However I didn't stop there. 3 days later a nail broke. Had to return to get that fixed. I decided to give this place one more shot. What a mistake that was. Within 3 hours after getting my fill I had a nail break. Next morning I was washing dishes and another nail broke. Now I'm on day 3 of a fresh set of nails and I have a 3rd nail broken..... mind you this is builder gel. I paid $60 for the fill. Tipped $20. $80 total for me to have 3 broken nails within 3 days of getting them. I'm absolutely in shock. What a horrible experience.

All she had to do was apologize. My daughter's friend did not have an appointment and was done an HOUR before my daughter. I just couldn't believe the person representing the business in the front with guests would act in such a way. They need training in customer service. But we'll never go back after that.

I just got my first set of Gelx nails because I wanted some length and I love them! No more major remodeling work so I know these are going to last me awhile! Cary is super approachable and easy to talk to. I love our conversations. She's only been doing nails for a few months but she's always willing to try unique designs if you ask. I've seen a lot of great work from her. I look forward to trying some fun designs with her and will update my review as we continue our nail journey together. I came here looking for proper foot care, but the business is overly reliant on tools to speed…read morethrough the pedicure rather than providing thorough foot care. Before I even had a chance to soak my feet, the technician wanted to begin the pedicure. Instead of properly soaking off my no-chip/gel polish, an electric file was used to remove it, and the e-file was also used around my cuticles. Which if you have gone to nail shops and experienced them cutting you that is why we don't use them around our cuticles. The biggest disappointment was the lack of attention to callus removal and exfoliation. The pumice was used for only a few seconds, and most of the remaining foot care consisted of rinsing or washing my feet with water. Skipping the initial soak, barely scrubbing, and relying on fast machine shortcuts completely misses the point. They did such an incomplete job on the exfoliation that I ended up having to scrub my own feet. I am a licensed nail technician, and I occasionally get pedicures at different salons specifically so I can evaluate the quality of the service and whether proper pedicure procedures are being followed. To top it all off, the business charges consumers for their own credit card processing fees at checkout 3%. If you want a detailed pedicure that actually focuses on callus removal and proper care rather than quick shortcuts and the extra processing CC fee, I would look elsewhere.
