I've lived in Seguin my whole life but somehow never made it to Noe's Tacos. I've heard plenty of good things, so I finally decided to give them a try. The atmosphere was great, very welcoming and clean. It wasn't overly loud or crowded, which I really appreciated. The prices were also very reasonable. However, the service was disappointing. When we first walked in, no one greeted or acknowledged us. I wasn't sure if it was "seat yourself" or "wait to be seated," so we grabbed a table. We sat for about 13 minutes without being checked on, and we eventually had to wave someone down to get service. It definitely disappointing on our first impression. As for the food, it was solid. I ordered the pancake platter and they were amazing, ginormous, fluffy, and perfect. It comes with bacon or sausage but i have my bacon too my date because I don't eat pork. My date got three tacos, potato egg and bacon, barbacoa, and picadillo with potato. I'm picky about potatoes at Mexican restaurants, but these were spot on. The barbacoa looked great and wasn't greasy, and the picadillo was delicious as well. The tortillas were mid. I've had better, but overall, the food was great. I would definitely come back, but I think I'll stick to the drive-thru next time to avoid the wait! read more

Greeting fellow foodies. We are on a road trip across Texas and had to stop in Seguin for breakfast tacos. Our order consisted of a Taco Loco (on flour tortilla) and Barbacoa Taco on freshly made corn. I was pleased that their flour tortillas recipe used baking powder. A browning agent is a MUST when making tortillas, if not they look and taste raw. Their homemade corn tortillas were fresh, hot, and tasty. Since we all have different taste buds, I suggest trying it out for yourself. The place was overall clean. However, the floor needs to be degreased. Staff was friendly and serves was fast given they were busy. Their business is located on a small lot with a drive thru which can get busy but moves quickly. Happy eating read more

I'm really on the fence about this place.. very good enchiladas Rancheras. SO GOOD. The rice and beans were alright lacking a little flavor. Girls were quick with takeing our order and bringing the food out. The only down fall about this place was the floor was suppperrrrr slippery I couldn't walk without sliding. Quite scary. This establishment makes some of the best tacos I've had in Texas. I had a Chorizo and Egg taco as well as a Carne Guisada taco. They were about average in size compared to other tacos I've had, but the taste was well above average. It is a small place with a drive thru so it can seem crowded on the inside, however, we enjoyed our time and were able to have a nice conversation while seated inside. This is an awesome family run restaurant. The menu is pretty basic but everything we had was great. Like the old saying goes, do a few things great instead of a lot of things mediocre. Great Tacos! New to the area and did not know breakfast tacos were a thing. Love their egg & nopal, Barbacoa, and more! I wish I had some pics to share but my family and I devoured them! We had a moving day on Saturday and wanted to treat everyone that helped to tacos but we missed out. We were excited to go, we didn't look at their operating hours. The food they make is all delicious, from the breakfast tacos to lunch plates as well the coffee and tea. The drive thru line in the mornings are long but they drive in and out fast. The dine-in is a little small but there's still lots of room to sit and eat comfortably and very clean as well from inside and out. P.S. their barbacoba and carne quisda tacos are great. read more

Noe's Tacos is hands down the best 'Mexican Food' in town! The interior is beautifully decorated, and the drive-thru and servers are always quick, professional, and accurate. I've been eating there for at least 7-8 years, and I've never left disappointed. *side note but this means a lot to me as someone who actually prefers unsweet tea... Nice little hole in the wall taco joint! I was lead here while doing a detour from Austin to San Antonio and thank you Yelp for the always great recommendations! Im a "flour tortilla snob" and this place didn't disappoint!! The food was tasty, tortillas were fresh and fluffy and the wait staff were friendly. The place can look deceiving but It was clean and very comfortable. I had some carne guisada tacos, and fajitas tacos. My date opted for the chicken mole. We found this place thanks to a Google search. I'm so glad we did! The food was delicious! We went on a Sunday morning. I think this is probably one of their more busier times. We were lucky that a couple was leaving a few minutes after we arrived, so we were able to snag a table. I ordered the carne guisada breakfast plate and a barbacoa taco. I didn't try the taco since I was stuffed after finishing the CG plate. The flour tortillas were so warm, fluffy, and flavorful!! I would definitely come back again. On our recent trip, we visited Noe's twice for breakfast. The kids loved the pancakes and French toast breakfasts. We had various tacos for breakfast. Everything was absolutely amazing. Our favorite taco was the fajita a La Mexicans. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and reminded us of what a great breakfast experience is. I would like to specifically recognize Ms Lupita. On our first trip, she waited until after our blessing before coming to our table. On our second trip, our daughter ordered something different. She wanted to confirm she meant to order something different from days before. We definitely recommend this place and the people who represent them. read more

Eveytime we passed this little hole in the wall it was closed. Typical of the covid shutdown. We were finally able to eat there one day passing by. The al pastor was great tender and yummy my husband said.. The Menudo was perfect for me. Excellent brothy Menudo, I love to extra lime it and extra jalapeno too. They cut the tripe small and I really love that, the ones that have huge globs of tripe are not palate friendly. My husband also loved the beef fajita taco with their red salsa. Everyone keeps raving about how great this place is! It's okay, would be better if their salsa was actually spicy ‍ Carne Guisada taco was good and would recommend! Barbacoa one would have been better if I could have put salsa on it but the tomato purée I was given wasn't the vibe. Giving 3 stars because they're not the best but not the worst either. This is my favorite place in Seguin and considering there are probably 35 Mexican restaurants here that's saying something. Everything on the menu is excellent as well as the service. They are the only place I've found that makes chicken mole which is excellent. read more

It took a while to have anyone acknowledge our arrival and then another wait to have our drink orders taken and menus brought. Another wait for food orders and that's when three of us found out they were out of bread so the banh mi selections were not going to happen and we needed a minute to recalibrate. Ma and I noticed different things about the new menus. She felt they had a better (she even called it fancy) explanation of the dishes; I noticed the menu had been Americanized in a manner one might expect for Seguin. For instance, you won't find the words bánh mì anymore, they're just listed as sandwiches. There was only one employee on the floor tending all the tables, and she was doing her best. The food's still very tasty when it does arrive, which is why I'm still OK with it despite a couple rough spots. Mr R had his usual bun (giant bowl of rice vermicelli) which looked beautiful. Both my Midwestern parents chose chicken fried rice when their chicken sandwiches were unavailable--only ma took her leftovers home but they both said it was tasty and truth is the servings were sizeable. I went rogue and chose beef skewers off the appetizer menu, and they were delicious! The skewers came nicely presented and impressively charred. The beef was sliced thin and ribboned on skewers--since I wasn't sharing with anyone I ate them right off the stick and only made a bit of a mess on my shirt. The sauce was perfect and every bite tender excepting pleasurable little crispy edges here and there. Two guys came out front for a smoke break when a lull arrived and the remaining tables (including us) had been served. I assume it was the owner who came to check on everyone and apologize for the unusual wait as they were understaffed. I snuck Mr R a fifty which paid for most of the tab at the counter. When Mr R added the remainder and said to keep the change, he said the owner handed the entire tip straight to the waitress which was nice to hear. Seguin's not a town of adventurous eating so I hope this place keeps doing what it needs to survive and the kitchen keeps serving up the good stuff. If next time it's won back a star or two, I'll be thrilled to bits.

I had Mac and cheese, and cream corn. Very good tasting. Maria had the chicken strips with gravy and fries. I'm not much a fan of steak fries, but these were done perfectly. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Andrew had the chicken Alfredo, what a meal, especially for an 11year old, but he took care of that plate all by himself. We also had a slice of coconut cream pie, oh boy, it was so good. For some reason, my pictures won't post.

My husband and I went on a Sunday around brunch time and they were doing steady business. The parking lot is tiny, so street parking is more likely the norm (we parked on the street). The building itself is old and in disrepair. The floors are very uneven and I almost fell entering the bathroom because the floor dips so much when you first walk into the women's bathroom. The front door doesn't close properly at all, which was definitely a problem when another customer decided to smoke a cigarette twice while we were there directly outside the front door! Nothing like the vile smell of cig smoke to whet the appetite. Things didn't quite start off on the right foot when it was unclear if we needed to seat ourselves and then a waitstaff would assist us or if we needed to order at the counter and then have a seat. There was no signage indicating what we needed to do and we waited for about 5 minutes at the counter with no assistance before I snagged the attention of a waiter who informed us we could sit at any available table and then would be served. All available tables were dirty still, although the plates had been removed. The server did come and wipe off the table and he was good and friendly. I ordered the chilequiles and asked if I could have both red and green sauce, but just green if I couldn't have both. It came with only red, so that was a bummer. There was no sauce on the egg, just on the tortilla strips which were soggy and chewy and unpleasant to eat. The egg itself randomly tasted like dirt! I have never experienced that before, and I have no idea what was causing that flavor, but it legitimately tasted dirty. The beans and potatoes were completely unseasoned but acceptable in quality. Everything was pretty much just bland, which was also true of my husband's breakfast burrito. He got it with bacon (extra crisp), egg, potato, and cheese. The bacon was underdone and a bit fatty and everything was totally unseasoned for him as well. The tortillas were sort of dense and chewy and just were not my favorite. I will say the chips and salsa were delicious, and we had ample time to eat them because it took our food at least 35 minutes to come out. Our waiter never checked to see if my husband needed a refill or if we needed more chips (we did, we ran out because the baskets are little). I also felt it was overpriced, as my plate was $15 and my husband's was $8. For those prices I expect higher quality and service. Overall, just a very disappointing visit and we will not be back.
