Pasta Bolognese
Jackie C.

Nice ambience overall but don't judge the book by its cover (looks good, but down right disappointing). Our table ordered just the main courses because we saw no interesting worth while appetizers. Skipped on drinks and the waiter appeared impatient - maybe a bit upset that we only ordered main entrees? Red sauce pasta lacked taste and over acidic. They should have added a pinch of baking soda to cut the acidity to a more acceptable level. Our table agreed after sharing bites. Meatball stuffed with spaghetti - average flavor and meat was a bit dry/tough (and noodles were too soft). Mushroom ravioli was tasty. Had their prime ribeye medium rare, but was served medium. No searing on either sides. Isn't it standard protocol? Neither the cook, line check or waiter noticed (obvious missing visual queues). So boring and disappointing I didn't take a picture. Pressed for time and so I ate as is, but my stomach started feeling weird afterwards. Another 20 minutes after walking out the restaurant, I was feeling nauseous in the stomach. Not a good sign but was too late to let them know or regret. Feeling miserable. Overpriced on the pasta with red sauce and definitely the prime ribeye steak. My first and last visit to this establishment.

Me and my husband came here for our anniversary. I'm not big on meat places but this place far exceeded my expectations. We ordered prime rib steak, jalepeno drink, watermelon non alcoholic drink, pumpkin white truffle squash ravioli, fatoush salad, the lamb flatbread, we pick 3 dips: humus, olive tapenade, and smashed avocado, spicy paprika spiced fries, and for desert the strawberry shortcake. My husband loved the jalepeno drink, it was spicy but not overbearing, the watermelon drink was good as well. The butternut squash ravioli and the lamb flatbread were probably my favorite. They were so flavorful and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. The steak did not come with a side so we got the spiced fries which were just French fries with some spices sprinkled on them, I would not order them again if I would come back. The service was great. Our waiter kept checking in on us to make sure everything was to our liking. The ambiance was romantic with dim lights and candles on our table. I liked the glass rooftop over us. It just made the evening more enjoyable. I did feel like our table was a little too close to other tables and that our table was pretty small, everything fit but it felt a little crowded. Items on the menu are overpriced, so be prepared to spend a nice penny if you want to try different foods. Overall our experience was pretty nice.

Service at noidue carne was impeccable and the highlight of our evening here. When we walked in as a party of 5 without a reservation, the host greeted us and invited us to sit at the bar while they prepared a table for us. Even on a random midweek weeknight, the restaurant was nearly full. After we ordered our entrees, we were served the most delicious fresh and fluffy bread, which paired beautifully with the olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. The waitstaff showed up to refill our waters and our bread basket repeatedly throughout our meal, always available but never hovering. The meatball appetizer was so delicious and drenched appropriately in rich tomato sauce, which was perfect for sponging up with the bread. This is definitely a spot I would return to, both for the romantic ambiance and for the delicious kosher food!

The salad was good the hummus was fine even the pasta was ok. But our bill was way too high for what we ate. Also no pita with hummus included? That is obnoxious.

FATTY & GROSS

Absolutely horrible experience....food was awful. We began the evening by ordering the chicken poppers. These came as four overcooked chicken meatballs which had NO flavor. Then we had the lamb flatbread which was actually quite enjoyable. After this we ordered the 24 oz 30 day dry aged ribeye steak. We requested medium rare and it came out charred and overdone. The manager apologized and said that they would like to make a new steak. The second steak was blue (as in less than rare) and beyond FATTY. See the attached picture. In reaction, the manager said "sometimes our chef has good days and sometimes he has bad days"! How can a high-end restaurant say this! BTW - we left and still spent $80 on two appetizers that were average at best. STAY AWAY

Soooo gooooood! Short rib pasta baby. Nothing else like it. Once in a while they have a special giant meatball with pasta baked inside. Solid steak and drinks too. Pretty good covid accommodations and heat lamps too.

I dined at Noidue Carne last night with my boyfriend and his dad. My boyfriend's father had been raving about it and he went there on Tuesday evening with some other family. Being that it is only a few minutes walking distance from their apartment, he was excited to find a restaurant he loves so close to their home. He also told us it was Jewish / Italian cuisine, which I was looking forward to because I have never tried it before. He also told us because it is Kosher they cannot serve meat with cheese so the restaurant does not have cheese. I was skeptical of this at first because of course, I am a cheese fanatic but let me tell you I was not disappointed by the meal we received at Noidue Carne! We started off with a few of their appetizers. We got the fried baby artichokes, the spiced lamb flatbread and some delicious cauliflower that was served over a great red sauce. All of the appetizer's were fabulous, packed with flavor and on the lighter side (which is good because you had enough room to eat your meal afterwards lol). For our entrees, I ordered the full portion of the rigatoni bolognese which was terrific! My boyfriend ordered the pesto gnocchi which was light, and you could taste that the gnocchi was home made. My boyfriends father got the veal chop Milanese which was perfectly thin, extremely tender and an extremely large portion! And for dessert to finish off our meal, we got the mixed berry sorbet and the non-dairy cannoli's. Both were excellent, the cannoli's were delicious even without the dairy and the sorbet was very refreshing after our meals. The service was superb at Noidue Carne as well. You didn't feel like you were in all of the huddle and bustle of NYC. The waitstaff cared about you, they were attentive the entire time and they couldn't do enough for us. We loved our waiter Geoff, he was excellent and recommended some great wine for our table! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, loved the ambiance of the restaurant and were happy with the service we received at Noidue Carne; we will be back again very soon!!

I've never tried a Japanese cheesecake before and was extremely excited to be able to pick up some treats for my coworkers as well as my partner's birthday cake from Keki. Ordering is fairly straightforward and done with a simple machine outfront. Once your order is ready one of the staff members hands it to you through a window; there is no inside area accessible to customers but our food came quickly and we took it back to the office. The cheesecake was fantastic. I read a bit about the background of the shop online and how the owner really cares about using high-quality ingredients, specifically dairy. It was justas described, light and bouncy. I enjoyed how it was not overly sweet and found that it was all too easy to devour the entire cake over the course of two days. Despite it not having much weight to it, it traveled surprisingly well as I took it home on my three train commute! Similar to what others have said, the real highlight of the shop, in my opinion, are their cream puffs. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the outer layer was thin yet had a nice little crunch to it. We tried the classic milk, cookies & cream pistachio and ube flavors. Our favorite was the pistachio by far, which had such a unique yet decadent flavor and our second favorite was the milk cream puff. There's not much else I can say other than you really have to go here and try the desserts yourself. If you're a fan of Japanese desserts that are rich yet not too sweet, you'll be a fan of Keki.

There are lots of other tart places that do something sinilar and didn't really think these were that memorable. Just did take out option here so not much to ambiance or service from my experience to speak on.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
