Stopped by Fork & Spoon for a quick brunch while out plant shopping, and I'm so glad we did. We…read moredidn't have a reservation, so we had a 40-minute wait--pro-tip: definitely make a reservation ahead of time! It was worth the wait, though. I ordered the turkey club with fries, and while it might sound like a standard order, it was hands down the best turkey club I've ever tasted. The fries were perfectly crisp and well-seasoned, too. The service was amazing, and the spot has such a great, chill vibe. If the weather were a little cooler, it would have been perfect to sit outside. Regardless, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area again

We were greeted warmly by the host and had only a short wait. The restaurant was generally clean, although a few areas beneath the booths needed sweeping, and the ceiling fans needed dusting. The fans may sound picky, but the details matter, especially at a place with this much potential. The star here is undoubtedly the food. Last week, I ordered takeout: a chicken club with tomato soup and a Reuben with tortilla soup. The chicken was perfectly cooked and moist. The Reuben was above average, although I personally would have liked a little more corned beef. Today, I ordered the hash with poached eggs. The hash was delightful, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My guest ordered French toast with strawberries and an over-hard egg. I tried the French toast, and it was light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The homemade whipped butter finished it beautifully--no syrup needed. Unfortunately, the over-hard egg arrived overly browned, with crispy, slightly burnt edges. When we asked for a replacement, it was handled quickly, and the new egg was cooked properly. Where this restaurant needs polishing is the service. Our server's apron was noticeably soiled, which detracted from the overall impression. A clean, professional appearance matters. Having spent years working as a chef and general manager, I also noticed several missed opportunities to elevate the experience. Water arrived without anyone asking whether we wanted another beverage--a natural opportunity to offer specialty drinks. There was little conversation or guidance through the menu, and no mention of the scratch-made offerings that help make this restaurant stand out. When I asked for a recommendation between the hash and another dish, our server recommended the hash without explaining what made it a favorite. A little enthusiasm and description would have gone a long way. The server also suggested ordering the sauce on the side. Unless a guest expresses a preference or concern, I generally favor presenting a dish as the kitchen intended. It honors the thought behind the recipe and avoids unnecessary modifications that can complicate kitchen flow. One final small detail: when I requested water to go, I was brought an empty cup to pour it myself. Bringing a freshly filled to-go cup would have been a more thoughtful finishing touch. There is a lot to love about Fork and Spoon, especially what is coming out of the kitchen. With some service coaching and closer attention to cleanliness and presentation, this unpolished gem could truly shine.

Just moved to NB and super glad that we tried this place…read more Ordered takeout via online order- upside down pineapple pancakes, strawberry cheesecake french toast, 2 brisket tacos, and the brisket omelette plate. Everything was delicious, though our favorite was the french toast. I like how they give you the option even online how you want your eggs done ! BONUS points for the fact that they gave us everything to eat with our food!- salt/pepper, salsa, ketchup, butter, jam, you name it were inside the bag . From what I saw inside, plenty of seating, and parking was kinda meh w/ a diagonal parking lot in the front BUT there is plenty in the back. Food was good, but 1000% worth coming back thanks to the hospitality of "Joe." I'm not sure if the business will see this but Joe, thanks so much for the kind welcomes and experience at your place! Be back soon.

The BLT I had last time was LIT y'all, I snarfed that thing down like it was my last meal. The thai chicken salad is my fave, with rich Asian flavors that you don't normally get with chicken salad. My only small gripe is that their booths and tables have zero cushion, you are literally sitting on a hard plank and it is pretty uncomfortable. Would love to see an upgrade to the seating situation, but other than that I love Roost.
