who did my nails but he tried his best and lowkey made a good convo and was funny. i would recommend. but i wouldn't recommend very hard detailed stuff. they offered drinks when we went to get seated and they were kind. The nails aren't too expensive and the vibe of the place isn't really that good but the vibe of the people was awesome. But i wouldn't recommend this place if you wanted an extreme design. read more

Whatever you do - do NOT go here to get your nails done. The lady who did my nails could not have been in a bigger rush or cared less about the quality of her work. I went for a full set, I showed her my inspo nail shape in the very beginning which I attached to this - she clipped them a bit short but I was willing to overlook.. Then after she put the acrylic on and drilled for about 5 mins total - she started putting the gel color on!! No filing, no shaping, no buffing - NOTHING. I spoke up multiple times and she repeatedly said "I'm not done yet just wait and see" The nails were hideous. Thick, wide, clumpy, shapeless, and not even all the way to my cuticle. I was still getting my pedicure done (with another tech) when I then was rudely pressured to pay while she had the nerve to wait right next to me to fill out the receipt to see if I was going to tip or not and collect. When I was finishing up my pedicure, I asked to speak to a manager because my blood was boiling and I wanted to show him the quality of the nails. He told me "no refunds, their policy" and "come back another day to get them fixed" because they were closing... I would never step foot in that salon or any of their locations again so I have spent my night filing and buffing my nails myself in attempts to make them somewhat presentable for work on Monday. I really enjoyed my experience here with getting the basic manicure and citrus pedicure. My technician always checked on me to make sure I was ok and relaxed and I appreciated that. She took her time with my nails and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I picked the basic manicure and basic sports pedicure for my hubby. We were on our way down to North Captiva for spring break. I really wanted to get my nails done so they could look nice for the island so we stopped and got mani/pedis. The staff is very welcoming and the guy that did my pedicure was very gentle and has conversations with me and the lady that did my nails was also sweet and gentle. I was a long time customer of Noire Nail for many years. The sent me a birthday coupon but was only good for 1 week. I was in between appointments. I went in 4 days after the expiration date and the manager refused to let me use it. Again I was a regular customer who came in every three weeks and you don't let me use a 10% coupon. This showed me that they do not care about my business so I took my business elsewhere. I love Katie but the owner and manager do not care about their customers. I got a gel SNS manicure and regular pedicure. I was really impressed by the size, cleanliness, and updates of this locale. I liked their color options and that you can make reservations ahead of time. I wasn't really happy with my gel, I feel like it was way too thick and unnatural looking, despite specifically asking for thinning down the gel. And I had come here bc my girlfriends went here and theirs looked great! So I guess it just depends on who ya get. Anyways, for a gel mani and regular pedi I feel like I could have paid a little less than $53 ($66 if I didn't have the discount). I witnessed a situation this afternoon and the treatment was horrible. A young mom with her child came in for a nail appointment. The little girl got fussy but was not causing a huge issue. Had my second pedicure here and it will be my last!!! The first time I got ripped off, I thought it was maybe a one-off because I'm an out-of-towner who was a walk-in. The second time though, no it's just shady business practice! Selected the basic $32 pedicure with regular polish, so I can change the polish between pedicures myself as I always need fresh toes for my job. When I sat down, and no less than four times throughout the pedi, my tech asked if I wanted gel instead, $5. The fifth time she asked, I gave up and said "gel is fine." This review is purely for the customer and less for the business as I don't really think staff/mngmt reviews or cares about feedback. I've been to Noire five times. The first time I had Amy, and like the other reviews have said, Amy is a pretty good technician. So that one star is for you girl! The other four visits were with various technicians and they were all equally bad. Each one either filed my nails haphazardly (no real shape), didn't ask if i wanted cut or file (just did their own thing) and the paint jobs were never clean. I literally had to ask each time "can you clean up around my nails?" Each. Time. During my visit prior to this one (again without asking), the technician started filing my big toe nail at such a deep angle that I honestly don't know what she was going for. My toe nail shape was square. Maybe she figured cone toe nail would be cuter? Idk. Suffice to say, Vanessa (co owner?) heard my shriek and immediately changed my technician. Today's bang up job was completed by Vanessa herself. I am posting pictures from todays session to show why this was my final visit. Listen. If you can get an appt with Amy, then great. Otherwise please don't waste your time or money. Doesn't seem like anyone there, other than Amy, cares about actual technique or the quality of their work. I would not recommend this business because they're too expensive for the work they did. I went for a dipping nails 5 days ago. One of my nails is already broken because they put a very thin coat on my nails without the acrylic topcoat to protect it. I wasn't offered anything to drink from my nail tech. On top of all this, they charged me $50. I'm used to paying $45 for a strong nail dip, acrylic topcoat, and water. I don't think I'll return. It's a shame, too, because they're close to my house. read more

BEWARE. I went for a waxing yesterday for upper lip. On New Years Eve before getting all dressed up the lady literally waxed to raw meat. I knew something wasn't right when she tore of the waxing tape as it followed up with a major sting.
