Super fast service. Clean, local fast food joint known for their burgers. The burger menu is insanely large. The boyfriend had a pimento cheeseburger that he raved about. My salad was fresh and popping with flavor.

Friendly staff. Cooks are going as fast as they can, but demand gets the better of them at times. Large clean patio, some covered, and games. Kirby burger is nice and tidy, not a grease burger, put together well, but lacked flavor in the meat and all. The thing I remember going out - hard working staff making good meals.

Came here because it was open, and right next to the garden center. Did not disappoint for a fast food chain! Cajun fries were a definite hit, super crunchy. My burger ... amazing and I actually ate the whole thing - which normally I can't do anywhere. Can't wait to be back in town to grab food here again!

When the sign says "best burgers in Texas. Seriously" the must not have tried anyone else's burgers. Super friendly staff, everything about the place was great, except my burger. The beef was obviously fresh but not a bit of seasoning to it. Extremely bland. Was a let down after seeing how busy it was.

The food and service were excellent! One of the few places in town with reasonable prices including mimosas!

The funnel cake fries were particularly delicious. I also liked the hickory burger and BLT.

A particular standout is the BLT sandwich, which features the most generous portion of bacon that I have ever encountered in a BLT sandwich. They also offer several soups of the day that are surprisingly good. And the salads stand out as well. And a completely non-pertinent fact: the owner is this season's President of the Mid-Texas Symphony!

We arrived on Sunday around 6pm, parking is on the street or side of restaurant. Walking in it was old timey vibes and dim lights, the bar was lit up beautifully! We were sat immediately (sit yourself) and a server came up and handed us menus and said "please place orders at the bar for drinks and food" ORDER was: regular burger add cheese and tots, jalapeño burger with fries, pulled pork sliders With absolute seriousness, the food was AMAZING! It took a little while to make (maybe 30ish minutes) but the wait was worth it, the patty itself was fresh and very tasty (and I'll add the veggies on the burger were very fresh!!) We will absolutely be back!!

For those of you who seem obsessed with the amount of pending drafts I have…read more and when I get them done and how many I do at a time... Take note, I'm now in my Seguin pending draft phase. I digress. Let's get this review going: This family-owned bbq joint opened their door just a couple of years ago (2023). Don't let this new establishment concern you because these folks have been at it for years. Their previous place was in Rosenberg and it opened back in 1990. Prior to that , the owner's parents started their first place back in 1964. Proper, generational barbecue...it's in their blood. In fact, I'm pretty sure their blood is bbq sauce. They know what they're doing! The restaurant and covered patio are modern and industrial with wood, brick, and metal elements. Ample seating inside and out. The food is bombastic! Sometimes they have an Italian beef sandwich that I'm just crazy about. Love these other sandwiches too: Brisket Turkey Sausage Boyfriend loves the pulled pork sandwich. The brisket nachos are mouth-watering goodness. They have brisket tostadas that I've not tried yet but definitely plan to. I lose my mind for the peach crumble and the boyfriend loves the pecan cobbler. Sides we love: Brisket rice!! Tater tot casserole!! Mac + cheese Buttered potatoes Do yourselves a favor, go pig out at this pit room. You'll be glad you did! PS: stellar service too

I went in today with my three-year-old son during lunch hour on a weekday and it just felt like the elder crowd was like "what are they doing here?" As I walked in. Now Maybe I'm a little guarded I mean, I'm a single full-time Dad prior military, so I'm protective and observant. Plus, some guy in a big ol truck of course ( mind you I have a truck) decided that he wanted to almost hit my son and I as we' attempted to walking across the parking lot. I digress, but it was to the extent that I didn't even want to sit inside, so we sat on the patio. Which reminds me 91° outside and the patio well well ventilated, w/ breeze and felt good. All in all just an iffy experience. Food was good not great turkey was dry but the baked potato salad will have me back through the drive-thru through.

Well, timing is everything because we finally got to eat their delicious food today (6/20/26) at the annual Juneteenth event at the Carver Museum/Library. It's an extremely hot and humid and typical Austin summer day and the line went on forever. Guess what? It was so worth almost suffering heat exhaustion. Seriously. Wanna know how good that food is? I was wearing a plain white tee shirt that got destroyed. How & why? Because I was eating like I've never had food before and got it all over me! I'm messy when the food is good. I had the chopped beef sandwich and my boyfriend had the brisket. Y'all, that's some fine barbecue. Sizzlin' good. That was some of the most tender meat we've ever smacked our lips on. Parking is little limited but on the side of the establishment is an auxiliary parking. As you walk inside you see the old power station. As you enter you are taking to your seat, either inside or in the patio area to see the view of the river. The personnel are very helpful and kind, they answer any questions regarding the menu. I didn't want to believe some of the reviews about this because I believe in having the experiences for myself but my fellow yelpers weren't lying.... Our service was not its best. The guy started by serving us water and literally throwing the straws at our table it was so odd and came off as disrectpful. I would say it's because he was so busy but that wasn't even the case. Granted we were a larger table but like I said we all were working well with him. I think the worst of it was instead of going around the table and handing my mom her salad he reached over my sister and spilled all the ranch all over her hair and blouse. We were all pretty shocked! Mistakes happen that's for sure but it just seemed like his rushed behavior caused the mistake. The ambiance was nice! Very chill I loved the water right outside the restaurant that was nice too. I will give credit where it's due they did comp her meal but just because my mom had to point it out not because it came out of them. It just was a very different experience.
