Honestly the food service and ambiance were 10/10 the young girl (Sydney) that helped us was amazing. She greeted us with a smile explained the menu and made us feel like not just a customer. Ok, so we are HUGE on value! This place is not it. When I went there were no meals. Everything purchased separately. The burger, then the fries, then the drink. I bought meals for the guys at work, each meal was almost $20. Is it great? No. Is it bad? No. After paying that much do you really want to say it was just ok? The price point is not good. When you go to Whataburger and pay half of the price, and honestly about the same taste wise. Yes the beef seemed better quality here. The drinks came in a cool, I think reusable cup. Just tried this place, have heard about it for a while. Stopped in with family and got 3 kid burgers and one 8oz burger. The place was very clean, the guy taking orders was very friendly and answered all questions. We didnt have to wait very long for food, everything came out within 5-8 mins and the inside was full. The burger was very juicy, but lacked flavor or seasoning. This was very odd because they sell their spice mixture at counter.. the fries were crispy crinkle cut with more seasoning than burger lol. We added a chili queso fry as well which was pretty good. Overall it was decent burger, fries were hot and fresh, the tea needs work. I am not sure i would go again just because I feel iron horse burgers a better. The regular burger was pretty tasty. A tad pricey at 10.50 for a single burger. I didn't notice anything about it being a special beef besides chuck? The issue is the kids burger meal. It's not even a burger, let's call it a slider. Pics for reference. $7 for a TINY burger and a few fries. The meat doesn't even cover the slider size bun. Probably the most overpriced kids meal for the size. Numerous nice restaurants do better than this for the same price. Also why are the online prices different than the posted ones on site? 50 cents more for fries and a dollar more on the kids meals. Was around the area and wanted to to get a quick bite to eat so I searched for fast food. I found this place and it was close by so I decided to give it a shot. Once I arrived I noticed it was a food truck parked in a large parking area. It was easy to find and I loved the design of the truck. Once I walked up to the truck I was greeted and explained the menu. I ended up ordering the Original UBP Burger with Cheese, Bacon, and Jalapeños. The price was reasonable and they had seating under a canopy. Once my order was ready I received a text and hurried to try my meal. I then opened my box and saw this amazing looking burger! Once I bit into the burger it was packed with flavor and the juices the patty had was amazing!!! I loved every bite and didn't want it to end! I've been a repeat customer here for over two years now, and man can I tell you this place has incredible food. Once again I'm rating this Food Truck a 5/5. The Queso Chili Fries are incredible, perfectly seasoned, the queso is amazing, and the chili tastes fresh and flavorful. I'm once again blown away at all the flavors and taste. While out and in New Braunfels today, the wife and I decided to try this little burger trailer. Locals had been raving about this place, so we were very excited to try it. This is one of two locations, with the other being on business 35 close to Walnut. We walked up to the window and were greeted by a nice fella, and he has asked if we had been here before, to which we replied we had not. The gentleman told us the available burgers and all the delicious toppings they had to offer. My wife ordered the classic cheeseburger, and I ordered the original cheeseburger with a large side of fries. My wife ordered her burger all the way with jalapeños, while I ordered my burger plain and dry. I paid $24.61 for our burgers and we sat in the truck to wait for our food. Wait time was quoted around 10 minutes. In seven minutes I received a text my order was ready. I approached the window and was handed a white paper bag with our order. Presented nice and perfectly folded, we made our way to the truck and proceeded to drive home. Well, we did not quite make it home. The smell of the burgers were smelling the truck up and making us very hungry. We stopped at Buc-ee's and proceeded to eat our food. I opened the box of fries and proceed to graze while my wife took her time getting the burgers out. The fries were nothing special. Just your basic crinkle cut fries. Not bad, just blah. We then opened the boxes with our burger and went right to work. My wife's burger was more bread than burger, but that was to be expected as she got the smaller burger. My burger to bun ratio was more proportional since my burger was bigger. Upon picking both of our burgers up, a lot grease dripped back into the box. This is what I like to see from a burger. Surprisingly, the grease did not make the bun soggy, which was nice. The burger had gooey cheese, and this was looking to be the epic burger everyone described. Now, my first bite. The burger was very juicy, nice gooey cheese, and the fresh bun tied it all together well. This could have been the juiciest burger I have ever had in this town. The only thing that took away from this burger is that they were a little heavy handed on pepper on this burger. The pepper was overpowering and took a lot away from the burger. My wife, who generally likes pepper in her burger commented the same. She also made the comment that this place did not live up to the hype that everyone in New Braunfels built it up to be. I enjoyed my burger and will be back for sure. The next time I go, I'm going to request they lay off of the pepper. This burger was almost the best burger I've had here in New Braunfels. Maybe next time. I definitely recommend UBP Burger. Be sure to bring your wallet, as they are a little pricey. You pay for quality here, and it is not a chain, so you will have to pay more. The burger was actually a good size for lunch. Seasoned fries were okay; nothing to write home about, but they were small and skinny and not as hot as the burger; seems like they should be more like steak fries to go better with the burger. I will likely visit again since it's close to work. Wait time was long but to be expected with freshly cooked order. Walked over to the nearby record shop and looked around while I waited for my order to be ready. They have tables and chairs under awnings if you want to eat there. Good food but the price is something that needs to be factored. 20$ for a burger and fries is a little pricey.

We decided to finally try this place after ( in all honesty) the other place wasn't accepting delivery. As the 3 of us ate, we chatted about the food, the good the not so good. The onion rings were delicious and still decently warm after delivery. The Tater tots are nothing to get excited over, pretty disappointed, just tasted like frozen ones we do at home. The 'only' other thing sorta off-putting was the meat , though it seemed of good quality it was spicy. We all determined not a good idea on that, we just want a good burger. Not sure if you can request regular without the spice but not everyone likes that, just saying. Third & final is the outrageous price of a burger there, I don't care if the meat is prime rib, there's not enough on that burger to charge that much. read more
