Typical chop shop experience. While using the dremel tool, my mail tech was looking off at something rude, cut my fingers a few times. Got acrylic all over my skin and when I said it was hurting just ignored me while I was trying to get it off (my nails were housed into my skin) The what I requested Vs what a got was a joke, went home and reshaped them to my liking. I don't know why I gave this place another chance when I gave it two stars the first time. This time around I was next door for breakfast, and I needed a pedicure. It was early and they just opened for the day so I knew it wouldn't be busy. Too bad this time around was even worse. I honestly don't remember who did my pedicure the first time. My luck it was the same person that did my pedicure here this second time. Lets see! Hmm, it hurt like a B****, and when I said easy as they were digging my big toe as if they were finding gold, it hurt so fricken bad. Fast forward to now and my big toes on the side are so red and inflamed. The bottom of my right heel has a cut too since they worked on that hard. So it's ok to dig and pry through my toes yet not even cut my nails until I ask them. And then I have to go through each nail because they painted my toe nails like they were two years old learning how to color in the lines. My pedicure was not cheap. It was one of the higher priced ones and now I'm paying for it bc I have to put ice and Neosporin or whatever so I don't get an infection. If you don't want infection and you don't want pain after u pay for something like this, just don't come here. Just don't! This is twice I've been here and I get pedicures often to relax at other places. NOT Here!!! read more

I went to this salon this summer when I was visiting the area. The pedicure I got was amazing. The tech took her time and did a great job. I intentionally put off a pedicure knowing I was coming back to town and went straight there two days ago. They were busy, I did not have an appointment and wasn't thinking it was so close to NYE. I only had to wait 10-15 minutes before I was put in a chair. I waited a couple minutes in the chair but it was understandable. I chose a "premium" pedicure but before I did I asked if there was time. I explained I knew they were busy and I didn't have an appointment but was assured there was time. I told the nail tech thanks, because I didn't want the pedicure to go too quickly. Sadly, it went very quickly. She clipped my toenails as fast as she could, barely filed them (literally just slid the file one time across each nail), then sped through the pedicure. My toenails still have the curve of the clippers to them. She didn't lift my foot off the stool to use the cheese grater on my heels and when I got to the house my heels were not even completely clean. She rinsed the cheese grater off in the bowl with my feet still in it!!! Fewer than 24 hours later and, other than fresh polish, you'd never know I dropped almost $70 on a pedicure and tip. I am so disappointed in this place. As she rushed through I was paying attention to the two other customers across from me. They were still receiving service while I was almost finished, and they started before me. The kicker to all this? The traffic had slowed down in the salon and the chairs emptied during my service. After I had waited long enough for my toenails to dry, I walked to the front to pay and the tech was slouched in a chair behind an empty nail table playing on her phone. read more

I have been to Zara a few times now and had really good experiences. The salon is brand new, so it is very clean, which is important to me when getting my nails done. The decor is very nice, as well as the massage chairs. The lavender pedicure is so nice! It is essentially a standard pedicure with a lavender scrub added on. I have gotten it twice and enjoyed it every time. I also got a basic manicure. The only thing I would change is that I wish they added more top coat. The polish only lasted a few days, if that. I would recommend getting a gel manicure if you want it to last longer. The prices are pretty standard for nail salons. I believe I paid around $40 for a basic manicure and pedicure. This was my first time at Zara nail salon. Rosie was my technician. She did such a great job and her customer service was amazing! Rosie made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I was told I had to wait 20 minutes, but Rosie came to my rescue. I only waited 2 minutes. They even have wine!!! I'll definitely be returning back for another pedicure. We moved here from GA over a year ago and I have struggled to find a location that does SNS or dip well. I was searching Facebook groups and someone had recommended Dawn at Zara so I took a chance and she did NOT disappoint. She was so kind, meticulous, and captured the exact color and shape I was aiming for. I waited two weeks to write this post just to make sure the mail growth wasn't a disappointment(ladies, you know what I'm talking about) and other than length, they still look great. It was my first time visiting this salon .... I was greeted and I advised them it was my first time visiting this salon. No one communicated who would be my nail tech would be. I thought very odd and disappointed with that. Amy had no name tag nor did she introduce herself ( I asked when payment was requested) It was which pedicure do you want. I selected lavender $36 with massage. Massage was non existent. Amy then moved to my nails. I had clear gel on nails- there was NO mention that there was $5 surcharge for removal. Total charge $58 manicure $17 no polish or massage Salon smelled musty and of food. Nice decor but not impressed. So I'll keep looking for a nice place. read more

I had a pedicure and manicure on Thursday May 2, 2020. When doing my feet an overzealous technician scrubbed so hard that she removed layers of skin on the side of my foot before I screamed and pulled my foot away. Now I have a hole in the side of my foot that isn't getting better. I have to go to have a doctor look at it today because tomorrow I go on vacation. Be very careful. Aside from this injury I would say this salon is lovely inside. Everything is brand new. They use liners in sink for soaking your feet. Pray for me so that I don't have an infection. I have been cleaning it and using antibiotic ointment. Wish I could put a picture on here for you to see this. read more

She failed to tell me that so she can just pass me off to somebody else the purpose I go there is just for that nail tech she was rude she was stupid this is not a place if you want to go get pampered and get away this is a place that you have to deal with drama and no customer service. This is my new salon! I've lived in the area about 9 months now and visited a lot and of nail salons. Most were OK, but Zara is really great. They have a wall of gel polish so you don't have to play around with those little plastic samples on a ring. They have the best pedicure chairs; they massage without feeling like you'll end up bruised. They offer a drink as soon as you sit down. And the technicians really listen and I always end up with the shape I want and all my nails are even. They really have an attention to detail. I've gone a few times and always call before I head over but did notice they take walk-ins. Their prices are about the same as other salons but I feel you get more for your money. read more

I've been going to Zara for almost year and I love it! I hopped around nail techs for the first couple of times since I didn't book my appointments (they take walk-ins!) but once I had Angela I started booking appointments with her. She always double checks her work and double checks with me to make sure I'm happy! She pays attention to minor details that most nail techs I've had prior have passed over:/ The pricing is a little bit higher than I've been used to from other nail salons but it's 100% worth it. I had a young man do my nails. He was very sloppy. Got polish on my fingers, little hairs from cleaning my polish off. I told him to get the hairs out of the polish and he said it's ok you'll never see them. The problem was he wanted to keep checking out all the guys there or that would come in. This place is good if you want to get a mani/pedi in under an hour. I walked in and my nail tech was rushing me to pick a color and she basically chose a color for me. I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and she quickly picked a polish that was not even close to what I wanted. I asked her to cut my nails down because I had broken some and I wanted them the same length. She did not cut them down leaving my nails uneven. Usually other places I go to will rub the lotion on my hands and arms during a manicure. This lady just squirted a dot of lotion and slapped it on my hand. She was rude in a way where if I made any movements she would sound annoyed. My pedicure was under 20 minutes, because I asked for the "basic" one, which was an overpriced $30. No exfoliation, barely any lotion and honestly I could've done a better job at home. The massage was around 30 seconds per leg and she seemed like she was just trying to get out of the place. The polish turned out messy and it didn't look fresh. As soon as she finished the pedicure she told me sit and wait until my toes were dry. She said I needed to pay right then and there, not even waiting until I got up to leave. She brought me the payment and was hovering over me until I handed her the receipt and tip. If I didn't work in the industry I would've given her a bad tip but I know how people rely on tips. It's a shame because this place is super cute and clean but the service is not it. read more
